These guys are great! Very fast, very efficient, and also very detail-oriented. We had a double door that needed to be replaced. The original opening was taller than a standard door so they had to stucco (outside) and drywall (inside) to close off the top, along with framing and installing two doors. We needed a replacement Skylight for our house damaged in the Palisades fire. Leo and his team responded quickly, and the team came first to analyze the need/design. Then they scheduled a follow up appointment to do a complete repair and is was done in less than 1/2 day on site. The two workers (Ramundo was lead) really know how to do skylights. They cleaned up quickly, and the job was PERFECT! If you need any work like this, they are your guys. They even worked to get the least expensive but needed amount of repairs. No overcharging there! Consultation: I provided my plans prior to consultation and provided a budget and stated I only wanted a sit down if the could meet my budget. Leo said he could meet the budget and we scheduled an appointment for a meet up. He came to agree on a number and he said he would give me an official proposal once the stamped plans came in. Once the stamped plans came in (which were slightly different) I asked for a proposal. He then came back and said I need printed blue prints for the plans to give an official price. I was confused since he had a PDF form and I've never had this sort of request for a simple price proposal. All contractors I've ever worked with came in hand with their own printed blueprints. But anyways I entertained him and spent 70$ to give him the papers to give me an official quote to which I had to beg for. He finally called back and said the plans have changed drastically and the beans were different sizes now (which I verified with my structural engineer they hadn't changed) and he said he was still working on a number and would get back to me. Weeks passed and I heard nothing. Followed up... nothing. I ended up going with another company and asked for my printed plans back to which I have not yet received. My guess is that he no longer could honor the estimate he originally quoted which is fine but that should have been communicated. That's only professional to get back to people who you say you offer a free consultation Quality: can't speak to this cause I didn't use them Price: can't speak to this cause he never gave me an official number Customer service: he was nice and responsive up until a point and then just ghosted. read more

In April 2021, I hired LG Builders to replace my roof. I had a terrible experience. They were extraordinarily unprofessional. They made many mistakes, causing the job, which was estimated to take 10 days, 4 months to complete. A year later, I have a leaking roof. They also urinated in my yard multiple times, left garbage including beer cans, they did shoddy work that needed to be replaced and/ or repaired. Now, because the roof wasn't sealed properly I have mold from leaks. Frequently late or no shows (no notice given). They cut corners to save pennies. Online they are responsive initially. However, the people that come are not who you are told are coming. They do a good job of taking photos of the pre and post work. I had two small areas on a roof that were adjacent to the porch covering - they talked me into believing it would be a whole week of work with several workers required to perform the repairs and over $5k. They seemed honest enough. In the end it was only 5 hours of work for a roofer and assistant, and they left me with finishing work to perform under the porch covering from the plywood sheet that was replaced. The roof leaks were repaired well, good job on that. Otherwise they way overpriced and talk up a game to hook you into a contract. read more

We know that companies give bids on showers only to come back a few days later and ask for $7,000-8k more ( happened to our neighbors ) but this wasn't the case they actually got the job done on time and very CLEAN ! LG Builders is probably the most honest you can get. Our house had a leak from an above balcony, which caused a whole heap of issues. We had multiple contractors come with various price estimates and decided to go with LG builders. We went with the company because of the honesty of Leo. He was very clear about the difficulty or lack there of of certain aspects of the construction. For example, we had a roof tile above the leak that needed to be repaired. Other companies tried charging us 5,000 for the repair, stating, "This is a very complex job." Leo came in, took a look, and said, "This is all of 5 minutes of work, I won't charge a client for something so small, It's no problem." It's that type of honesty that we admired. When we contracted the company, the entire construction was finished in 2 weeks (this includes a holiday during the week, too). Leo would check in with the construction regularly, the work was clean, professional, and very well done. One thing I liked specifically is that Leo's staff are his staff and not random day laborers. We were well in process of renovating our home in advance of a hard date open house and we came across some issues that needed immediate attention with which the contractors we knew could not help. I found LG on the internet and decided to call. Within 10 minutes of initially reaching out, I heard back from their office that they had people in the area and they could be at our home in 1/2 hour. Sure enough, I met Oren and Jonathan that day. They looked at the job that we presented and unfortunately found that the situation was far worse than we had imagined; our roof was bad underneath the surface. But they understood our time factor and had people out to do the repair the very next day! At that point, we knew we had found a very good resource and presented them with a number of other issues around our home. Some of them had been bothering us for almost 4 years and nobody else had been able to identify the issues and fix them. They were super responsive to our needs. We had LG Builders do 4 jobs on our house- more or less at the same time. We got a new roof, new exterior paint (and replaced the front door and a few windows), remodeled a bedroom, and converted a closet to a laundry room. The roofing team were amazing- working in the Valley heat, they removed and replaced the roof quickly and professionally and the new roof looks amazing. The team that worked inside were fast and very respectful of the house. There was framing, painting, plumbing, electrical, and locksmith work and Leo managed them all very well and everyone was pleasant and professional. The exterior paint job required a lot of attention and management by us, but with different colors and finishes for the house, trim, deck, and fence, but it came out great in the end. Leo, Mr. LG himself, is a great general contractor. He returns all calls quickly, keeps things moving, and is a calming presence that really keeps the stress level down during a process which is inherently stressful. If I could give him 8 out of 5 stars, I would. Leo and I share the same namesake, so obviously he was going to be awesome, haha .. Leo is professional, attentive, and will cater to pretty much any request. He gives honest opinions when surveying the scope of the work, and makes sure he provides quality work while still trying to save you money. Any question, comment, or concern was handled by Leo with the utmost respect and care. This was the first contractor Ive worked with in which I never had any doubt he would deliver as promised. I also truly appreciate that no job is too small. He showed me and my dinky project the same care he would give to a $100k project. Heck, compared to the other contractors Ive worked with, he's provided 10 times more care and attention than the other combined! And props to his crew, especially Valentine! He was so nice! I extended the concrete slab of my porch to the driveway, repainted the porch posts, and installed rain gutters. Valentine figured a creative way to get around a concern about the steps. There was a concern about the gutters, and instead of debating about it, Leo simply said "don't worry, I got you, I'll take care of it", and boom, issue resolved within two minutes. He was on on schedule with everything: started on the day he said he was going to start, told me what days which parts of the work will be delivered/completed, and finished the day he said he was going to finish. As per the contract, I made my payments, but for the last payment, he insisted he not receive payment until we did a final walkthrough. The other contractors had to be told to wait until a final punchlist was completed. Not only was it an absolute pleasure working with Leo, I've already scheduled an appointment to get a quote for the guest bathroom remodel, and I'm definitely going to call him up when I finally redo the siding. Finding a good and trusting contractor is not easy and LG Builders is one of them. I used LG to remodel my kitchen and a master bathroom and I'm very happy with the results. From the beginning Leo treated us like a family. Living in a construction zone is no fun but LG Builders made it possible. The workers always cleaned after themselves at the end of each work day and were nice and friendly. I started with just the kitchen and the master bathroom remodel and then added a new roof, tankless water heater and a new upgraded electric panel.
