I recently took over the household responsibilities for my grandmother and discovered that one of the bathrooms had been completely neglected for years and accumulated an alarming buildup of mold in the master bathroom, with some mold present in our other two bathrooms as well. Tommy was quick to show up after I reached out and produced an estimate for mold remediation the same day. It was also discovered that our home (built in the early '70s) had lead and asbestos present as well. Tommy and his team did an excellent job with the lead and asbestos abatement and mold remediation. I was concerned about the potential spreading of lead dust during the deconstruction, as well as mold contamination spreading. However, Tommy and his crew were very professional and sealed off the bathrooms top to bottom with plastic, to ensure that no hazardous material got spread. Their work was quick and thorough. After all the contaminated drywall was removed, they left the bathrooms sealed off and left a fan running to ensure that the mold was completely removed. There's times in life when you just feel like, "Why didn't I get the Memo??" Everyone involved, from the people who helped us pack up our home, to the finish carpenters who installed shelves and replaced walls, were professionals who kept the job site (our home) clean, and protected our personal property. Construction issues, both old and new, were discussed regularly and solutions were laid out before they became actual problems. Tamir's experience helped us to avoid many simple mistakes often made by homeowners. Permits were pulled and inspections were passed. I absolutely LOVE my kitchen!!!! Tommy and his crew took my design and made it a reality. My kitchen is like it's in a showroom. I contacted Tommy in 2012 for an estimate after a flood due to a water filter explosion and we kept in touch until it came time in 2016 to do the work. It was a long and arduous process, from mold and asbestos remediation, to having to redo my master bathroom which began leaking into the (thankfully) gutted kitchen (Tommy and his crew did a fantastic job on the master bathroom as well.) We recently had a toilet leak in an upstairs bathroom which caused damage to the ceiling and beautiful wood flooring in the dining room and kitchen areas below in our rental house. What started as a chance phone call has turned into a great business and personal friendship. Tommy is the president of the company and he was straight forward and honest from day one. You will not find a more genuine, sincere person in this industry. Everyone who works for him has nothing but good things to say about him, as well. The work they did in my kitchen (what we hired them for) was wonderful. He was able to negotiate with our insurance adjustor and actually got us a larger reimbursement. The work they did was outstanding, from their plumber, to their mason, et cetera. There was one issue we had - the wine rack initially installed wasn't one that we liked. Tommy is truly a lifesaver! I'd had a sewage backup and had called my insurance company because the damage was so significant. The cleanup crew the insurance company sent over inadvertently exposed partially demoed asbestos flooring and then completely demolished my entire downstairs. The settlement the insurance company had offered was not even enough for new carpet, let alone all the rebuilding and repair that was going to be required. I realized I needed a contractor and found Tommy and Pure Restoration Inc. on Angie's List. Tommy came out personally to survey the damage and said, "I will take care of everything. You won't have to deal with any of it anymore." AND HE DID!! He dealt directly with my insurance company and got them to increase the settlement to an amount that would actually cover the repairs, he oversaw all of the restoration, and he stands by his work. His crews were fantastic (showing up first thing in the morning every day and not leaving until sundown!). I have never had an experience with a contractor that went so smoothly. We first came into contact with Pure Restoration when we experienced water damage from a leaky water heater. Tommy (owner) and his crew did such an amazing job with the restoration that when it came time for me to remodel our kitchen, they were the only company I chose to contact.
