He was great to work with, always easy to reach, and answered all my questions quickly (even when I texted after normal business hours). He also helped me find the right tiles and shower fixtures at a great price. The job was done on time, the crew kept everything clean, and the quality really shows. I'm very happy with how my bathroom turned out and would definitely recommend Shawn and MDM Custom Remodeling.

I reached out to MDM back in early 2025 and met with Mike right away so he could look at my…read moreproperty and walk me through what my wife and I wanted for our project. Throughout the entire process, Mike was very professional and the level of expertise he exhibited was obvious. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Shoutout to Mario! They really respected our home and were very considerate of us during construction. Even after everything was finished, they guaranteed that they would come back and fix anything that needed fixing. Cannot recommend them enough if you want to improve or build your new home!

Writing this now because I just saw an outlet underneath the sink that's not at all mounted to the wall and was reminded of how ridiculous this whole ordeal was. They'd come maybe 2 times a week, maybe less, sit in the driveway and wait for each other for a while, and they'd always forget what they were supposed to do. Then they'd say "ah ya we remember now, gotta go to Home Depot" and take another 1-2 hours. The pace of work was incredibly slow. When they were redoing our kitchen, we came home and saw that the main handyman had bought cabinets for the sink that opened straight into the fridge and stove, so you could barely open them. It was on a corner, so clearly a corner / lazy Susan cabinet was needed. Delayed the job by however many days. They cracked the sink they put in, and there's carvings in the countertops from where they messed up with sloppy cutting. When they installed the AC window units, they stained the window panes, sink, and the outside of the house with the insulation foam and didn't attempt to clean it until I asked. They didn't get much up; still stained. They didn't put calking around the countertop they put in behind the sink. There were a bunch of other times where similar things happened that I had to ask them to redo it or do a part of the job they'd missed.

The house had a very closed-off layout, and our goal was to open it up, improve the flow, and make it feel more connected and functional for everyday living. We met with a number of contractors before moving forward, but Neev and Mai stood out immediately. They brought a level of thoughtfulness, care, and attention to detail that we didn't see elsewhere. More importantly, they really listened. It never felt like we were being pushed into a one-size-fits-all solution. They took the time to understand what mattered to us and approached the project with a clear sense of intention. Throughout the process, communication was consistent and transparent, and we always felt like we were in good hands. They also handled important upgrades behind the scenes that gave us real peace of mind, not just the visual improvements. You can tell they care about doing things the right way. Of course, like any remodel, there were moments where unexpected things came up. What really set them apart was how they handled those situations. They were calm, responsive, and solution-oriented. That level of professionalism made a big difference for us. We're honestly thrilled with how everything turned out. The house feels completely transformed. It is now open, warm, and truly enjoyable to live in. It's even better than we had imagined, and my parents couldn't be happier. We're very grateful we chose Oasis Builders and would absolutely recommend Neev, Mai, and their team to anyone considering a remodel.

There are gaps in floors, walls, bathrooms, kitchen, etc etc. Closets falling apart after more than holding 2 jackets. Warping floors with heavy damage painted over floorboards with no grout/caulk all around. Ceiling lights with gaps around with dirt/dust falling from attic every day. Toilets and bathtubs improperly installed and I've had to hire plumbers afterwards to fix his terrible work so that the bathroom is useable. Wires/pipes improperly installed on all kitchen appliances so I had to hire electricians/plumbers to fix his terrible work. Doors are installed upside down and wrong/heavy paint around so the doors don't open/close properly. Outside paint/stucco falling apart after a few weeks because he used the wrong type of paint. He used the wrong caulk/silicon all over the bathroom/kitchen so everything is ripping apart after a few weeks, or he didn't use any sealant at all, so there is water leaking into my walls. Screws/nails missing from all cabinets or random nails sticking out where I've cut my hand multiple times. Everything in the house is crooked if you take more than 5 seconds to look with a close eye in person. There is zero redeeming value. It is incredible guy still has a license and is in business. They completed a full gut renovation of our primary bathroom and a renovation of our guest bath, and the results exceeded our expectations. The tile work is absolutely gorgeous, the attention to detail is next level, and the job site was kept impeccably clean--which was especially important since my partner and I were living in the house with our dogs throughout the project. That level of thoughtfulness made a huge difference. Baldo was amazing at problem-solving and offering smart ideas and workarounds, especially given the surprises that come with an older home (ours was built in 1977). Michael was equally outstanding--always diligent, responsive, and proactive in addressing any questions or concerns I had along the way.
