Boy am I glad I went with my gut and selected Save the Trade moving! They were flexible on time, as it started to drizzle that day. However, as promised, I was the only move that day because they don't double book. So we were in communication and on the same page. These men are FAST. My house was empty in lightening speed! Every item and box was carefully placed in it's room at the destination with zero mistakes. I felt like they took extra special care of my things and would hire/recommend them in a heartbeat. Payment was super easy with online invoicing. Very transparent and no hidden fees at the end. Zavier is an excellent business owner and was present the entire time.

For the first time in my life, I decided to get some major work done on my home. Among that was a…read morenew roof, new siding, and painting. I got quote from five different companies and I have to tell you I went with them mostly on the quote. Some things were similar to other companies, but overall was less. Allen and Michael came out to look at the house and discuss the project. They were great about answering questions and sent a quote in a reasonable amount of time. I also initially request quotes for new windows and doors, but I opted to pass on these projects for now. These quotes were also more in my price range than the quotes from other companies. Roof--no problems at all. I expected the roof debris to obliterate things planted near the house, but it was much, much better than I anticipated. Roof looks amazing and it was done quite well. Siding--the quality of the siding job is great. No complaints. It looks great. Painting--this was my favorite crew. Top notch. Excellent painting job and very careful around shrubbery and such. If I could give this group 10 stars, I would. Extra costs--I see that another reviewer complained of extra costs. I read the quote, which is to be signed like a contract, and it explicity lists the exact price they charge for extra things they find. For instance, it would cost me $X for each patch they had to make in the roof decking. I knew going in that the roof would cheaper than the other quotes and this may come back to bite me in the ass. They did, find 6 damaged spots (I know they were there and fully expected at least this much), so I paid $6X extra for these. It was outlined in the quote that way, so that's fair game. PLUS, it was STILL more reasonable than the other quotes. I also elected to have new attic vents installed at the last minute. Once again, I had the option to keep the old ones, but I appreciate they could get that done as part of the work without it being an issue. Obviously a family contracting business, and I am happy to support people in my community. I have to mention that Marilyn does a great job of keeping the business moving on schedule and communicating. Easy to deal with, even when I was being wishy-washy on some things. I would recommend Therma Guard to anyone needing this type of work done!

Ryan was very reasonable and thorough when first reviewing our home, giving us pointers on things that we thought was above and beyond his call of duty but certainly appreciated as first time parents. He provided an in depth quote of anything and everything we could have done to our home but was not pushy about a single item. We ultimately had him do the basics with gates, cabinet locks and a few other items. We also appreciated that he's available to help us mov some of these items when we buy a new home within the year. Ryan was easy to communicate with for scheduling across email, phone and text. Worked well with our atypical schedule. I'd recommend him to anyone in metro Atlanta. How would this make you feel? A contractor has to do repairs…read moreon your house that the bank is paying for, so you decide you want new floors. He's only responsible for a portion of the floor and you have to pay out of your pocket for the rest. So, the installers you have to pay tells you it all needs to be done at the same time in order for the floor to look right. The contractor doesn't want to wait for you to schedule the other installers because he can't get paid until his work is done so he tells you he'll just do it all at no cost to you. He comes out and has his guys do 90% of the work and leaves a small portion undone and 1st tells you that you can let the other installers finish that (after telling you he would do it and knowing they said it had to be done at the same, thus, putting you in a bind to try to force you to use him). He then attempts to get money out of you by saying he'll finish it for a fee. The price he asks is too much but you tell him you're willing to pay his per sq. foot price (he claims he didn't hear you). Several weeks later, you call him and ask about finishing it because the other installer won't finish someone else's work, and he tell's you he's going to charge you $350 to finish it, factoring in gas and travel. How would you feel, especially considering you offered to pay the sq. foot price while he was still in your home having no need for gas or travel at that time? Here's a pic of what was left undone....I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HP HOME IMPROVEMENTS IN LAWRENCEVILLE TO ANYONE!!!!!! Every price he quoted me was AT LEAST 3 times higher than what I ended up paying someone else for the work. Word of advise, when dealing w/a contractor, try to find someone who actually gets their hands dirty. The ones that are too pretty to get their hands dirty are charging you to pay them and the people they end up getting to do the work. Just cut out the middle man and pay the actual worker!!!!!!!
