Stopped at Levittown Ford a few weeks ago while my husband and I were shopping around for a new SUV to lease. The facility is very shiny and clean and had the nicest restrooms I've ever seen in a car dealership. Unfortunately that is all the positive feedback I can give. Despite a long row of red and 'sunset' Ford Escapes, they did not have a red 2015 Escape Titanium to show us. The 2014 Escape we did get to test drive was nice, but felt cheap compared to the Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring we'd driven earlier in the day. They low-balled us by about $2000 on the vehicle we were trading in and gave us a condescending answer when we told them what other dealerships had offered. The salesperson we worked with was nice enough, but he did a lot of running back and forth to "check with his manager" and eventually brought the manager over to us so he could pressure us into leaving a deposit, even though we told him repeatedly we weren't making a decision that day because we weren't done looking at all of our options. They also talked up their VIP maintenance package, but it sounded a little too good to be true. I see from other Yelp reviews that it really was. We ended up leasing a 2015 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring from another dealership because somehow the top-of-the-line 2015 CX-5 was more affordable than a 2014 second-best Escape. The prices we were quoted on the Escape were way over what our research suggested and when we questioned the price, our salesperson couldn't give us a reason why. ("Well, it has a towing package!" If you didn't buy your car there, don't bring it there for service because they treat you like a stepchild. My experience here was just so ruined from walking in the door. I came here to look at a used car that I had researched for a while. We walked in the door to an elderly man yelling at the hostess at the door saying well that's $3000 walking out the door. I guess that should have been my sign to just leave... So we walk up to the girl and say the car and wheres its located....she looks at us and says oh its Saturday its very busy I don't know if I'll have anyone for a while to help you. Meanwhile you look around and there were tons of salesmen just standing around coffee clutching and bs-ing. I finally got to look at the car I was interested in...salesman was alright he did nothing wrong and was helpful. But I will say know your inventory, he had no idea of things wrong with the vehicle. I grew up with cars, they were not a fan of someone calling them out on defects of the car. Also why take my bank card??? There was no way of me leaving the building or getting out of this horrible experience because they were holding my bank card while trying to negotiate with me!! But by far the biggest gripe here....they have all of this American pride motif in their building....but the American flag that was on my car was literally ripped in half and destroyed. This is my first time myself or my girlfriend has been shopping for a car on our own. My girlfriend and I went to lease a car for her (trade in old lease) and finance a car for me. Typical lease negotiations they care in 70$ higher in their first offer than their second, and rushed to close the deal. Thankfully the next day before we closed, we went to Ford in Garden City and they laughed at Levittowns offer (they were only covering 3 out of 5 remaining payments on her lease trade in). Garden city beat them by 30$ and took all of her payments. We offered to Levittown to beat the price. They said they would and the deal wound up being the same, not better, and the down payment slightly more...but we accepted and got her situation finished. For my finance, I specifically asked for them not to run my credit because I wasn't positive this was the car I wanted. I shouldn't have stopped the process where it was, that's my ignorance, but I went home and had 5 hard inquiries to my credit. My salesperson, Justin, was a nice guy and non confrontational...he was willing to work and do whatever it took to make things right even though he should have heard me in the first place when I told him don't run my credit. I let it go because as a mustang owner already, I fell in love with the ecoboost they had to offer. The finance manager vinny is a different story. I called Saturday to get the total on how much cash I would be giving them to give them a final date on when I would give them the car. Never got a call back. Easter Sunday I decided to browse the internet and found an identical car with 12k miles less for a cheaper price than my negotiated price ! vinny called back on Monday and he has a tendency to speak over you when you try to say something. He did this multiple times during the lease negotiations for my girlfriend and he talks like he's on a pedestal. So when I told him on the phone that I found a car in sayville I was going to checkout before we closed this week, he started aggressively saying how them holding the car was "not fair" if I'm going to shop myself around. I told him that I'm going to find the best price possible but I liked Justin and was willing to give them my business and let them match the price, even though it had more miles. Vinny, while continuously talking over me, told me I would be paying almost 1.7k in taxes. I said okay and that i will see them this weekend (that was the tax amount on the original price, not our negotiated price so check your numbers, they will not change it and act like it was an honest mistake). 5 minutes later vinny called me aggressively saying he would be refunding my deposit because it's not fair that I can shop around for cars because "we could sell this car". I tried to ask him some questions and make a comment back to him and he spoke over me without hesitation (my coworker laughed because I put him on speakerphone to hear how he was speaking to me). This guy needs someone to teach him how to LISTEN and not SPEAK. I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone looking to have honest negotiations. I have all my girlfriends lease paperwork. I have some concerns about their honesty over there so let's hope they don't start fudging numbers ! read more

Followed their protocol to recieve "VIP" price, they sent me an itemized list that provided a total price including taxes and fees. Once I arrived at the dealership, did they honor their price? NO! they stated that it was a special vehicle and that there was a $15,000 premium associated with that particular car. When presented with the e-mail, they prceeede to tell me that there was a disclaimer yhat provided them with the option to back out of any price that had been previously sent to me(by them!). what's the point of going through the process online if they were never going to honor the price that they came with? My biggest problem was that there was no apology, no regret for wasting my time, just a digression to legal small print and disregard for any business etiquette. Take your hard earned money elsewhere, there are plenty of honorable car dealerships with integrity and accountability. read more

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. So Zero Stars. Ever since 2013 when I bought my vehicle from Levittown Ford, I had been taking it to get serviced there. At first when they were new, service was good. That lasted a relatively short time. The service has progressively gotten worse and worse at a very fast pace. I just recently brought my vehicle in (for what seems to be the millionth issue I've had with this steaming pile of crap) because of a potentially serious issue that just started that day. Not good. I was told I needed an appointment so I was refused service on the vehicle I bought from them. I said to the check in guy, "Let me get this straight, I basically need to have a geenie in a bottle who predicts the future that I can ask when my car will have issues so I can make an appointment in the future so I can have it fixed?!?!" His reply was basically "yes". Not the right answer. Not good service. I can go on about other poor experiences I have had there (which are numerous) but there's no point. My advice is to steer clear from this service station and dealer in general. Though this recent experience there wasn't the first, it is the last. I also will never purchase a Ford ever again. They didn't have the Ford Escape 2015 that was advertised for $199/month. I ended up leasing a different model S for a fair price. They tried to add all kinds of fees to jack up the lease price which I refused. All dealers pull the same stunt. The wait time could and should be improved. It took me more than 2.5 hours to finalize the deal. I would probably lease from them again. read more

The service people are first rate with customers but I dislike the Ford Fusion I bought and the mechanics here cannot seem to find the problem with the car which is electrical and possibly a serious safety issue. So rating the service center is mixed as I think I'm rating the repair quality (terrible as they can't find the problem) and the customer-facing people (excellent as they are nice and courteous and thorough). When arrived was told truck was not on lot but used car manger would call following day when it came back from shop. Never received call so I followed up. I then received emails from Giovanna and was told still in shop as being looked at by certified techs and there was back up in work but was assured someone would call me. I followed up a couple more times without being contacted to then finally get response from Giovanna that vehicle was sold. This was a 10 plus day process. I bought my new 2019 Ford Escape in January of 2021. It was in the showroom. It was a leftover model. I lucked out when i bought my Escape with the great price I got it for. My sales person was Maya. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. She guided me through the whole car buying experience with her patience and kindness, and she explained all my options. I bought a care here back in October 2014 & the overall experience was subpar. Day 1 when I walked in to look around everyone was nice & couterious. The sales guy I worked with seemed to know what he was talking about. I ended up buying a Mustang. Day 2 I ended up sitting there for around 2 & a half hours when I was told to pick up my car. The sales guy then turned out to be a sarcastic prick & took it upon himself to insult my girlfriend & her car a number of times. I didn't know this was a sales technique that Ford teaches. It wasn't until I got up to walk out & cancel the entire sale that he then changed his attitude. On top of it all, I ended up paying way too much for the VIP service to which I see others have done the same. That was my mistake. Just a horrible place & I will not be returning. read more

I have leased a FORD Escape SE for 24 months. Ford dealership has sent me vouchers, coupons from 3-4 months before the lease ending period to get me down to make a new deal, that deal never existed. Each time I went there dealt with different salesmen. Last one was Bob we made the deal on a car they could not locate for over 4 hours. We went from their lot to another then to service lot they have no cars there! Two days ago Bob calls me up telling me they have located the car, I get suckered in to go to wrap up the deal. Turns out he never had the mentioned car BAIT and switch, does not work BOB! Walking over to manager thinking he will listen to our situation was a waste of total time. I walked over to him telling him I am sorry to ask for your help but got the lousiest treatment . I will NEVER BUY OR LEASE A FORD from THIS PLACE. At the end I told them be little more polite, in retail we are always told customer is always right! Your clients pay your salary, he goes no you don't , can you then tell me how you get paid from FORD? If no buyers how will you get paid I wonder? Rebates from Ford are NEVER honored in this place, there are tons of dealers out there your loss is another dealers GAIN! Levittown Ford took in my Explorer for a repair to the sunroof and left the truck outside in the rain. They had the SUV for 7 weeks waiting for a part, when I got it back not only were the carpets still wet, there was mold growing in my console and bugs living in the carpet. Repeated calls to the service manager went unanswered and to this day Levittown Ford has made NO move to repair the damage they caused. read more

Normally car buy is a mile's walk through hell just to get to that little slice of heaven where you are finally sitting in your new car. That wasn't the case here. I've been a part of car negotiations for 3 new cars... This one was by far the smoothest. I ended up custom ordering a 2013 Fusion Hybrid Titanium, and it was a trouble free process. The price was a few hundred higher than the other dealerships, but their VIP program was worth it. The sales tactics were non-existent. My sales guy (Dan K.) was not pushy at all. And of course, anyone who's bought a car knows about the nightmare of sitting in the finance manager's office to do that last minute paper work... Where they try to sell you on a billion things you really don't want... That didn't happen here either. Bottom line is I would go back... And I would recommend friends or family without hesitation. read more

Warning! Be careful and PLEASE ask important easy to answer questions when purchasing or leasing from Levittown Ford. I visited this dealership with the intentions of getting a competitive price quote on a Ford Ranger XLT package (roughly $41,000 msrp). I was willing to sign a deal if my numbers could have been met, which I made sure the first salesperson knew when I came in. I was prepared with other quotes from other dealers, as well as having a bit of knowledge on what dealerships should and should not be charging you. It was clear after about an 1 1/2 hours the manager was not going to give me an itemized breakdown of all the charges I would be charged for this vehicle. The few things he eventually gave had fees I should not have to pay for (DOC fee and protection fee to name a couple). When I asked about the bank ARP % loan cost, he said the estimate was at 6% cost! I told him my credit was excellent, over 760. The other dealerships quoted me bank APR% at 3% and 3.25% respectively. The Levittown Ford manager ( no name necessary) said we don't know your credit rating and we don't run credit checks. My gut instinct is Levittown Ford has a huge markup (2-3 points) when getting these lease loans for customers. If he was an honest human being I would of asked him what the dealerships markup was, but I knew from the answers he gave to my previous questions, he would of deflected the question or just been untruthful. It's very unfortunate how certain dealerships play this game which entails a customer to wait (purposely) for over 30 minutes at a time, every time you ask them to get more information/explanation of charges. When you know they have the information and can look it up in minutes! As the other reputable Ford dealerships had done so for me when I asked the same info/explanation. I only hope you ask questions. I assure you, their first and second price quotes have huge an unnecessary profits built in to those prices. We purchased a 2019 Ford Fusion at this location while the sales experience was okay, the overall experience with the car for the first year has been horrible. The car when bought had about 2k miles on it and since then we have been at the service department with transmission leaks, break issues, mechanical issues. Buying a new car for me had always been a whirlwind of emotions. On the one hand I'm super psyched about the idea of having a new toy (and yes toy is the right word because there is no difference in emotion or thought process from when I was 6 years old and saving for weeks for my BigTrak remote control tank). And on the other you have the anxiety of the impending "sales experience". I'm 46 now (married with 3 kids) and have owned about 8 or so new cars. I feel I can sum up cars dealerships in one sentence. Don't go looking for the best, instead try and find the one that sucks the least. Levittown ford is not the bottom of the barrel but it's pretty close. The building itself is top notch. Bright, clean, and very professional looking. I stood by the reception desk for about 10 mins on my 1st visit watching about a dozen or so sales reps walk by me without as so much as a nod. Ian got back to his desk and saw me standing there and asked if I needed help. If I could break my review down I would give my sales rep 5 stars and everything else 1. Ian treated me more like a friend and I appreciated that. Our conversations were very low pressure but informative. He is the only reason I actually wound up buying from Levittown Ford. It's clear to me that they give there reps very little latitude because I think he had to check with his manager to go to the bathroom. Subsequently it made the sales process take forever. If you're looking to make a speedy purchase look elsewhere. For the most part the sales process is the typical tug of war and yes your should expect the typical games that dealership play. Must finance through us and pay 4% interest with a 785 credit rating!!!!!!!! Agree to one price but when you get there it miraculously changed and strangely always in there favor. Worst experience ever from the Levittown Ford Sales manager. I wish I knew he was so unprofessional. Took two weeks to return a request from his salesman and another week to leave me a message. Followed by days of message leaving at his office only to get an actual telecom on the 31st day after the sale....Run please don't waist your time, energy and hard earned money in a Pre owned vehicle. They were written promises to be repaired that never were on the day of pick up even though they had it for an extra week - than told it's all done and personally looked it over to confirm the work was complete. The car has broken done twice an expenses total $2k. I do not feel confident driving any longer. Not a good position to have when you just don't know if you'll arrive at you destination. Being a woman, there seems to always be a need to bring a guy with you to get the best deal but not here. Although my husband was with me, all the reps were friendly and spoke to me (it was my purchase after all). They were knowledgable and respectful and gave me the best deal on my lease. Dan Krauciunas from Levittown Ford is hands down THE BEST car salesperson I've ever dealt with. Friends of mine spoke so highly of him, and true to their word, he was great. Answered every single question, helped me understand my options, and never pushy. Just purchased my new Escape - it was a great deal and the *exact* car I wanted, option for option. None of the "well we don't have it in stock" argument - they noted what I was looking for and was able to find it and swap vehicles with another dealership to get me the exact vehicle I desired. Their initial trade-in offer was lower than I had been hoping for, but I'd done my research and backed it up with print-outs from three different sources. They were able to come back with a fair price for my trade and still worked out a great deal for the Escape. No trying to make up the trade difference by some new "options" out of the blue. I love a good "bait and switch," when language is used in such a manner, that you are led to believe something that really isn't true. We often see this in advertisements; they are a normal part of dealing with car sales. What I do not like is an outright lie. The employment and management at Levittown Ford excel at lying and they are quite disgraceful. We spoke on the phone to their sales rep. He promised to meet us at 6:00pm and agreed to an "out the door" price. Conveniently enough, upon our arrival, the sales rep was not there, and a new salesman had to handle our deal. Essentially, he was hired to negate the phone call we had made an hour ago. He had clear mastery of the language to use to put the blame on us. He used terminology like "totally mistaken", "hard of hearing" and, of course, he wanted us to produce "written evidence." Well done Levittown Ford! Your deceit and deception outrank almost every dealer I have ever worked with. They are, to put it plainly, professional liars. Ironically enough, I even think they will see this review as a point of pride for their staff-room bulletin board. One of three things will happen after this review is posted: they will flood a bunch of generic fake positive reviews to sink what I wrote (look above to see if it's happened yet) or they will try to justify their dishonesty. Or perhaps they will claim it was a mistake. But, Levittown Ford should take some credit for their deceit. They are so good at it! I requested an appointment with Frank the other day and he was so amazing. We looked at cars for hours and he gave me his honest opinion about my options. I decided on a car at which point he brought Jason over to help with financing. After getting the paperwork in order I suddenly had a change of heart. I told Jason and Frank that I needed to walk away and I was bracing myself for them to be upset with me. It was totally the opposite, they were so supportive of my decision and made me feel at ease. The Ford Levittown Service Department, Quick Lane Service, is the worst car service Department I have ever experienced. I brought the car in for a vehicle inspection and to repair a flat tire. Brought the car in to the Quick Lane on a Wednesday morning and left it there. I waited for hours to hear back from the Quick Lane but didn't hear back for hours. I tried to call amen times the Quick Lane and no one picked up the phone. Then when I finally got a call back they said the the lugs on one of my tires had to be repaired and that they needed parts that wouldn't be in until the next day, but probably not in the morning. So I said fine but call call me to keep me posted. They never did. I hadn't heard back by 3 pam the next day. I tired calling for hours and no one picked up the phone. I sent an nasty e-mail to the General manager (GM) and Service manager (SM). I am still waiting to hear back from the service manager. Right after I sent the nasty email I coincidentally heard back from the quick lane service person who said I could pick up my at 5 pm. On the way there I got a telephone call from the General Manager who gave me a bland "sorry". After I picked up my car and was driving out of the parking lot it was making a horrible noise and felt like I was driving over a rumble strip. I went right back and e-mailed the GM and SM about the situation - no response. A mechanic came out and looked at my car and said that they didn't put my tire back on correctly. It was loose. I e-mailed the GM and SM again about the fact that the Service Department gave me back my car in an unsafe condition. Neither the GM or SM bothered to respond to my e-mail or call me about the fact that I was given a car in a dangerous condition. In my opinion. pathetic and horrible service. In my opinion, completely disinterested. Just surf the internet and look at their reviews. Consistently the same bad reviews. Obviously I am NEVER going back there. read more

Had a deal worked out. Boy was I wrong. Spoke with the finance guy Adam Diaz and he was a complete ass. Arguing and being confrontational about our appointment to sign and drive. And when I informed him about the mistake he possibly made with my deal he could care less. Basically telling me he gave me a rebate that didn't work and when I was ready to sign the price would increase. Making it my problem I was given the lower price, and I would have to make up the difference for their mistake. And I quote him saying "Well, balls in your court, you have to pay the difference" (not word for word) Needless to say I am taking my business elsewhere. Levittown Ford hello this is Mr Thomas's mother in law myself and my husband were with him when he first purchased the car and when he picked it up. This is in response to levittown fords comment On Gineen Thomas review. When we first purchased it and drew up the deal the total out of pocket was said to include everything except D.M.V. fees. He left a 500$ deposit and was only given the receipt for that never received or saw a buyers order until pick up. And of course since you enjoy scamming honest people none of that was told to him until after he signed off on his leased vehicle he was returning. Therefore leaving him with no car if he would have left as he wanted to that night. Please do not continue with anymore lies. Damage is done enough said! read more

I drove over an hour to see a car at this dealership. I inspected the car and the first red flag was the sound of the engine, it did not sound good at all. I later on asked the car salesman Steven Manfredo if i could test drive it, then he goes like "you have to be 24 to test drive our cars". I never have heard such a thing. That must be their "our car is broken policy". Steven is also a very rude person, has a short temper and started speeding in their work car. Very unpleasant and unprofessional experience. read more

I brought my Ford Explorer sport in for a defective door panel and I had issues with the radio turning off on its own. The staff was nice. Their policy on loaners was a little weird, especially the one about no ez-pass. Not a good one especially since I had a jets game to go to. The loaner was another explorer which was nice, but it was disgusting. So dirty I had to get it washed twice just to sit in it. It look like no one ever washed it and the last guy that used it work in a body shop because there was oil all over it. Not two days after I got my SUV back, the radio turned off on it own. So upset because I asked the service guy several times about the radio and what they did to fix it. Now I have to go back. I'm hoping they do better. read more
