Unfortunately, they didn't have my (slightly uncommon) size, but he let me know they were in stock online. I trusted him and we put in an online order. Just a few days later the jeans showed up at my house and they are absolutely perfect! Levi's return policy SUCKS. Bought items online and one of them was damaged. Brought it (along with the packaging ) for an exchange. Clerk said no problem. They a return for the damaged item and then when they did the exchange it was twice the price of the damaged one. They have been on the phone for over an hour with support. Worst customer service i have ever experienced. They can't make a simple exchange. read more

This is great clothing store. Levi's is my favorite jean and denim brand, so I'm really happy there's a full blown store in Emeryville. I came here to restock on my favorite line of jeans (as my previous ones are starting to break down after years of wearing). Upon entering I was greeted right away and the sales clerk offered to help me find what I want. But I declined because I prefer to look through clothes by myself. Most of the denim jeans and jackets I felt seemed high quality: thick fabric that felt sturdy and strong. I found the jean line I wanted at the size I needed and (although I was tempted to get others) I stuck with them and got two jeans. At check out the cashier was friendly and rung me up quickly. Legit Levi's jeans have lasted me for years, so pretty sure these will last for a long time too (but we will see). Also this store accepts trade-in/donations of your old Levi's denim, which I love. I'm glad more companies are embracing reusing fabrics/clothing so they just don't wind up in landfills. So I plan on bringing in my old Levi's jeans here to donate. I had an A+ experience here this week! My favorite pair of jeans, a pair of Levi's selvedge denim, unfortunately developed a small hole in the crotch area. Since selvedge denim is expensive, and I'd developed about 2 years worth of organic "sick fades," I knew I had to get this hole repaired instead of just scrapping these jeans, lol. I found out about the "darning" process online, and found out that this store's tailor shop was able to do it, so I decided to pay them a visit. I met AB in the tailor shop, and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He quoted me $30 to repair the hole and to provide some reinforcement in the crotch area of the jeans. I thought this price was fair, especially since it would just cost me a fraction of what it would cost to replace the exact pair of jeans. After a quick 4 day turnaround, I came back to the store and picked up my jeans, and am totally satisfied! You can't even tell the jeans were repaired, unless you look super close up! Also, the extra reinforcement gives me confidence that I'll be able to wear these jeans for years to come. These guys are awesome, and I'll definitely come here for any future denim alterations or repairs! Totally recommended! read more

An employee offered to order a size of sale jeans that they did not have in stock and assured me that the jeans would be refundable within 60 days. The emailed receipt made no reference to final sale, but when I returned the jeans, the employee who I believe to be the manager (who had been on a personal phone call for the first five minutes that I was in the store), refused to refund my credit card and would only give me a store credit. She acted as if she was doing me a favor although it was her employee who apparently gave me the incorrect information about returns. It seems that when he ordered the correct size, that was considered an online order and that was not returnable. Terrible customer service and I'm now stuck with a store credit for a store to which I would prefer not to return. read more

Came in here yesterday to use my 75$ gift card here I have had for forever in my wallet. They had a sale that was 30% off jeans if you bought two pairs or more and I absolutely love Levi's jeans but haven't bought a new pair for myself since highschool so that was like 5 years ago. Ended up buying three pairs and the new jeans have gotten so much better with being able to stretch so you can really get a lot more flexibility with jeans now. I like to wear skinny cut so works even better for me because I can wear the style I like but not sacrifice comfort. Real shout out to Naboo (hope I remembered this name right) and the rest of the staff there on Thursday night because they all were super nice and helpful and I must of tried on like 30 different pairs of jeans because I don't know my size and really wanted to make sure I got the right pairs. They answered all my questions and didn't look to frustrated for helping me put back all my clothes that I didn't buy even though if I was in their position I would be. This place is a joke. Found a pair of jeans I liked. Men's 502's but of course they didn't have them in the size and color combination I wanted but were happy to order me a pair and have them sent to my house which was good customer service I suppose. But then I asked about the price... Over $80!!! Walked right out the door, went to the Levi's website hours later and got the same exact jeans in the size I needed but for $37 shipped. Use this store to try on items, that is if they even have what you're looking for in stock which is unlikely, if you must, but NEVER purchase anything here. Nearly everything in this store is also available on Amazon for half the price new and they have an amazing return policy. Those jeans I got are also on Amazon for $41. read more

I came to Emery Bay to see a movie. I dropped in the Levi Store wearing the Leather Jacket I bought 7 months ago. I spoke with Andrew, the assistant manager again. I also also liked the modified-denim trucker jacket for bicyclist I purchase last time. I spoke to the denim tailor, Sabrina. The store has a tailor section that provide custom embroidery, alterations & repairs. When I do meet and greets with UC Berkeley students & Alumni for the career center/Alumni Assoc, I Recommend the Emrery Bay mall as a more gentle and safe environment over telegraph Avenue. There is a free shuttle bus from MacArthur BART station to Emery Bay and return. If you're in the area I recommend people check out the Levi store where you go to the Apple store or go to the AMC movie theater. read more

Love Cayla at the Levi's Bay Street Taylor Shop. She's a skilled miracle worker. I took in 3 pairs of jeans, 2 with worn knees that were repaired so you'd really have to examine to find the repair. I thought the 3rd pair would be a total loss. But Cayla repaired the torn pocket, inseam and worn seat so beautifully you would never guess what they looked like before. Excellent service with a great smile. And repairing jeans is environmentally responsible. read more

Love Levi's but the customer service here is atrocious compared to other locations. Folks working here don't seem interesting in actually helping people. I was abandoned in a dressing room with no one there to assist me in getting a different size. I tried getting someone's attention, but they were too busy socializing. Every time I stop by Bay St. I always make an effort to visit this establishment. I wear this brand religiously, on a daily basis, the clothing is always good quality and the staff has constantly been great, except for today. Today (07/23/2020) my GF and I swung by because we noticed the 70% percent off marks being advertised. During checkout, my GF mistakenly grabbed a pair that were not on sale, she runs back to find a pair that was on sale and heads back to the cash register to correct the purchase. As she arrives at the cashier, she apologizes for the mistake and one of the employees, (female, white, about 5'5" wearing all black, black facemask chit-chatting with the tailor a lot) scoffs at her, laughs and walks away, making her feel bad for grabbing the incorrect pair. This to me is very unprofessional and leaves me with a negative cognition for the future. Who doesn't like a good sale over full price? Shout to the girl in the front working the men's section for helping me look for pants size and the guy at the register who helped me check out and his dope grey/blue jacket! read more

As I read the reviews on here I saw half of them were negative.... but i can't see how this staff of characters could get such bad credit! Out of all the Levi's I shopped, this one is by far the best service, probably due to the small size. Also don't forget to get your jeans tailored here!! The small brunette tailor was so sweet and hemmed my 501's perfectly. For some who is 5'2 I always depend on getting my pants tailored and knowing they are just a drive away is great. There's people in the world that do a job just to do a job because they have to. Then there's people out there that are passionate about the job they do despite their hierarchy or compensation. Then there's people out there like AB that are more than passionate about what they do despite everything and go above and beyond to its extreme. AB after meeting him after a few minutes, I knew he was a special individual. You can tell he's always putting his all into his work and not only that, his creative senses take over so his customers are always coming back for more. That's exactly what happened to me. I brought one pair of pants. He told me he just started working there less than a month so I was a little skeptical and praying to the tailor Gods that he doesn't screw up my brand new pair of jeans. AB not only did a great job with my jeans but offered to re do the job if in any case there was even a minuscule revision. I then dropped off 5 more pairs of jeans which included AB patching up my favorite pair of jeans that I haven't worn in years. I won't be needing to buy jeans anytime soon because I went from having 1 good pair of jeans to wear but now a total of 6 great pair of jeans thanks to AB. With the aspirations he has for his career, I know in no time he will reach those goals. Keep up the good work sir! Specifically, I always get help from Jason who never hesitates to help me find the right size I need as well as make recommendations and introduce me to all the new arrivals in store. The inventory is poor and they have not carried a variety of lengths-- for example, there were no 34 length available in any jeans I tried on. Further more, the retail staff is HORRID. My sister was doing jeans fitting and on our way out, she really liked the jean shirts she was seeing and wanted to ask about them. Without even listening to her question, and first and only thing I heard was "you gotta leave now, we are closed". Checked my clock, it was literally 8:02pm. She wouldn't even listen to a question from 13 year old, she just kicked us out. Hands down, the worst retail staff and experience I have ever encountered. If you care more about locking down the store to the minute than potentially selling another item last minute, you know you shouldn't be working there. read more

My grandson was really looking forward to picking up his new jean jacket with about 8 patches sewn on. Unfortunately, it got hidden behind other merchandise and even though promised, wasn't ready. The young man helping us was as disappointed as we were. But, no problem, he asked if we could give him 45 minutes to complete the job. We came back after grabbing dinner and there he was working away, almost finished! In the end we left with the jacket, beautifully sewn on patches, and feeling like we had a new friend! I'm very disappointed at the poor customer service. I walked into this store for it is new in Emeryville. I was taken aback at the lack of acknowledgment that I received from the associates. It was even more surprising when two other customers walked in literally a minute after me to how well received they were. I don't want to make this a race issue but it's hurtful and disappointing that a store that claims to be versatile can lack in areas such as equal customer service.
