This is for an Aug 30 visit around 4 PM. There were two employees that were unwelcoming and awful. My elderly relative sat to wait for her grandchildren and the two employees tagged team to ask her why she was sitting there...basically being eagle eyed on her. Stood by her the entire time. Absolutely rude even when she told them she was waiting for her family to pick their shoes. I am absolutely shocked that this happened and your store needs to train employees much better. Even after the purchase was made and she told them this is my family purchasing the pair of shoes, not a word of apology or acknowledgement. That was absolute discriminatory behavior from your employees. read more

This is definitely a great store for Converse fans!! I'm not a huge converse guy, but I always rocked the Chuck Taylors occasionally, the originals. They also had a lot of nice shirts in here, and the prices were very reasonable!! Good store, I try and stop in here whenever I'm at the Marina Square Shopping Center!! read more

It had to take three visits to finally write a review. (Insert chuckle here.) If you're a Converse fiend (c'est moi!) and you happen to be around this area, this is THE place to shop for the brand! It may not have as much as the ones located in bigger outlets, but I find a deal each time I come through. I pretty much have all the colors of the classics, and email updates show they are now coming up with new styles. I figure I'd come by and check to see if this particular store had any. And what great timing: any clearance item (which was probably 90% of their merch) was 30% off across the board. Needless to say, I didn't come out of the store empty handed. Overall store was organized and clean. Staff was very friendly. I really like this store! Looking forward to the next visit! Here's hoping for more bargain buys then! read more

Busy for u the holidays but they do a great job keeping the store clean. There's practically no lines at all. Great customer service from Sonjia checking an item for me over the phone before I took a long drive. Then when i arrived, friendly welcome to all customers. She's very friendly and helpful. Thanks Mauro as well for great customerserviceas well. You both made my experience great! They always have excellent customer service and get you in & out read more

Just passed through. I was considering Chuck Taylor lows in red. The Berkeley High Reunion Picnic is in a few weeks and thought I might go wearing OG school colors. Not much of a color selection of traditional Chucks. Black and white colors and out of the most popular sizes. No red. There is a large choices in other styles and colors. All neatly arranged by size. One friendly guy working multiple customers. A clean store, but not what I'm looking for. read more

amazing staff! workers are super friendly and willing to check the back for additional sizes

The store I visited though nice wasn't helpful. they had tones of good I give them 7/10 Great customer service skills 10. Glad I stopped but rather shop at thrift stores. Glad your not near us in Sonora California so I'm not tempted. Sorry not going back . Loved store though. Mystery B. Sonora California 95370. read more

I will NOT come to this store unless they are having a holiday sale. They charge way too much, despite being a clearance store, for canvas and rubber shoes. Come on. Yesterday, I did swoop up some pretty cute chucks. The Memorial Day sale is buy one, get one free. So, I got a basic pair of black chucks for work and regular use, and then a more fashionable and unique pair with a striped wool-like fabric. The staff was very accommodating. Not even two minutes in, and an employee was asking how I was, notified me of the sale, and was attentive in checking up on me throughout my 30 minute visit, about three times. Not too much, just the right amount of support. Converse are a staple for me, me having flat feet and all, and being a middle school teacher... duh. So, I will probably return, but as stated above, you will not see me here besides those holiday weekends! read more

So I came here hoping I can find an off-white/ cream/ tan hi-tops. SCORE! I found the last pair in my size which was 50% off. I was tempted to buy 2 but I was able to restrain myself. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a variety of selection that fits my taste and good price like the elusive dainty ox that I once bought for $11. Wooow! They also have great choices for toddler shoes, men's/women's shirts/sweater and bags: from backpacks to gym bags. I have learned from this store not to pay full price for my chucks ever again. Will come back here for more! read more

Excellent customer service. Arrived a few minutes to 10:00am. Store opened promptly at 10:00am. Only 2 people working the store this morning. However they greeted us with a smile. Asked if we had any questions. One of the guys(wish I got his name) helped both of my daughters find the sizes they were looking for. He even went in the back and pulled out some newer stock to see if my girls were interested. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. read more

Very unfriendly man, hurrying us up to leave the store prior to be 10 mins to closing. Felt rushed to shop and very unprofessional, the tall guy probably a manager or something, horrible service. read more

Who doesn't love Chuck Taylors? I love them so much I have 5 or more pairs. My mini-me has to rock black shoes with her uniform so she was due for a new pair of Chucks. I had 20 minutes to spare between errands so I headed to the outlet at Marina Square. My good parking karma was in full effect so I grabbed a spot a few steps away from the door and walked in. The shoes are arranged by size and color so I quickly found the black kids' shoes. Stock was plentiful despite the back to school crowd. I grabbed my shoes and paid in cash and was out the door in minutes. Why no fifth star? I had hoped for a deeper discount but the shoes cost what they might at Kohl's. Still, this is preferable to braving the malls or big box stores this time of year. read more

This is a shout out to Jenna Silva who works at the Converse store. I think that is the best service I've ever gotten from a person who works at a shoe store! She was incredibly helpful in finding just the right shoes for my impending foray into powerlifting. And not only that, she was so excited for me! I never would've found the right shoes had it not been for her. Had to wait quite a while for someone else who works in the store to come to the cash register to cash me out, but that's what Words With Friends on my iPhone is for..... (wake up you other clerks...) Promote Jenna please! She is awesome. read more

I'm giving this four stars because there is rarely a place, if ever, where the kids and I can all go in to buy shoes, and actually find some we like and under the same roof. Usually i have to go here, and she has to go somewhere else, and he... you get the picture. It is cheaper for the older styles, but hey they were all new to me. They seem to be holding up very well too. The people who work there are very helpful and available. I don't know the managers name, and I wish i did, because she's very helpful and has great energy. Its the woman with the cheek piercings, she knows everything Converse. Seriously. Anyway, big parking lot, coffee across the way, what more could i ask for? read more

So yesterday(7/7/18) I went into the CONVERSE (San Leandro, CA) (CONVERSE) to exchange some shoes because I got the wrong size, and when I got in I asked the guy at the counter(white guy) about exchanging. He asked if I had my receipt and I said no, he responded with "Ok, cool." After going to get the correct size, a younger female(white) was at the desk and put my things on the counter. She explained that I wasn't going to be able to refund(the same amount I paid) or get the same value because I didn't have my receipt. In my head, I was upset at myself for forgetting the receipt at home. I said aloud, but to myself..."This is some bullshit...that's like $20..." I turned back around and was at the counter facing the female. Well about 3.5 seconds later this dude(black) comes to the desk and ask me in a very aggressive and overbearing way, "So you cussing my employees out?" Clearly, in my head I didn't....so I looked at him right in his eye and said, "What are u talking about? I ain't cuss nobody out." He responded, "So my employee is a liar?" Clearly I wasn't understanding what he was talking about. I then questioned the employee if I cussed "AT" her, she responded with you did cuss. Because I'm a much bigger person than her, and clearly a better "Leader" her BOSS, who's name is Eric(He soon after informed me of who he was), I said, "Obvisously you took what I said out of context, in addition, I wasn't even talking to you...I was mad at myself for forgetting the receipt at home. And because of your failure to be able to notice that, I'll apologize." Eric, the BOSS then starts explaining the stores procedures ect ect, not like it was necessary, and then came his introduction of who he was. The point is, that interaction could have went completely wrong! Had I felt like he was attacking me, which more than likely any other person may have.....They would have responded and it wouldn't have been very nice at all. As a STORE MANAGER, ERIC should understand their is a way to approach customers when their is an issue....and he needs to keep in mind as a STORE MANAGER how he comes off. Eric is about 6'2, roughly 230-240lbs, niecely toned....attractive black dude...but looks could be mistakingly as "MEAN" lookin'....and overly aggressive. Without an apology for the misunderstanding, Eric walked off....I'm not sure if he is ready for such a position that deals with the public. I know in my managerial position, I deal with different personalities everyday...and might I add different nationalities! And normally for a much longer period...Eric could use a few pointers! He can call me and I'll give him a few. Sadly, I thought he was a very attractive fella...Not so much now. Signed, A Customer, that shops at CONVERSE (San Leandro, CA). read more

Converse Factory Store - The most amazing Mother's Day Gift. I absolutely love Converse!!!!!!! - Shoe Stores Near Me - San Leandro, California

Came here today (Sunday) afternoon to buy a pair of white high top chucks. They pretty much have every single size of chucks so they're pretty well stocked. I did not have a hard time finding my size as every shelf was pretty organized and clean. Found my size, tried it on and heard the sales associate behind me helping a family with a little girl trying on some chucks. Now this sales associate was super informational for that girl because I heard the little girl saying she wanted a smaller size and the sales associate really instilled on her that getting at least half a size up would be better because she was of course a growing young girl! You go sales associate! I wish there were more sales associates like her who kept it real. It wasn't too busy when I came in and the line at the register was short. Plan to come back!! read more

Found this place on a lark. I was able to find the kids the black monochrome cons for school that they'd been clamoring for. With my first purchase I received a short survey on my receipt. I was able to do the survey online from my iPhone and get a discount code for 20% off. Yay! 20% off already discounted merch is great! Salesfolks were kind and helped us find the sizes we needed quickly. Going back to do some Christmannukwanzasolstice shopping! read more

I came here with my bf in hopes of finding myself a pair of low top red Converse. Love this location staff is always friendly. They have an interesting selection of converse as well as your standard colors for a discounted price. They always have great deals during the holidays. This is definitely one of the better outlet stores in the immediate area. The staff here is always friendly, helpful, and quick to let you know of any deals going on within the store. They have a gigantic inventory of every Converse item that you could possibly need, and they are usually running some kind of promotion every week. If you are in the market for hard to find "Chucks" or just want to get fitted from head to toe in their gear, stop by and let them hook you up :) read more

Recently went to the converse Clearance Store to get myself some jack Purcell's. When I walked in I was greeted by the girl up front. I was also greeted when I walked to the back. Started looking around and I was able to find some jack Purcell's and some other interesting chucks they had. The short Hispanic girl named Amanda, was very helpful and knowledgeable about the shoes I was looking for . She also did let me know about the sale. Which was buy one get one free!! I ended up leaving with 2 pairs of shoes when my intentions were just one pair. Overall, this converse store has the best selection of shoes at a really great price. Definitely will be coming back :) thanks Amanda ! read more

I am seriously obsessed with anything Converse. I love the fact that there are a million and one options. I come here maybe once a month and everytime I come back they have different styles. Of course you can always find the classics though. The employees are always very friendly and helpful. Nothing negative at all to say. The only thing I may have to say is be prepared to drive around looking for parking if you come here during the weekend. Even though it is a huge parking lot, Converse is in a shopping center and it is always packed!! read more

I went in expecting to leave with something like 3 basic pairs. Left with 13 for the same price as two pairs of nikes. Bargain FTW!

I have to say the gentleman who greeted us when we entered the store was very friendly and helpful! There were 2 tables in the front of the store stocked with low top and high top Chuck Taylors. They were marked at $29.99 plus the shoes on these tables were eligible for the buy 1, get the 2nd for 50% off promo (a lot of other newer styles were not eligible). The hubby picked out a pair of black high tops and I picked out a pair of black low tops (both from the tables). The gentleman I described earlier rung us up and let us know that the soles of the shoes we were purchasing were non-marking soles which meant they didn't have the linen fabric like the regular shoes. Apparently, this is some slight defect that didn't bother us, so we made our purchase anyway. I've worn my shoes once and haven't noticed a problem at all. In fact, without that linen material, I think they are not as slippery on the bottom which I like. The total for both pairs was $49 with tax! Score! Minus 1 star because like I said, a lot of the newer styles were not eligible for the buy 1, get the 2nd for 50% off promo . read more

Not a huge selection, but AMAZING prices. Didn't find what I was looking for, but I found something cute regardless.

I love this store!! The parking does really suck BUT really good quality and prices for an outlet. I have been looking for a specific pair of shoes decently priced since it is the holidays (without looking super cheap lol) and the young woman, I believe jenna, was awesome!! Her customer service skills are amazing since I am not a big shopper and can be very hurried when helped!!
