I absolutely adored the vision that is Bella Vita…read more Walking in, I was taken in by the most amazing collection of barrettes I've ever seen. They had barrettes shaped like animals and fruit and adorable little hair claws shaped like bat wings. Bella Vita also boasted absolutely adorable pastel party decor for the girly girl at heart. The service was friendly and helpful, and I loved their overall selection of fanciful accessories. I will most definitely be back!

This is a local boutique shop that's filled with lots of unique, high-quality apparel, accessories, and gifts for women and children. My sister, who lives in the neighborhood, has been a regular for years. She introduced my wife and me to this delightful place during our last trip to Oakland. We visited on an ordinary Monday afternoon. Owner Jennifer was the only one working at the time. She was friendly. She and my sister know each other from my sister's visits. Jennifer was also helping a couple women at the dressing rooms. The store was sizable, clean, and well organized. It had a homey, curated feel to it. I could tell a lot of thought had been put into each and every product, not only by Jennifer, but by the people who made them. If you're having trouble finding a good gift for a woman/girl, Bella Vita has many interesting and novel items to choose from. They also offer online ordering for pickup in-store or shipping to the lower 48 states. Rana has a unique and wonderful eye for finding the coolest fashion from around the world…read more I treasure my collection of the outfits I've acquired from Chic over many years. Dressing up is fun and provides me with extra motivation to keep getting out to do interesting things...

I texted her (due to COVID, still only by appointment) and she replied immediately and I visited that day! I described the event to her, the theme, who I would be meeting, what location it would be, and she totally ran with it and pulled some unique, brand-new couture dresses from Berlin to Tokyo. We were both excited it seemed, and in the end it was so hard to choose! This stuff is quality and comfy! Don't be afraid to tell her what you enjoy and don't enjoy about the dresses, Rana has plenty to choose from and knows what to do with that information. I eventually ended going with a comfy, flattering and elegant black dress that will last me forever. But a close second was a smoky pink feminine asymmetrical dress that made me look like a million dollars. I may be back to splurge on that dress too, as I'm sure I'd wear it plenty and by the 5th or 6th wear I will have already gotten my money's worth! (Rana also gave many tips on how to dress it up or down, style it a bunch of ways... the versatility makes this clothing so much more valuable.) Go ahead and treat yourself, everybody deserves a big girl dress in their closet. It's a huge difference from fast fashion and will probably last you 200x as long. The quality is incomparable. Thanks Rana, I'll see you next time!

The associate was so nice that she let us shop until I found what I was looking for; not that I was looking for something particular. Although, I did find some really cute clearance items. These were only one-size left items, so they go for 50% off. With a sleeping baby on my back, I didn't want to try on this super cute dress I bought. I almost thought it was a dumb idea since it was not refundable, but went with my gut feeling to just buy it! The lady told me that the particular brand tends to run small, so I bought the last size larger. When I got home, I was thrilled that it fit me perfectly! Awesome customer service.

I liked the BB Dakota stuff they had, and they carry some Kersh sweaters, which, for sort of plain looking cotton blend sweaters, have become an everyday basic that last surprisingly long in my wardrobe. They had a good sale on fancy name brand jeans (only going up to waist size 31-32) and my Mom got some cute/silly flannel pattern PJ's on sale for around $34.00. She was pleased. They also had a lot of winter coats on sale. I like smaller stores like this because they don't overwhelm me and the prices are good/fair. I'll come back to support this local business when I need more leggings, leg warmers, maybe a cute top to wear out, accessories, a dress for an event, or to check out the sale section upstairs. They also carry Hollywood Fashion tape products including nipple concealers. Yeah nip concealers!

This is my 3rd annual update for the San Francisco Bay Area's Crossroads Trading stores. As a…read morepersonal buyer for multiple clients for decades, I've made it a priority to trade, buy and sell at each Crossroad store in the San Francisco Bay Area. After visting the City, East Bay and Southern CA stores, I am still partial and perhaps biased about the new College Avenue store. It is still my favorite Go-To high-end resale store, shopping there when it was across the street over 15-20 years ago. Other reviewers say that the new location has improved, brighter natural lighting with more open visual space and high ceilings for placement of high-end pieces. Their selection is better and consistently checked and maintained. High-end or designer pieces are encased or behind sales counter, allowing more room to move with better access to see, touch and try-on clothing. The dressing rooms are clean, well lit and accessible. The holding area for sellers waiting to sell might get cramped on a weekend and could use more staging or shelf area. It's nice to shop while you wait and not have to sit and watch your bags. Good training and the way its staff treats each customer makes all the difference. Long-time management, Jason, Dikki, Nola Mei, Emily and Diana are stellar and hire and train new employees with a discerning inclusive selection process of open-minded, friendly, and respectful staff. A huge shout out to Mack, Cairo, Rachel and Brooklyne and do excuse me if I've forgotten anyone. When asked if they enjoy working at Crossroads, they had positive attitudes and responses. Their buyers curate pieces carefully, and choose on what will sell for the season and location. They treat their customers with respect and are candid about their selections. I no longer feel slighted if they don't take an expensive item I thought would sell. My favorite brands traded and bought here are Vince, James Perse, APC, Armani, ATM, Theory, Patagonia, Lululemon, Rag and Bone, Acne, Eileen Fisher, A Piece Apart, Levis and more. The men's selections have improved and increased offering multiple top brands. I've bought Marni, Coach, Gavriel Mansur, YSL, and Longchamp purses and backpacks, along with unisex ArcTeryx, Patagonia and Northface backpacks and totes. Their shoes and boots like Prada, Aquatalia, Adidas, Todd's, Pedro Garcia etc., are great and one can still consign top shelf designer pieces. The trendy marks, Madewell, Frame, L'Agence, AGolde, Levis, Dickies and unique streetwear brands are abundant and offer affordable, high-end sunglasses, wallets and jewelry. Buying, selling or trading gently-used, pre-loved pieces that someone bought retail at 300-400% markup, some brand new with tags still attached - and you may just find your hidden gem here. One last note: No one paid me for this review and it is not A.I. rendered or generated.

Anyways, don't go there if you don't want to waste your time, this place is a complete joke. They will treat you like if you're selling them trashy clothes, such a snobby place.
