Great Chicken shawarma
Vu N.

Levanty!! I been searching for a good chicken schwarma and I found a great one. Is it my fav? Top 3 .. Texture was good. Some pieces of chicken was dry. But for the most part super moist. I did want a little bit more pickles. Sauce was really good. I did get extra Levanty sauce on the side. Overall really good item for 12 bucks

Enjoyed my meal at this place! Great service and great food. Me & the fam got the Mixed Grill Combo & the double combo with chicken and beef shawarma. Shawarma was crispy and juicy! Fed all 3 of us no problem. They did not skimp out on the portions either! Came with a mountain of fries! Theres plenty of space inside and outside with lots of parking available. I recommend

We had come here after hearing a lot of stories about how authentic their shawarma's are... we ordered their beef and chicken shawarma both are a foot long and very filling . We also ordered their bowl with rice base and protein topped with salads, pickles, hummus and garlic sauce.. it was huge and delicious... their service was top notch.. although it had basic interior but it was clean and tidy. Definitely my go to shawarma place

We showed up with a little over an hour to spare before closing. Typical Saturday night house music filled the dining area. Both gentlemen were quick to greet us and help once we were ready to order. Food is def halal and freshly made to order, presentation is there along with explosions of flavor. It's a bit interesting to arrive because of the bridge construction BUT SOOOO worth it !!

Yummm! my dad and I came here for lunch and had the best time. Everything here is high quality!

Food is fresh and very flavorful. Garlic sauce was a little bland but much better than overly garlic. Very nice presentation of the food and will definitely be back. Staff super nice to everyone and very appreciative of business. You won't be disappointed.

We've been to many Mediterranean restaurants in Corona and out of all of them, loved Levanty's beef kabob the best. So juicy and tender. Interesting location, right next to the bridge. Lots of parking available. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and was really interested in our opinion of their food. He even had us try their newest item which isn't on the menu yet, fried chicken that is so tasty and crunchy with a little bit of a kick. Highly recommend!

Eastern Mediterranean cuisine (described as Levantine) is served here. That style of cooking has influences from countries including Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, Turkey. The menu is simple and features foods I would imagine are typical street food fare. And if you are health conscious, you already know that overall the Mediterranean diet is a good way to go. Being a new business, I had patiently waited to give them a chance to overcome some of the early snafus. So, now, they have been open about 10 months. The reviews looked promising and authentic. First impressions, the location is problematic at the moment. They are negatively impacted by the painfully huge construction project projected to be completed later this year (2025). It includes the building of a large suspension bridge that takes vehicle traffic over the railroad tracks at McKinley and the making of some rather bizarre off-ramps. Finding the access points into the complex's large parking lot where Levanty is located is unpleasant and confusing to those unfamiliar to the area. Good luck with that. Hopefully all of that will improve, but while chaotic, it would not keep me from returning. Once you go inside, you will discover a small, neat, clean kitchen and attractive, small dining area with 4-5 tables at best. Ordering is done at the counter and food is delivered to your table. There is one small table outside, but the ongoing construction makes it dusty and unpleasant to sit outside, currently. We had a very filling and satsfying meal. The menu is limited, but besides chicken and beef, you can also find falafel, a vegetarian/vegan option, here. Nice and feel-good healthy! We started with the Baba Ganoush appetizer. It was nicely done, creamy, generously drizzled with olive oil. Their version was delicious but not as smoky tasting as some I have had. It was served with fresh, super thin lavish bread that was lightly toasted on the griddle. Addictive! I ordered a shawarma bowl and requested half beef-half chicken. $15. The beef and the chicken, are cooked on a traditional vertical spit, then shaved off when ordered. Both meats were delicious, with crispy edges, in spite of looking overcooked. The seasoning blend is their own recipe, exotic and uncommonly wonderful, but I could have sworn the beef tasted more like lamb, slightly gamey, than beef. Not a problem for me, I love lamb regardless, but they assured me it was beef. A creamy tahini sauce is drizzled on top of the meat. It was served over a seasoned yellow rice that I found to be irresistable. I further customized my order by requesting tabouleh (finely chopped parsley, herbs and spices, and cracked bulgur wheat salad) instead of their regular house salad, and was happy I did. The bowl also included a scoop of delicious hummus topped with olive oil. I enjoyed my bowl and would get this again. The cut of beef for their beef kabob is filet mignon. Mr. B ordered the double kabob plate, $29, so there was plenty to bring home. Deliciously seasoned and very tender, the kabob is served over a pile of rice as well, but the rice, more orange in color, appeared to be seasoned slightly differently than the yellow rice. It came with a crisp lettuce and cucumber salad with a spicy dressing, homemade pickle, and hummus. A word of warning for those who may not care for hot spices, the dressing contains Aleppo pepper, a red pepper that packs some heat. That was yet another reason why I was glad I chose the really good tabouleh instead. They have canned soda, some interesting, imported sodas, and bottled water. There are no desserts on their menu. They also have a couple of options for family and party sized meals. It looks like you get a lot of food for your money. I saw no indicators that this place is Halal, other than on this Yelp site, neither in signage nor printed on their menu. But when asked, they confirmed it was. Personally, I would think they would be proud to draw in those who only eat Halal, if it is so. I would enthusiastically urge you to give Levanty a try. This is a good option for putting on your rotation of international foods. Closed on Mondays.

Shawarma

10/10 The food is soooo good! The fries were perfectly crispy, and the sauces were amazing. But the shawarmas... absolutely delicious!!! The service was friendly and the place was very clean. Highly recommend!

everything went well!! everything is beautifully made with love. the best and kind service.

#9 Chicken meal

The food was amazing. Steaming hot when it was served to us, fresh made to order nan bread. Humus = chef's kiss ‍ I order the #9 and my friend order the #7. Both the chicken and steak were great. Cooked to perfection!! 10/10 recommend!!

My new obsession, I find myself making excuses to come to riverside so I can a box for Levanty lol. It's very hidden and it's past the bridge, about south east. All is fresh and I believe it's hallal. The chicken wraps is the star of the show, the beef shawarma is juicy and tender with lots of flavor, and the kefta is perfection!!! Please open more stores towards Fontana. Guys, for 12 bucks you can get a healthy & delicious meal. 4 stars because there's not another location close to me lol

The food arrived still hot & packed nicely. It looked amazing and smelt so good. We got the rice platter, which has different choices of meat they offer. We got the lamb & chicken platter, which has the meat over rice with lettuce topped with cucumber & tomatoes. Sauce can be requested on the side so we got the white and green sauce on the side since we weren't sure of the spice level in the sauce. The white sauce is good and subtle flavor and the green sauce was good as well and had a kick to it which was really nice when mixed in with the white sauce. I recommend that if you like spicy food. If not, just stick to the white sauce. The meat was tender & flavorful. I wish they added more cucumber & tomatoes on top of the lettuce. The amount we did get was good and refreshing with the lettuce provided. Definitely will eat this again & make it there in person to check out the vibes.

I ordered the beef kabab gyro and seasoned fries. Total came out to $22.26 after taxes, plus a $2.70 tip. Staff were friendly, the dining area was clean, and although no one was dining in at the time, there were plenty of pickup orders coming through. Unfortunately, the food simply sucked and I didn't even finish. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil -- you could tell by the dark coloring and overall taste. The gyro was small, expensive for the portion and quality, and the taste was just okay at best. I believe this is a franchise, but I personally won't be trying it again. Let's just say I was upset that I had not gone to the Jack in the Box in the same plaza instead -- and that's not something I'd normally choose to eat.

We have two hungry, fast growing munchkins who come to Grandma and Grandpa's house after school sometimes. It's so much easier than cooking. This place has evolved over the years. It's not just chicken anymore. Regrettably, almost everything here is fried, but they are expanding their menu to appeal to a bigger audience, including fried or steamed seafood, burgers, and a couple Middle Eastern selections. While most items are not exactly healthy, the one nice aspect is to have choices of how big you want to make your order of fried whatevers. So we got 6 tenders to make sure the hungry boy would manage to live until dinnertime. Our dainty granddaughter chose a fried shrimp plate, and two gyro wraps were for us two adults. It was all good. The tenders were moist and fairly big, and got a major thumbs up, the shrimp were beautifully plump with a light crispy coating, and the gyros meat was a nice surprise, not the rectangular, cookies cutter meat slices that come from a big food supplier. This gyro meat seemed more authentic. It came in chunks and had a nice herbal profile. They each came with a big pile of French fries. The hollow legged little people were appeased and very happy. This is a small operation. Plan on waiting a bit longer than the ubiquitous fast food joints. In all, I think you will be pleasantly surprised, just as I was.

I tried the breakfast combo with the paratha/roti, omelette, aloo, chana, and tea. A little spicy for me (but I'm rather soft when it comes to spiciness), but I really enjoyed the corn, potatoes, and roti (especially). And the tea was fine without sugar. I will def return when I am in the area! I thought that I had taken a photo, but apparently I didn't.

I came in with high expectations based on the glowing reviews. When I came in around 5 pm Friday, I…read morewaited a few minutes before someone came from the back to take my order. My food came out 15 minutes after ordering and was piping hot. I was excited to see my food made to order. Portion size 2/5: At first glance, it looked like a ton of food. However, there was only 4 small pieces of chicken in the chicken curry, a decent amount of potatoes and cauliflower in the mixed vegetables, and 80% of the plate was rice. After finishing the curry, I had 50% of my rice left. For $14.99 before tax, I did think the meal wasn't worth the price based on the quantity. Mossoor dal, 4/5: A lentil soup. Initially I drank it piping hot and thought it was too watery and flavorless. But once I let it cool down, I started gulping and got hit with a flavor bomb of spices, lentils, onions. This was the part of the combo. Rice, 2/5: The rice wasn't seasoned with any flavorings or fats. Since it's meant to be eaten with the curry I didn't mind the lack of flavor too much. However, the rice wasn't firm but a bit soft. Thankfully the rice wasn't mushy. But eating the rice alone was a boring experience. Mixed vegetables curry 3/5: As mentioned earlier, it was a mix of potatoes and cauliflower. It was seasoned well with the spices, but the flavor isn't what I would call complex. The curry was also fairly oily. The potatoes were soft and a bit creamy, and the cauliflower was firm. A nice mix of textures, and I concluded this curry was in the middle of the road compared to other places I had. Chicken curry, 0/5: Unfortunately, the chicken itself had no flavor. Despite using dark meat, it tasted as if it was simply boiled in hot water and had zero seasoning. The chicken tasted as if it was coated with oil (which will make sense in a bit), leaving in an unpleasant after taste of oil surrounding my tongue. The curry was even worse. The curry looked to be 50% oil, 50% curry solids and tasted even worse. It tasted like vegetable oil; no flavor at all. Maybe just a semblance of spice. Even when I tried to drain the oil out from my spoon, I tasted barely anything but heat. I hate wasting food, but I contemplated in throwing it away in disgust. Overall, I would had given this place a 1 star review for the chicken curry alone. However, the soup barely saves the meal, and I bumped it to 2 stars as a result.
