Lots and lots of walking ‍. Much better to do it on bicycle . The app isn't as functional with an android device as it is with an Apple iPhone. Fun and educational, would try it again in another vacation city, if available. read more

I was so excited when I found this activity for my 60th birthday with friends in Key West. There were a series of miscommunications before we even got started but those were ultimately resolved. Unfortunately of 2 of our group of 6 got the flu while traveling and we were unable to take advantage of this activity. Let's roam refused to refund the $275 I paid even though we did not execute the scavenger hunt, I will not use them again. I felt strong armed in the beginning and now without a refund I can't trust this organization. read more

I was very disappointed. I was putting together a team-building experience for 80 Tenth Graders. The communication before the event was horrible. They were always too busy to talk to me. I bought the custom VIP package but didn't get what I expected. I asked to alter some of the language so the students were walking in the Park as opposed to on the street, and I never got a response. The app kept on kicking us off and didn't make any sense when putting the teams in 1st, 2nd, 3rd,etc. place. There was no explanation or logic to what the leader board was listing. The students were frustrated. Also, when I asked for the route ahead of time and what the challenges would be, they were vague, and I only got screenshots without any idea of what the students were going to be doing. All around, a huge mistake. read more

Needs updated! We had a bit of trouble redeeming our Groupon and so only did the hunt off 1 device. There have been several parts of the hunt that didn't apply like the fish market was closed, the great wheel is fenced off and closed and the fountain is gone! We still had fun walking around our city but would gor sure keep in the pike place market area as west lake is quite dicey. read more

This was a great Mother's Day outing for us the sites were interesting informative and fun I highly recommend doing another challenge in the near future read more

Great team building activity for our work group. We haven't seen each other since covid started so this allowed us to visit and lean all in a safe setting! read more

I participated in this app during a work team building scavenger hunt. It was a great way to see the city and work together as a time. We had a blast. The -1 star is the app was a little difficult to nativigate read more

Biggest problem was that we arrived at locations we were told we weren't there. Had tons of fun and hope you make more Vegas hunts.

It was pretty good. I like that it guides you to places you may not otherwise go. Some of the questions though are about things that are hard or impossible to find without googling and I wish they provided more information for each spot on the hunt. read more

There were some bumps in the road learning how to use the app at first, but once we got the hang of it, things got moving. Loved how it framed each challenge and gave a variety of tasks to complete. App got a little slow, but was easy to work worth otherwise. Will definitely be checking it out for future events to do! read more

Pretty fun. Charge your phone. Bring back up power. Log on before you start. But we found things we didn't know about Denver and had a good time together doing it. read more

It's a bit shit to be honest. We did the Ghost Hunt. Was supposed to last about 2 hours, but we got bored after about 90 minutes and were only about halfway through. Waste of $50. read more

The entire experience seems like a scam. They are very responsive when you are trying to reserve a custom hunt experience, but that responsive communication ends after I paid. I had a terrible experience with this company in planning a custom hunt for a bachelorette party weekend in San Diego. Here is a summary of my negative experience and reasons why you should not bother with this company at all: 1) When trying to finalize the customizations included with the hunt package I reserved, the communication was at best inconsistent and at worst no response at all. 2) I never received the instructions on how to access my custom hunt on the day of the event. 3) When I called the live support phone number for help, I was on hold for 30 minutes a couple of times to speak to someone to help me get details for my hunt and never got through. There was an option they offer for call back so you don't have to wait on hold, but nobody ever called me back. 4) When I tried to chat with someone through the online message/chat feature, the reps were never able to help me start my hunt on their app and went in circles in asking me the same reservation confirmation info and pushed off my issues as an IT ticket, and the chat feature keeps timing out, so I never received the help that I needed to start my custom hunt. 5) I spent 4 hours trying to communicate with their reps in all channels I can to no success and finally gave up without ever starting the custom hunt. This whole process feels like a scam. I'll be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on this very negative and scam-lime experience. Stay away from this company! read more

Great team building activity! enjoyed all the activities and different history questions. read more

The app was a bit problematic asit didn't pause so we timed out on two challenges. I'd also like to see the difficulty and creativity of the challenges to be improved. But it took us ny cool landmarks read more

Set up was confusing, time consuming and frustrating. Give yourself and Team a day prior to Hunt to setup. Once we finally applied the voucher, registered on the app and set the team up it was fun and informative. Note it does not take into account locals participating in the hunt. Assumes you are American. read more

Really fun, walkable outdoor activity thats perfect for a Covid friendly afternoon! Would definitely do again in another location. I'm a local, but I had forgotten how pretty some parts of Ft. Lauderdale are. read more

The adventure of Let's Roam sounded like a lot of fun, so I bought three separate sets of tickets as gifts to give for Christmas. I ordered very early - October 24, October 28 and November 10. In each case, I PAID $6.99 plus shipping and handling for a physical gift card. Unfortunately, in all three cases, the gift card didn't arrive after 10 days. I had to call the company each time: * Regarding the October 24 order, I was told they would "reprocess" my order. I received the physical gift card several days later. At this point, I gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was lost in the mail. * Regarding the October 28 order, since it was going to a different address, they told me "for security purposes" they couldn't tell me what date the card was sent out. What??? Anyway, after the call, the physical gift card showed up several days later. * Regarding the November 10 order, I was told that the card would go out (why did I have to call for something I ordered and paid for on-line to go out??), yet after another two weeks, the physical card has not arrived. I ended up having to print the digital certificate, wrap it up, and spend more money to ship it myself. After all of that, I don't ever plan to use Let's Roam or purchase any other gift certificates from them. If you choose to use them, DON'T PAY FOR A PHYSICAL GIFT CARD unless you plan to have to follow up with them and even then there is no guarantee you will get what you paid for. read more

The actual scavenger hunt was awesome. I learned a lot and enjoyed the walk. Was not enthralled with the level of directions given to you by the app. Our experience will make the next one easier though. read more

This was one of the sloppiest , least professional groups we have ever experienced. If you are putting together a team building event and want to be embarrassed by this group's lack of follow up, horrific communications and utter bungling of questions specific to your business - go ahead and hire Let's Roam at your own risk. I WANT OUR MONEY BACK. Horrible truly. read more

Fun app. There were some times the app wasn't completely smooth, but overall experience was good and I plan on using on future scavenger hunts. read more

Great walk around Boston with good content. However, the app was quirky and frozen in many spots on the hunt. It was not the problem of my new iPhone or my data.... it was the app. read more

It wasn't for me! 5 of us arrived at the starting point and spent 20+ minutes just trying to figure out how to get into the program on our phones. (One of us was never able to get in with his paid ticket.) Then looking at the small screen as we went from place to place. My son-in-law and grandson enjoyed the competition part as they tried to be first to answer the challenge questions. I gave it 2 stars because they enjoyed it, but I wouldn't do it again. read more

This was a fun way to explore the city of Lancaster, PA. We found things we wouldn't have otherwise. I had a little trouble getting started, but once we figured out how it worked and where the first stop was, it was better. read more

FRAUD CHARGES Buyer beware!!! Once they have your card information you'll be charged all kinds of random charges weeks later. No, I didn't sign up for a membership but somehow they pushed through a recurring charge to my bank of $65. Then denied they did it and the same day charged another $25! Do NOT give them your credit card information. read more

I love the company's concept but unfortunately we were unable to use the product while trying to sign up from a cellphone in Asheville and were unfortunately signed up for reoccurring charges over a year for a service we never used. Even though we're local, we wanted to do something different and walk around the city. Let's Roam was the perfect solution and met every single one of our needs! It was informative, fun, educational, and challenging. I look forward to doing this in another city as well. read more

This app probably works better when fewer people are concurrently using it. We had a lot of frozen screens that frustrated us the team participants. I personally had to shut down and restart the app 12 times during our 3hr challenge. Most of the questions could be answered pretty easily and were interesting to research. This is my second year doing this challenge and this year was a little better than last year. read more

Many of the questions were poorly phrased, or simply had incorrect answers built into the app. In addition, to add a time limit to the one final question without making that more clear was a terrible way to end the event. Overall, very disappointed, and would not recommend anyone use this tour in the future read more

Enjoyable day roaming the lower part of Manhattan with our kids. The hunt went from City Hall, Bowery, China Town and Soho to Washington Square park. We leaned the history of the buildings and parks along the way. Covid friendly event for everyone to enjoy. read more

So much fun!!! My husband And I did it as a Valentine's Day alternative activity. I can confirm that it's socially distant. You can do this as a couple, or with friends, coworkers or family. We did it in the rain and it was still fun. We look forward to doing this in multiple cities! read more
