A couple weeks ago the bottom of my pool filter cracked. This Leslie's happened to have the same model in stock. I called to verify they still had one and the Manager said she did and that she would save it for me my husband could pick it up with his truck on his lunch. I have a compact car but i feel like it's capable of everything. Instead of having my husband drive out I asked the tall gentleman who helped ring me up if he thought it could fit in my car. He gladly busted out his measuring tape, measured the box, the size of the opening in my backseat, decided it would fit and loaded the heavy box into my car. This 5 star review is for Thomas the assistant manager. After my terrible experience with the lady sales person I went back in against my better judgment, I am so happy I did. Thomas is very knowledgeable, honest, helpful and friendly. He is the only reason I will continue to be a customer at this store. He has taken so much time to help me try to get my pool back to the way it was before I added the stuff the lady sold me and caused my pool to turn into a swamp. Jill was incredibly rude over the phone when I called to check if an item was in stock, and even worse in person when we came in to purchase. I thought the store was closed because she did not even greet nor move when we entered the store. I only noticed her after a few mins in the store standing there staring at her phone. Service was terrible, we asked for some advice and was given monotone and not helpful advice. As other reviewers mentioned she acted like we were inconveniencing her. We got what we came for, but bad attitudes is what ruins a person or customer's day. Jill, just because you're unhappy doesn't mean you have to drive your negativity into other people's lives. Maybe if you were genuinely happy to be helpful and nice, in turn your life might be happier. There's another Leslie's in town, we will be going there from now on. read more

They were very apologetic about Saturdays situation and even took off the service charge for the inconvenience!!! Thanks again for your amazing customer service skills! What a huge disappointment!!!! After setting an appointment for a jacuzzi light replacement they somehow miss communication with in themselves that its a repair! Turns out techs that work on weekends dont have the tools needed to complete the job!!!! So why schedule it on the weekend!!! The tech i spike to was very kind but stated his dispatch was notified regards the issue and the dispatch NEVER CALLED to reschedule the appointment! I was "that guy". I went in tonight like 10 minutes before close, was greated right away and just started ordering. Noticed that the lady behind the counter was actually helping someone else but was kind enough to great me. Then also noticed my mask was missing. She offered me a mask, multitasked both our orders, delivered my bleach to my car, and didn't make me feel like a dick for any of the above. this company is a joke!! I would've put 0 stars but it won't let me!! I was a member of the AccuBlue program and paid $54 a month to "rent" a water testing machine to be able to test my water at home. being a member meant I received a $50 credit in the form of an online gift card every month. we ended up taking our pool down so the credits were piling up. I ended up with a years worth of credits and they expire after a year so we needed to use them. I tried ordering a product online because they didn't carry it in stores but could only use 6 credits at a time. the item is a Keter - Manor storage shed that is labeled as durable plastic and is listed as $629. I did not want to spend the $422 after the taxes and fees and after my credits were added ($300 worth). we went into the store to see if they could add all of my credits onto a physical gift card in which the guy replied yes. they entered all of my credits onto a gift certificate that printed out as a receipt not a physical gift card. when I went to use it to purchase the storage shed it would not allow me to use a gift certificate as payment. I called customer service and they said that gift certificates can only be used in stores. I was reasonably pissed. we went back in and they stated they don't sell physical gift cards anymore. I told then to call their customer service and tell them to put my credits back onto my account. this process took over a month and by that time 2 of my credits ended up expiring in the process so I lost out on $100. after everything was said and done I decided to say eff it and order it online and use affirm to make payments for the remaining balance. I ordered the shed on 1/11 and it was supposed to be delivered on 1/25. the date of delivery had come and I checked and the package hadn't even said that it shipped so I called. they sated that affirm denied the payment even though I was charged the first part of the payment. so I called affirm and they said that it was declined on Leslie's end so I told affirm to just cancel the payment because at this time I was fuming. I then received an email from Leslie's customer service saying that they just needed to update that it was a digital card and that it went through and my package shipped. I had to call Leslie's back to update my payment information because I had already cancelled the affirm loan. I ended up having to put the remaining balance on my credit card, that was on 1/26. it is now 1/31 and I am still receiving emails to update my payment information even though it's been paid in full. I received my order yesterday, 1/30, and the box seemed much smaller than I thought it should be. when we opened it I was shocked to find that it is literally the cheapest material ever made and most definitely not worth the price!! it is made of corrugated plastic!! it's not sturdy or durable as the description said!! and to make matters worse, this item is not eligible for returns!! I made a review of the item yesterday after we put the damn thing together but of course Leslie's refuses to post it because it's not a positive review!! I don't understand how this company is still open with how unknowledgeable their staff is and how horrible their customer service is!! I still have $150 worth of credits left and I cannot wait to use them so I don't have to deal this monstrosity of a company anymore!! read more

Leslie's is the worst customer service in Las Vegas! Bought a whole system last year (pool pump, sweeper) to replace what had over 20 years. Within the first month, tech had to come out twice to replace burnt out parts and the actual motor. First time the tech was very nice, second time, he said that he thought that the pump needed to be changed. The third time someone came out, it had to be changed. Fast forward today, the pump barely has any suction and just eats electricity. Tech comes out, looks at it and says "I'll get back to you". The temperature is 100 degrees, my pool looks like crap from the debris from the recent wind gusts, not to mention the algae build up from the non-circulation of the pool pump. So the tech comes out at 9 am and by 5 pm no call, no communication, NOTHING. I call the "help" center, talk to "Audrey" (a snotty, condescending *) who tells me that I am not their only customer, she said to voice my complaints on 1-800-leslies, she will get back to me (hello, been waiting all day...), this company sucks. She said she would give my number to the district manager, Mike Davis (common name, but wouldn't give any other info, not holding my breath). Well listen, Audrey...I can call everyday. I can call other service departments. I will call the BBB regarding your faulty warranty program and your lousy customer service. read more

Today I guess I was one of those customers that was not having a good day. My wife took out "Pool Cleaner" sweep to the Leslie's store on S. Nellis @ Stewart Ave on Aug 12th for repair. The sweep was just sitting dead in the water from what she tells me. She also told me that the tech who accepted the sweep said they would call if anything changed or it was ready for pickup. On that following Wednesday she called to get an update, and she did, "No parts. Should be in by Thurs or Friday. Well today is Sat Aug 20th, and I called to check on the sweep since it has been over a week and our pool has no cleaning system going. I talked to a gentelman and I asked the status and he said there were no parts delivered, so I said very calmly, "when in the hell do you expect the parts? I then asked for a Manager, the gentelman said, "well if you are going to use profanity, you can come and get it and see if you can find the parts needed. I am sorry your staff are so thin skinned, and you can rest assured I will no longer give this store my business, and I have been using this store for over 20 years. I am sorry! Apparently it takes 3+ weeks to change a pool light bulb. 30 min job tops. Yet appointments are over a week out. Had an appt for this past Saturday. Original guy called a different guy to come. He fumbled around for 20 min and couldn't figure out how to open the housing to change the bulb. Now I have to wait another week for the original guy to come change it. what a joke read more

Spent 200 dollars on different products followed directions to a T. I was told my pool would be clear after I was finished you still can't see the bottom it's a murky blue. I also took a video I will add it after I upload it of me adding the products.Leslies boast that their shock is stronger than the competitors but I noticed no difference between it and a brand called htp at a fraction of the cost that is also without the clear blue and green algae remover Leslie's sold me. I followed all directions and I filmed it of me adding the product and took photos I will add them all in a compilation after I finish my laser appointment. Refused a refund because product had been used but the product didn't work so isn't that the point to put the product in your pool. How can you tell if a product works unless you use it in your pool. Also the wait in the store is atrocious. So don't expect a refund if the sales rep makes promises the pool will be clean just buy a cheaper product or hire a pool cleaner waste of time... read more

My experience has been nothing but positive. When I started taking care of the 22,000 gallon pool and jacuzzi, I had numerous questions. Leslie's staff, in particular Danavian, but ALL of the staff have been wonderful, knowledgeable, and courteous--if one doesn't know my answer the get it for me. From chemicals to plumbing such as valves, filters, equipment, and general problems. They recommended Rick and John at PoolWise for specific needs who have been also excellent and reasonable at cost. Neither Leslie's nor PoolWise have ever tried to sell me something I don't need, but have provided advice regarding options. I wholeheartedly recommend this store--(I've never been to another location, and cannot vouch for any other.) read more
