1. This is the second pool they have built for me 2. They have consistently beat every single pool company quote Ive got. 3. Its a fast quality build and they always let me know whats going on. I have no loyalty to this company, Im cheap. I go with the best deal. If youre looking for a pool id recommend this company to friends and family.

I recently within the last year have had a pool built by Pools R Us. From start to finish meeting with Clay and getting our perfect design for our space and then seeing it come to life was pretty easy ,quick and most of all painless. The guys did an amazing job. The communication with Clay and Luis was top notch they answered all the questions I had and they were as transparent as any company I have ever worked with. I appreciate the whole Pools R Us team so much (front office included) for guiding us through the project and making sure it was stress free from start to finish. We love our new outdoor living space and have already had a summer filled with memories!! We can't wait to get swimming this year!! Thanks again Pools R Us. You will be highly recomended by my self for anyone searching for a great company to build their desert oasis!!!!!

This here shows the pool wasn't even finished February 21, 2025.

At this point, the spillway issues have finally been corrected and the system now performs significantly differently than it did originally, after multiple reconstruction attempts, geometry changes, and material changes. We are not seeking additional work or compensation. My review exists solely to document our experience for other consumers. What remains most concerning is how this company chose to publicly handle customer concerns. Instead of limiting responses to workmanship, warranty scope, construction standards, or documented project facts, the company repeatedly chose to include personal attacks, commentary about my relationship, insinuations about my personal life, accusations unrelated to the actual construction issues, and inflammatory remarks directed at us publicly. Notably, many of those original public responses were later edited or removed entirely. The original versions included mocking commentary, profanity, references to "OnlyFans," comments about my personal life, and other statements completely unrelated to pool construction or spillway performance. For clarification, at no point did I make racist remarks toward subcontractors. I did express frustration regarding communication barriers during active construction issues after repeated concerns about damage to property and ongoing workmanship problems. Those concerns were directed at the lack of supervision, project management, and resolution process not anyone's ethnicity. The company even chose to publicly reference a minor employee allegedly becoming upset during an office interaction, despite the fact that no "bring your child to work day" or similar circumstance was ever disclosed to us at the time. That situation had nothing to do with the spillway concerns, workmanship issues, or reconstruction history and further demonstrates how personal and inappropriate these public responses became. That alone speaks volumes about the professionalism of how this situation was handled publicly. The company also repeatedly attempts to minimize the issue by characterizing the feature as "just a spillway" rather than a waterfall. In reality, this raised spa and spillway system was designed as one of the primary focal points of the entire pool. It is not a minor trickle-style feature hidden in the background. The visual water flow, symmetry, and spillway performance are central design elements of the project and were presented that way throughout construction and design discussions. A professional company can disagree with a customer while still remaining professional and focused on the project itself. Instead, this became increasingly personal, defensive, and retaliatory in tone. The documentation, reconstruction history, emails, certified correspondence, photos, videos, subcontractor involvement, and eventual changes to the spillways all speak for themselves. The edited responses now visible publicly are noticeably toned down from the originals. Consumers can draw their own conclusions as to why a company would later remove or revise large portions of its own public statements after posting them. Below are the attached original responses that were later edited or removed by the company.

I was quite pleased with their competitive pricing and design work. They were very transparent with me. I dealt with Greg, who never tried to upsell me. He actually kept things within my budget, which is what was important to me at the time. In hindsight, I wish I'd actually gone larger but they gave me what I asked for. They were patient with me and my design choices and I would recommend them to my friends and clients. Trust these guys! Ozzie Canseco & Monica Bellard

Honest Review! I was looking for pool companies to interview and accidentally hit the "wrong" button on yelp and sent out a bat signal to everyone. Ben from Pools R Us contacted us right away and offered to come out for an estimate. I really liked his approach as I explained we waited over a decade to finally decide to invest in the backyard. He really put me at ease. After interviewing many companies, it was Ben that sold us. When we signed the contract I had a lot of questions and asked for amendments before signing. The company was agreeable and listened to my concerns. Afterall spending almost 100k isn't an easy decision. After signing and sending over a large sum of money is when I really started to get scared. It was a lot of money to send and I really needed someone to reassure me. I called and spoke to Ben. We went through the contract again and explained all the ways I was going to be okay and reminded me to: Trust the process! There were times I had questions but what I found was my concerns were always addressed. All of the subcontractors were so polite and understanding since I live in a HOA and you really can't park on my street even though phases like pouring concrete require it, they were ready to move when needed. We are currently wrapping up our punch list of smaller items and Ben is making sure that I am happy with the final result. I have to also say the Owner Greg was also amazing. I'm so glad we decided to go with Pools "R" Us. I would highly recommend them for your pool build. My family is so grateful and excited to finally have an outside space to play. We are in the pool almost every day!

Had a great experience with Pools R Us! Clay was fantastic--patient, professional, and kept me informed throughout the whole process. The pool turned out perfect! Highly recommend!

First and foremost, I met Greg and Clay before, I think, several years back, and at the time, I couldn't get the right loan. Needless to say, I have done a load of research on them before choosing them. I looked into their licensing, bond, team, better business reviews, Google reviews, and yelp. I have seen many negative reviews on many pool builders, including a close brother of mines, friend who gave me a rough quote. I wouldn't even use a friend due to the poor reviews! Greg and Clay legit communicate through phone and text, and if they don't reply right away, they will within a day or so. Throughout the process, I was aware of everything that was going on, and if I had any dumb questions, they replied. Their subs were professional and kind towards me and my family throughout the entire process. I will say this if you're looking for a builder, this is the business you want to use. I do not believe the negative reviews by far as Greg made a lot of crap right and did right by me and my family. I have had only a handful of pool Builders that I sought out, but truthfully and respectfully, they can not compete with Greg and Clay's business period. Once the pool was finished, Clay and Greg did a walk through and saw some small problems that they did fix and made sure it was repaired in a timely manner. They have a welcoming package that, as an owner, you must read, and it tells you a step by step process of what to expect throughout the process. No bs I would use them in the future for replastering and acid washes and even a new pool build if I grab another home. Greg and Clay don't mess around when it comes to professionalism. Don't believe me, just look at the work they did on my home. Look at the better business bureau reviews, State Contractors Board, bonds, subs, and reviews. Some of the reviews are BS as I come from an investigative background, and they are a solid pool business. Me and my family are 110% happy with what Greg and Clay's business, team, and subs have done for us!

This was my first time ever building a pool, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Clay was my main point of contact and definitely made the whole thing easier--he was super responsive, patient, and always available to answer questions. I had some hesitation early on, but he really earned my trust over time. The whole Pools R Us team was great to work with professional, respectful, and easy to communicate with. The project took about 4 months from start to finish, and everything stayed on track. Their communication was spot-on, and the crew did a great job keeping the site clean and organized throughout the build. Even after the pool was finished, Clay has continued to be helpful anytime I've had a question. That kind of support after the job is done really sets this company apart. If you're thinking about building a pool, I highly recommend Pools R Us LLC. Great team, great service, and a great end result. If you're thinking about building a pool and want someone who's honest, easy to work with, and actually cares. Thanks again, Clay!

We had our pool built last year and still couldn't be happier with it. The best decision we made was going with Pools R Us. We contacted several pool company's before making our decision which wasn't hard after speaking to Clay. He came out to our house and took time to listen and design the right pool for us.

Luis, thank you so much for the amazing job! My pool looks absolutely beautiful! Great price, great job, and amazing service! Thank you Pools R Us!!! See you in another 8-10 yrs.

I can't recommend Pools R Us enough! As a first time pool owner we did an exhaustive search for the right company, I was almost ready to give up--finding a pool builder who not only has the expertise but also makes you feel comfortable and confident is no easy task. It is an arduous, exhausting, and draining process to find a pool builder that will be transparent through the build and be around to help after the dust has settled. From the start, Pools R Us provided peace of mind with clear, solid contracts and full transparency. They were always available to answer questions, and Greg (the owner), in particular, went above and beyond to guide us through the entire process. He helped us feel at ease, making sure that every decision was in line with our goals, design preferences, and budget. The team was incredibly responsive and worked seamlessly with other contractors, ensuring everything was coordinated without a hitch. There was no upselling of unnecessary features--just honest recommendations that made sense for our needs. They were open about costs, walked us through every detail of the bid, and ensured we were comfortable with the contract before moving forward. There were some delays due to a larger amount of caliche in our backyard but Greg was able to keep us informed and worked directly with the contractor to minimize the delay. With that said the project broke ground in October 2024 and we just did our final walkthrough 1st week of January 2025! We appreciated how non-judgmental and flexible they were when it came to design changes and material selections. They really listened to our ideas and worked with us to create the perfect pool within our budget, without cutting corners on quality. Now that the pool is complete, we couldn't be happier. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and it's clear they take great pride in their work. Pools R Us is transparent, provides high-quality work, is easy to work with and provides peace of mind that we as a first time pool owner needed.

Pools R US built in Dec 2024. Ben was our designer!

Ben at Pools R Us did a great job with our pool design and build. It was completed at the end of Dec 2024. The pool turned out great and my wife and I are enjoying the heated spa during the cold Winter! We can't wait for the warmer weather to arrive to enjoy the pool. Thank you Ben!

We are 10 months post build and couldn't be happier! Had an incredible experience with Ben and Greg from Pools-R-Us. We started construction in February 2023 and were finished in April 2023! This was our first pool build and we weren't sure what to expect since you hear so many horror stories out there, however, ours was far from that! From the get-go, the customer service was absolutely fantastic!! , Ben was in constant communication with us letting us know every step along the way. We went with a clean, simple design with a tanning ledge and a bench for seating and pavers done with Pools-R-Us. they were extremely competitive with other quotes we received from other builders thank you so much; we are very happy and highly recommend pools r us !!

I contacted him in advance and asked if he could come Saturday or Monday to get the water properly treated and balanced. He told me he couldn't come until Thursday. Since I didn't want a newly filled pool sitting that long without being properly treated, I told him I understood and that we would find another pool maintenance company that could come sooner. I then asked him to refund the unused portion of the $150 monthly service fee, since he had only performed one service that month. Instead of simply discussing the cancellation and refund professionally, the conversation became extremely hostile. He told me, "You pay thousands of dollars for a remodel, yet you won't pay me $200?" and eventually called me a "low-life" and said he "could wipe my ass with that money." I understand that there can be disagreements about charges, and I had no problem paying another company for the chemicals and startup service. My issue was the way I was spoken to simply because I chose to discontinue the service and requested the unused balance back. Unfortunately, after the way this situation was handled and the personal insults I received, I would not use this company again. Update after the owner's response: His response unfortunately reinforces the reason I decided to change companies. I did not cancel because I was looking for free service or because I did not want to pay for chemicals. My new pool company charges me $159/month, which is actually more than the $150/month I was paying him. They also charge separately for the freshwater startup chemicals, which I agreed to pay. I have no issue paying for services or chemicals. I changed companies because I was unhappy with the service and, most importantly, the way I was being communicated with. Even after I ended the service, the owner continued calling me "low-class" publicly in his response to this review. I think his own messages and response speak for themselves.
