I called spoke to office they said they would look into it, never received a call back and was charged $150 dollars for "NO" diagnostics. Poor customer service and poor technicians. I hope this reaches at least one potential customer to avoid this frustration and loss.

Our neighbor has used this company for years to open, do maintenance, clean, and close the pool…read more Consistently, we have had issues with this company as a neighbor, ranging using our property to transit to and from the neighbor's pool to actually blocking our driveway with their vans. We have spoken with their technicians who are responsible for this behavior. We have spoken with their management in the office - yet the behavior persists - with today, we having to again ask them to move their van from being parked in front of our driveway, so we could use it. The responsible individual grudgingly moved the vehicle a few feet, expecting us to still drive on our grass, before realizing that it wasn't going to happen and eventually relocated the van. I rarely give such poor reviews, and certainly don't and now, never will actually use their service. But their service of our neighbor's pool negatively impacts us and I can only imagine what kind of service my neighbor must receive if such blatant lack of care, or at best, inattention is exhibited by their staff.

They made me pick a star- but zero stars is my rating…read more We bought a 27 ft round pool from Pool King on Lemay Ferry on 5/4/2024. They have contracted installer ---Mario Emanuel ---- install pools for them. He comes highly recommended by pool king. Installer did not hold up to pool kings terms and provide us an invoice or contract. When we first started talking about Pools as a family we got a quote written by Savannah at Pool King--- which included the liner pad and cove $219.99. We ask for them to write up the quote and purchase the materials on 5/4/2024. Pool liner pad or cover somehow didn't get added. We as new pool owners trusted we were in good hands and had everything we needed to begin our pool journey! We noticed the tracking looked off the day after installation and called Mario. It was midnight and pitch black when they finished installation on 5/18/2024. He said enjoy the pool and we will fix it at the end of season when I called him next day . I have text to prove communication. Our pool never got the cove installed or sand cove (we honestly as new pool owners didn't not even really understand what a cove was until we started getting the quotes for repair) and our pool is falling apart. It was not leveled correctly either. Our liner is showing through because cove was never placed. Pictures included. (First pictures where taken day after pool installed -last pictures are how it progressed after told everything was ok) We have gotten several quotes over $10,000 to fix installer and Pool Kings mistakes. They will have to take down our pool and start over. (They advised it's a safety risk and could break at any moment) We also had a deck installed and it will no longer line up with our pool with the new repairs. I have gone up to Pool King today 8/30/24. I talked with manager Joe Meyer. There was no urgency to have anything completed or resolved. He said I may get a call Tuesday because of the holiday weekend. Mario has ghosted us and not responded since to communication. Pool king is working with us but is insisting we use same installer that caused this mess. We have completely lost trust in this installer and don't feel comfortable with him.

I scheduled and paid for a pool inspection on a house with a pool I wanted to buy. It was…read morescheduled for Wednesday morning. I took the day off work so I could observe and speak with the pool inspector. On Wednesday afternoon when no one had come by; I called them to ask where the pool inspector was. They said the inspector had already come the day before, the gate was unlocked and they let themselves in and did the inspection. I was obviously unhappy that I wasted a PTO day; but I dealt with it and asked when I would get the inspection documentation. I was told I would have it within a day or two. After two I days I reached and was told I would get it the following day; which I did not. I called every day for a couple more days and was unable to get the inspection before the closing day to buy the house. I received it a couples day after I bought the house. The inspection was very short and not very detailed. And they pool has problems that were not even documented on the inspection which i did not recieve in time anyway. I was obviously upset about the entire situation. I called them to ask for my money back. They were rude and unwilling to do anything but give me a credit towards future service. I will never use them again and I highly recommend no one uses them.

Their written proposal stated that the roll-up tube would be replaced "if needed," which is how I evaluated and agreed to move forward. Before proceeding, I specifically clarified that I was not interested in replacing the tube unless it was truly necessary, as another provider indicated this is not commonly required. After that, the company changed their position and stated the tube would need to be replaced, effectively turning a conditional item into a requirement without clear justification. When I questioned the discrepancy, instead of addressing it professionally, I was told I should consider using another company. At best, this reflects poor communication and unclear scoping. At worst, it feels like a bait-and-switch approach. I'm glad I caught this before paying the required 75% deposit. If you're considering working with them, make sure any "if needed" items are clearly defined in writing upfront.
