Fed up, I took a sample up to St. Charles Pool and Spa, and that afternoon, I had a sparkling, clear pool. I've never gone anywhere else with chemical questions since! Every time I call to get them to come back to fix their errors, Andy tells me 10 different excuses and ends up saying it is my fault. The only thing they're good at is racking up the chemical charges every week and billing the customer. Do yourself a favor, never use these clowns. It will end up costing you so much more in the end as they have no clue what they're doing and send incompetent people out to do the job causing $1000s in damage that they won't fix.

I took the day off work so I could observe and speak with the pool inspector. On Wednesday afternoon when no one had come by; I called them to ask where the pool inspector was. They said the inspector had already come the day before, the gate was unlocked and they let themselves in and did the inspection. I was obviously unhappy that I wasted a PTO day; but I dealt with it and asked when I would get the inspection documentation. I was told I would have it within a day or two. After two I days I reached and was told I would get it the following day; which I did not. I called every day for a couple more days and was unable to get the inspection before the closing day to buy the house. I received it a couples day after I bought the house. The inspection was very short and not very detailed. And they pool has problems that were not even documented on the inspection which i did not recieve in time anyway. I was obviously upset about the entire situation. I called them to ask for my money back. They were rude and unwilling to do anything but give me a credit towards future service. I will never use them again and I highly recommend no one uses them.

This year, we paid over $600 for an opening that was never complete. They, as is seemingly habit for them, never showed up to rectify this after we called and they said they would send someone out. We've also been trying for years to get on their weekly cleaning service list and have been repeatedly told to tell them 'At the beginning of the season' as that's when they're figuring out how much staff/resources to acquire, we also got on a wait list, which I suppose makes sense until they finally say you're in and people still never show up consistently. We've also had problems with rude staff in store in the past. Yes, we should've given up on this place a long time ago, we're just busy and this place is close to us so it was convenient-- at first, obviously. After the shit show of this year, it's June and we haven't been able to swim once yet bc the pool is in a state of neglect from this one sided relationship with Four Seasons, we've finally put the thought required into finding a new company, St. Charles Pool and Spa, and they have been fantastic. Friendly staff that actually show up and in the time frame they say they will. Almost like they recognize that they're being paid to be here and do the job! I highly recommend going right to them and not wasting your time here. They've already been out to asses the situation, are doing a sort of 'second opening' for us to fix the bad job done the first time, and got us cemented in their weekly cleaning schedule. Finally!

Their written proposal stated that the roll-up tube would be replaced "if needed," which is how I evaluated and agreed to move forward. Before proceeding, I specifically clarified that I was not interested in replacing the tube unless it was truly necessary, as another provider indicated this is not commonly required. After that, the company changed their position and stated the tube would need to be replaced, effectively turning a conditional item into a requirement without clear justification. When I questioned the discrepancy, instead of addressing it professionally, I was told I should consider using another company. At best, this reflects poor communication and unclear scoping. At worst, it feels like a bait-and-switch approach. I'm glad I caught this before paying the required 75% deposit. If you're considering working with them, make sure any "if needed" items are clearly defined in writing upfront.
