The opening went well. In addition to the normal opening, he fixed my gate to the pool without even mentioning it. I just noticed it was working after he left. (no charge). This was an easy correction but service like this is rare these days. We will continue to use Waters Edge and recommend to our friends. He is also a polite person but you just get that as a side benefit.

We had Blue Haven back to close our pool for the year and the employees doing so were extremely rude to my wife and I. We just shrugged it off and had them re open the pool to learn it was not shut down properly and our pool heater that is imperative to using the pool in the early months of the year was broken due to this process. After months of fighting someone finally came out to determine that it was broken beyond repair and it would need to be replaced. They did replace it and we lost half of a season in this process. We sold this home. In doing so we learned the fence Blue Haven who worked with a sub contractor to install as a requirement of having the pool was installed outside of our property line. I immediately reached out to Don about this. His response was that they went of the plot plan that we gave him that was supplied by the county and did not do a survey because previous customers did not like to pay for it to understand where the fence legally needed to be placed. Due to this we were on our own to resolve this matter. This cost our family 1800 dollars.I simply asked Don during this conversation who I should have our legal representation to reach out to at Blue Haven and his response was "it'll cost a lot more for an attorney than it would to move your fence back in Barret. Quite a bit more, but you can have them reach out to Blu Haven." "In a whole lot more time. I told Ruben it was urgent because you're moving December 2 so he's gonna come pretty Quickly but I can tell him to hold off if you wanna get your attorney involved." My family and I feel violated and talked down to by this response when we simply wanted a resolution to a problem we did not cause. We were not given a choice to not have a survey completed and then were told by Blue Haven we were responsible for the cost of the error. 1800.00

They terminated me after making up a story about ducks and geese being in my pool which is completely untrue. And they did this on my birthday days before I was hosting a pool party to celebrate. I was a loyal customer for almost a decade when they decided this customer (me) just doesn't matter. Never before have I dealt with this poor level of customer service and ingratitude. I would give 0 stars because that's what this company deserves at this point but unfortunately 1 is required for the review and feedback which I hope helps others to consider another company before using a corporation who apparently sees customers as expendable when other opportunities arise which is what I have to think is going on here. In addition I also asked about pool cleaning equipment with no estimate or response prior to the false claims of water foul and was sexually harassed by an employee at one point. The list goes on and on regarding issues and I stayed loyal but shouldn't have so save yourself the hassle and choose a more reputable company.
