This place is hit or miss typically you only wanna go here if you already know what you want and don't need to get downloaded on any knowledge. I've been in here multiple times and the majority of those times I'll be in the middle of a conversation with an associate and they'll leave to go take care of someone else for instants I waited my turn today And during our conversation she left to take someone's pool water to test it entered into the conversation with them then proceeded to answer the phone two separate times then started talking to another customer before she got back to me. It's about time I leave this review. I was new to the area and new to having a pool. I hired a pool service that was completely horrible! I came to Leslie's to be able to test my water myself and get my pool healthy and back to normal and they were nothing but helpful and my pool is absolutely beautiful- teamwork, myself and the team there! I mainly work with the management one including Iliana . I couldn't say more positive things about her, she's knowledgeable, she's friendly, she has a good memory, and she will guide you the right way and you'll feel confident! She should be recognized because you can tell she takes pride in her work and she handles every customer with respect a smile and ready to provide great service. She's the BEST!! They are a local store so they can become busy but they handle multitasking very well. They try to keep you in line for a minimal amount of time, they always answer the phone and they always answer your questions. I have been here multiple times, and will continue to come for pool supplies. I always get the best customer service from the ladies at the cashier. Last year, I bought a patio heater, and she helped me loaded it up in my SUV. They are helpful and courteous, always!! Do not buy the best or upgraded products from Leslie pools. They only warranty some parts for only 30days. Just buy the cheapest they have because those don't break but they do wear out after years of use. Thought we would buy better products and get more use out of them not the case... we got less than 6 months and Leslie Pools required we buy replacements parts to fix the already expensive product. :-( Not happy! read more

First, I have always used Leslie's Supplies for all my pool needs yet this particular store and the staff in Manteca was not of the quality that I am accustomed to. I brought in a pool cleaner/sweeper to be repaired and given an estimate of the cost and how long it would take to repair (a couple of days), all within reason. I approved it and left happy. The order was in my son's name and being extremely busy with work and we had a friend who was in an accident, the sweeper was not checked upon. After approximately 3 weeks I asked if he received a call regarding the pool sweeper and he said "no" so I went to the store to check the status and actually to pick it up since it would be repaired in "a couple of days." One of the sales rep told me that she spoke with a female and I explained that the number listed is my son's mobile and not accessible to anyone but himself! False statement! Second, the sweeper was not repaired although it had been there for several weeks! The parts were there, just not repaired. She advised me that the machine will be repaired and I could pick it up before Memorial Day. I told her I would pick it up after, thinking I would give them some time because of the holiday pool rush. Why did I do that?!! When I went to the store on June 1, I was told that they were waiting for authorization to repair the cleaner!! Give me a break! I asked the rep if she was aware how long this item was in the store for repairs and she was, I explained that the authorization was given when first brought in. She told me that the cleaner/sweeper will be ready in a couple of hours. Knowing their track record, I did not trust this statement and called this time on June 3 only to be told that the sweeper would be ready in an hour! WOW are the excellent at giving false statements! Today is June 4th and it is 3:00 pm I have made my call to Leslie's Pool in Manteca and, with hesitancy, the staff has told me that the sweeper/cleaner is ready. My original quoted price is now $100 more! If you read the whole review, the supplies may be worth your time but if you need repairs, don't follow the lies, deceit, etc., and take your item elsewhere! I know if I have to do it all over, I will NOT return here even for supplies. read more

Very helpful, purchased pool sand.the girlrl was very nice and came outside and got money and brought out my sand and put in trunk. Very cheap too. Cheaper than walmart, she also recommend me to take back the bottle full of water so they test and recommend what my water needs. read more

After purchasing a Polaris 9400 Sport Pool Robotic Pool Cleaner a few years back I was just told by Leslies and Polaris that the motor was burned out and it would cost $695+ to repair. Both the manufacturer and the store could and would not back up their product, at all! Shameful! Stay away from these 2 companies! read more

Leslie's pool supply is a little on the pricey her side. They were out of a lot of things but I was hoping to get and I had to purchase some of the items I needed at a more expensive price. They were fairly busy and seemed to be shortstaffed. It didn't really seem like anybody was willing to help but I got it figured out and grab what I needed and left. read more

Came here yesterday to buy chemicals to clear my pool due to ashes from the fires. I asked specifically for a flocculant. The employee said they don't carry flocculant so she insisted to buy their product called clarifier which is as good as flocculant. I asked the employee how to use the clarifier, thinking they should know how, the employee at the time explained the steps. Which she missed an important part. Any ways, I used the clarifier following the employees direction the first time which the clarifier didn't work. So I used it for the second time following the bottles direction, which asks you to turn the pump on. Even with the pump on the clarifier didn't work. So I called to return the item they said that would work as good as flocculant and the employee on the phone is very rude. I would expect a company to stand behind their product. If it don't work and they suggested it will then they should be able to take it back or make it right for the customer. I will not be coming back to this store again and I suggest go somewhere else who will provide you with the right info. read more

This is the best Leslie's pool store in or around San Joaquin county. Ive been to both stores in Stockton and they were not half as helpful as the Manteca location is. Every time I call or go by they are very knowledgeable and can answer my questions quickly and have the right answers. I had no idea what to do when I bought a house with a pool. Their staff walked me through it all. They even will take your water samples and tell you what you need to do to get right. I even took my vacuum in and they repaired it for only the cost of the parts!!!! I eventually had my pump replaced and their service company came in and did it. The guy even gave my husband advice on how to repair the waterfall while he was here!!! My husband said he was way better than the guy who came out from our insurance company to replace the filters and was the one who damaged the pipes to the waterfall and later denied it. I don't know what we would have done without them! Skip the other Leslie pools in the area and come here! read more

I dread going into Leslie's every time we have to. They are always swamped and never have more than one person on the floor. They really need to get some help for this store and brush up on their customer service. As stated in the other review, their female associate is terrible and loves to make you feel stupid whenever you ask a question. The only reason we continue to come here (besides our desperation) is due to their sales associate who I think is named John. He is so knowledgeable and helpful and always keeps his cool when he is overwhelmed. Kudos to you John! If you weren't there this store would fall apart! read more

So my husband specifically called ahead and told Ron that we had bought an INTEX pool pump a few weeks ago. Few meaning 3 which is more then there 2 week policy, he said go ahead bring it in. Mind you we called ahead because we live in Tracy and unfortunately the Tracy store was out of stock so we had to go there. Anyways I get there and the woman who orginal sold us it wouldnt take it back! They didnt even have one in stock which makes no sense because the man was like sure well get you another one. LIES....The worst customer service!! Its is not my fault there product didnt last, nor would they let me exchange it for the upper model. What I dont get is I can return it but they cant??? Whatever happen to cutomer service?? C. Sabala is the worst sales associate!!!! The man seemed like he wanted to help, but not her. Today was the first time I have ever been to Leslie's pool supply. I went there in need of s filter and pump . I spoke to the lady that worked there and I wanted to check another place before I bought one. So I asked her what time do you close ? She said 7:00 pm. I said great I'll have time to go there and come back I went to other place and didn't like the filter so I ran back to but it at Leslie's . It was 6:40 and guess what ? It was closed ? There were two other people that pulled up in the parking lot also. They saw me check the door and asked me if it was closed. That's three customers they missed out on .So I hope the owner of Leslie's pool supply realizes they lost a 400.00$ sale today plus whatever the other two people were buying All because the girl working decided to close early. Customer service is a concept this store could surely use some help with. Every time I visit it's an unpleasant experience. They know their stuff but the service and the friendliness is just not there. Latest issue was enough to make me stop using Leslie's altogether though!!! Terrible experience...even with the district. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. If you have to go to a Leslie's though don't go to this one. The feedback here says it all...many unsatisfied clients. Maybe management will take note and see that maybe it's time to dig deeper into the issues. read more

I have spent a lot of money here over the years, but when I visited the store at 11am on Sept 20, I was "helped" by the rudest clerk I have run into in years. This very nice looking young lady went out of her way to make my visit as miserable as possible. I needed to return an inexpensive item that I had purchased early which was defective. Rather than simply offer a replacement she insisted on making buy a new one at full price. I didn't even consider the possibility that Leslie would not stand by a product that was defective and less than 2 months old. BE VERY CAREFUL BUYING HERE. You could end up paying twice for a defective product AND. have to deal with a very rude clerk to boot. read more

One guy on the register who was also responsible for doing water testing. At the rate we were going, it would take over an hour to purchase a $10 item. Mike is an a**h**e. He showed my husband this small pool vacuum we needed for a small pool. He didn't buy it yet coz he wanted to compare prices from the other store. The following day, my husband sent me to leslie's to get the vacuum. I went and looked fot the vacuum armed only with price he told me (39.99). I saw one where the price was placed and assumed it was the ine my husband told me. Mike rang me and to my surprise it came out at 59.99 and i said i just needed the $40 one and he told me they dont have it. I went back to the rack to saw that the one i grabbed was placed on the wrong price tag. I was perplexed coz my husband just went the day before and now he said they don't have it. I end up getting it anyway. When my husband found out what happened he called and Mike picked up and he casually asked if they have a small pool vacuum cleaner that is about $40 and he said yes and that's when my husband asked him why did he sell me this $60 vacuum if they have the $40 one that i actually told him i needed. Needless to say, the vacuum was returned, but we went to Tracy for the refund. This guy is very dishonest and would say anything to make a sale. There is nothing more important than money to this person. Customer service is non existent. read more

Caroline (sp?) at the Manteca location is great! We have had several interactions with her and each time she has been attentive to our needs. She is extremely knowledgeable regarding our repairs to pool pump/sweep, recommending and even helping us install the parts needed- she even went out of her way to transport a part we needed from another location. Once again, Caroline and Her staff have been outstanding in customer service. Upbeat, friendly and courteous. I don't know why other reviews were not positive. Every time I have gone in, I'm ALWAYS greeted with a smile ( maybe its because I usually have a joke or two to share lol ). I am usually there 1-2 times a month more often (obviously) in high use months. any time there has been a pool issue, the staff work diligently to find a resolution. Even when I call with an issue. Don't let Caroline leave this store. She has trained a great staff and will do all that is with her ability to solve the issue/take care of customers! read more
