I did my research, found Marquis to be among the elite brands and the bonus was that they are American made. We walked into Hot Tubs and Pool Tables Outlet in Manassas where we were very cordially greeted by Drew who was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful with everything from explaining specifications to the ownership experience and expert care and maintenance. Once we were told our Marquis Epic spa had arrived, delivery was prompt. Greg and his team placed the spa exactly where I wanted it and made sure that I was completely satisfied. Drew had recommended Electrical Connections, LLC, Nate is the master electrician, who had us hooked up in no time so that we were ready to enjoy our spa. Now I am proud to support American manufacturing and Marquis is employee owned, but on occasion there are glitches and we experienced a leak from one of the jets - after calling Dawn regarding this issue, it was addressed immediately by James, their service technician. He came out right away, identified the problem, called the manufacturer who sent him a plethora of parts to ensure a quick and correct fix. Needless to say that this issue was resolved expeditiously and was some of the best customer service I've ever encountered! We are enjoying our spa immensely and would strongly recommend Marquis spas that you can purchase from an expert dealer. The team at Hot Tubs and Pool Tables Outlet are second to none; Drew, Dawn, James and Greg made thus an exceptional experience. When I have a question or need anything, Drew and the team are very responsive and you will feel treated like family! I look forward to using my spa and getting supplies and service from Hot Tubs and Pool Tables Outlet! While our original experience and the delays remain unchanged, it is only fair to acknowledge their effort to make things better. After more than six weeks, our pool liner project is still not complete because Millennium Pools has measured the liner incorrectly multiple times. We are now waiting for a third liner and hoping it finally fits. To make matters worse, the company removed our old liner and left our pool empty and without a liner for two weeks while we wait for the replacement. What should have been a routine liner installation has turned into a lengthy and frustrating process. The company has offered no discount or compensation for the delays, inconvenience, or loss of use of our pool, despite the fact that the mistakes were entirely their own. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars with this company and expected better service, communication, and accountability. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Millennium Pools.

This review applies to the installation of a new pool filter; in general I am happy with my…read morein-store purchases from Leslie's. But their process for selling a major component borders on incompetence. I bought a new DE filter to replace an aging canister. The new filter required a multi-port valve, so I bought one of those, too. Leslie's could not schedule installation until after these items were delivered to the job site. Perhaps that is understandable, but it introduced a week of delay. A better solution would have been for the installer to bring the new filter and valve to the job site. When the Leslie's installer arrived, he complained that the staff at the store didn't know what they were doing and should not have sold me the filter without doing a pre-site inspection, and that he did not have the parts necessary to perform the installation. Instead of ordering the parts, he gave me a handwritten piece of paper and told me I had to go back to the store and buy the parts. He left without doing any work. But (surprise!) the store did not have the parts. This is not something arcane or expensive - it's just a coupling and literally every pool in the world requires couplings to install filters, heaters, cleaners, etc. Leslie's had to order the couplings, which will have to be shipped to the job site, introducing even more delay. Why doesn't Leslie's carry these little things in inventory on the truck? Now Leslie's informs me that the order for the couplings is delayed, so in the hottest time of the year I can't get my filter upgraded and must wait (how long?) for some little PVC part to show up, then I must reschedule the installation (how long?) and wait for the installer to show up. Taken together, this experience has been something nearly opposite of "customer service." A more competent approach might be available from a more professional pool service company. If you're thinking of buying an major component that requires installation by a pool technician, my advice is to ask a lot of questions about the process and timelines before you commit your money!

Over the years, I've engaged with Charlie, Justin and the rest of the staff at the Fairfax location on many occasions and have received nothing but polite, friendly and educational conversations and advice about spa care, replacement parts, tub covers and other topics to keep our spa in top shape. I'd highly recommmend buying from them for their dedicated service and professionalism. The only downside is the persistent cigarette smoke smell in the showroom as you walk in. He helped me assess whether it was more cost effective to repair or replace. He came out, fixed everything up and the total came in below estimate! His troubleshooting is incredible. When a later problem with the lights watchdogged the control board he diagnosed the problem to a single fuse over the phone. He sold me the fuse and showed me where to install it.
