The other cosmetologists seemed to be working equally hard to please their customers. They are all really classy and nice. The front desk girl was very nice also. I was pretty happy with my haircut. I also had a facial, which was my first ever and it was wonderful. It lasted an hour and the person doing it, Dee (I think) was really friendly, thorough, and seemed knowledgeable and thoughtful about her recommendations to me. She didn't automatically recommend the most expensive thing either (it was actually one of the less expensive ones), which makes me trust that she really cares about helping you address your skin issues and needs rather than just out to make money. My skin felt so awesome and my pores have not looked that good in a LONG time. I will definitely go back there again. What I didn't like: There was some scheduling issues between the different services (face, hair, massage, etc) so hopefully they can get that all in sync with one another to run more smoothly. I also didn't like that I was quoted $35 for a haircut by a junior stylist, but was charged $45. I did not say anything about it because they seem to be really hard working and I just didn't feel right trying to bargain about it, but they need to be clear how much things cost on the phone so that you don't get charged an unexpected amount after your service. And plus, $45/hour to cut hair is a little steep considering my husband had to work about three hours in the hot sun doing hard labor to earn the same money I paid her to do that. For that reason, I probably won't do haircuts there in the future. They don't have manis and pedis, but if they do get them, I will probably do that from time to time as well as a facial every once in a while because overall I like the place and people.

This is my second time this has happened to my nails from here. I am not sure why this is happening. I have been going to a different nail salon for years and I have never had this happen to me except when I come here. He did acrylics instead of the builder gel I asked for. Square shape instead of the round that I asked for. I should have stopped and asked clarified, but I was already really uncomfortable. At checkout, I told the lady at the front that I received acrylics, not the builder gel, just so that I could be charged appropriately. Ken came up to the front, got in my face, and was yelling at me that he did what I asked for. I still paid, still tipped, but will not be coming back here after being spoken to like that.
