I love this place- from the HOT water to soak, the HOT rocks on my back, the lady crawling and grinding her knees in my back- heaven to me and for many people that enjoy deep tissue. But do not come her expecting a relaxing massage unless you don't have any knots. This place is where you go to get your knots taken care of. If you don't want HOT water or deep tissue- TELL THEM RIGHT AWAY and you will both be happy. Every time has been clean and the ladies are very nice. And for the $30 combo/hour? You can not go wrong. Basically, if you tip $10 - you're getting a fantastic total body massage for one full hour at $40! Bargain!

I was able to book an immediate appointment, with just the amount of time it took me to drive from…read moremy house to ML, and I was in. As far as I could see/tell, there was the only single person, younger woman, working the afternoon. She was friendly and slight in stature, I was actually a bit worried about the massage I would be getting because of her size. I opted for a 90minute massage, 1 hour body, and 30 minutes foot, which I desperately needed. I needn't have worried about her strength, this woman was STRONG, so strong that I actually found my self wincing in pain from the massage. I finally had to tell her to go a little softer, which she immediately did, but then the phone rang. Interruption # 1. She quickly took care of the phone call and got back to the massage, but the phone rang again, interruption #2. Again she was quick about the call, but then when she returned, I think she forgot I asked her to go softer, because she was back at massaging with brute force, as if I were a football player needing the most intense massage after a game. Interruption # 3 came in the form of someone coming in the front door, I needed to adjust my body, so I didn't mind this one. Each time she stepped away, she was back quickly and immediately started where she left off, I have to admit, I was getting perturbed at the interruptions and told myself if another one happened, I was going to get up and get dressed and just leave. Sure enough, interruption #4, again the door. I thought about somehow voicing my displeasure about the interruptions, but I felt like I was close to the hour mark and let it go. There were 2 more interruptions, totaling 6 interruptions, and there was no adjustment to my time on the table, so I am guessing between the 6 interruptions, I was out at least 6 -7 minutes, but I chalk it up to a learning lesson. I will say, she did a fantastic job on my skull, I think she could have massaged my head for an entire 30 minutes and I wouldn't have minded at all. The foot massage was not what I was expecting either. There was no soaking my feet in hot water for a few minutes like I have experienced at pretty much every other place I have gone for a foot/body massage. She did a decent job on my feet, but I definitely felt my feet got the short end of the deal. Would I go back? Would I recommend? I do not think I will go back, and I will say if you want a really deep strong massage, this is a good place for that, but it's not for me.

Our therapist, Bella was absolutely fantastic professional, kind, and very skilled. She paid close attention to our problem areas without us even having to explain much, and her technique and pressure were perfect the entire time. We usually have to drive all the way across town to Chinatown to get a good foot massage but now we won't have to make that trek. Walking into the spa we were pleasantly greeted with a sweet essential oil coming out of a vapor and by Elaine (who I think is the owner). She is so sweet and took the time to explain the different services they offer. She then led us to the backroom where there are four seats on each side and flat screens above each area. What I like about this place is that they have a door separating the massage room from the reception area so you aren't disturbed by people coming in. The therapists are considerate of their clients - they speak in barely audible voices to one another if necessary. They also offer sleeping masks to completely eliminate any light and a set of headphones to enjoy your own soundscape. My therapist, James, is really good! I don't like firm massages and when I asked him to apply medium pressure, he actually listened and would ask from time to time if the pressure was okay, unlike other therapists.
