It's been awhile and time to update Leslie's Pool Supplies. The lovely missus has her list. Spa Stain and Scale, 2lb Dry Acid NB, 1lb Chlor Brite NB. At first as we walked in, we couldn't find the items. We then asked Andrea at the counter for help. She guided the missus and helped her with all of the items. We brought out the mailed coupon for 15% discount. It is a perk if you frequent Leslie's for all your spa supplies. We thanked Andrea for the service we received. Supplies are limited at this location and so is the Customer Service. The customer service is pretty rough. She's not very helpful a little condescending which can ruin your whole day. So if you're in a good mood, ready to go swimming in your pool, get a little chemicals embrace yourself before you walk in because she may possibly ruin your whole day. Try not to let it. They arrived a few minutes after closing because I hit a stop later too and I asked her if I could please just grab one thing and she said no!!!! it's the same lady that was working in the day and no one closing at night. I brought a water sample to get tested. And I don't know her name but whoever was working today 4/6 at 12:15pm was not helpful at all. It was my first time and when I asked questions about the sample she just said " it's on the back" ok then when I asked where's the acid she said we keep it in the front. I couldn't find it so I just left. She wasn't friendly from the beginning. read more

Salesperson Maria Z was totally useless. I told her I needed a basket for my pool pump. I showed her what kind I needed on a picture. She said she couldn't look it up. I told her i needed an O-ring and she also didn't want to look it up or didn't know how. Made absolutely no effort to help. She didn't even pretend to want to help. She looked like I interrupted her TIKTOK. I don't think I'll go back there unless I already know exactly what I need. And I'll check Amazon first. Terrible customer service. read more

Seems the right hand doesn't communicate with any other hand in the entire company. Asked multiple times with 3 different numbers, one I think was in India, one with Manny, the technician himself to install a new heater after I paid for a new motor/pump install (which he did a great job on) but he couldn't get it to work because of my old heater. Knowing I needed a new heater so he could finish the job I asked 4 different people at the company during the 2 weeks leading to the earliest appointment , and he still drove 50 miles to my house without the heater, wasted my time and his. I guess he gets paid either way so he got paid to not install my heater. And I went with a different company ~ Orange County Pool and Spa. Unless you have weeks and weeks to burn in horrible communication, just do the same. read more

I came into this location and asked for help with regulating the water in my pool. The man said I don't want to sell you stuff you don't need. He asked me to bring in a water sample. I greatly appreciate his honesty. It is so rare to see that. It only cost $25 to treat my water when my son brought in a sample the next day. I will now be a loyal customer. read more

So we just got a hot tub and I needed help balancing the chemicals. I have 2 young children and I wanted to make sure everything was mixed right and safe for them. After calling multiple pool and spa services who were of no help, I decided to call Leslie's to see if they could maybe point me in the right direction. Upon calling, I was kindly greeted by Sam, who could not have been more helpful, patient, and professional! Sam said if I could bring in a sample of my hot tub water, he would be happy to test it and tell me exactly what I needed. When I arrived at Leslie's, I had my 2 year old son with me. Sam was extremely kind, and got to work testing my water, he explained that the test will take a few minutes, so I decided to hangout in the store. At this time, I get a business call that is urgent and I must take it, and my 2 year old starts playing with every ball in the store, and running around, causing a ruckus. Sam was not bothered, and let us do our thing. When I got off the phone and grabbed my son, our water test was complete. Sam printed a report detailing exactly what we need, and we were on our way! I was shocked at how helpful their water test service was, and that is was no charge, but mostly, stoked on the service. Sam was so cool, helpful, and never made us feel like a burden! I started going to the FV location about 2yrs ago until the HB location opened up.Let me tell you,it wasn't easy switching over even though it was across the street from my house.Bob at FV was my go to guy for 2yrs always went out of his way to help me with my water test,creeper,parts.. I finally made my way over to the HB location and met Carlos.What a great guy!! Carlos exceeded my expectations on customer service and his knowledge on pools.Carlos walked me through the steps I needed to get my pool up to speed after I drained it for plaster.I was in there ever other day for my water test to get the salt and Chlorine where it needed to be.Funny..now when I go in there I feel like I made a friend :) Your the man Carlos!! read more

I bought a jacuzzi filter about 4 months ago on line at the store 2 weeks later I got the wrong filter and I also bought a jacuzzi cover I give the description of what I need it to the sales person at the store 2 months later I got my jacuzzi cover and it was all wrong ones again it's been almost 5 months still haven't received my 510 dollars refund because they don't give money back at the store when it is a special order they toll me to call corporate I call them many times and our chat on line always get cut off when they put me on hold I sure have listen to my friends when he told me not to do any business with Leslie's pool supplies sucks 5 months no money or product back. read more

I needed help with my pool pump and got the best possible service from this new Leslie' s at Goldenwest and Edinger. Carlos twice provided the labor for free on the motor/pump when I brought it in to have the impeller and then the gasket replaced. That labor could easily have been $100 each at other places. I only use the Leslie's to take care of my pool. Every time I go in the staff is more than accommodating. They keep my pool spotless, sparkling in the summertime perfect use. They make the process of maintaining a pool effortless. Bring in the sample water, they test it and develop a plan to keep the pool pristine. You just have to follow the plan and you are good to go. When it came to maintenance I called and asked what I should do and they hooked me up with the scheduling department and now I have someone here to work on my pool. I have done a lot of business with this store since it opened at this location. I have found Carlos to be a great resource in helping me resolve pool issues. Most recently, I needed to replace a pool light, and although he didn't have the needed model in stock, he called around to other stores and was able to locate one at another store some distance away. He arranged to have someone pick it up and drive back to the store, which allowed me the ability to finish the project. They could have simply just placed the special order for the light, which would have delayed completion of my project, but rather took the initiative to find an alternative to help me out. read more

This review is based on the two occasions when I dealt with a young man there working in the evening who has a blonde buffont type hair style. The first time I had that misfortune of dealing with him I went in to buy my grandson the large pizza pool raft. I asked him if he could please blow it up for me and he acted like it was a huge inconvenience. I'm sorry, but if I'm paying $50.00+for a raft, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask that it be blown up. The Store was equipped with equipment to do so so I don't know what the big deal was. The next time I had the misfortune of dealing with this young man was last Friday when my husband our four-year-old grandson and myself entered the store to get my grandson a pool toy. We walked in, he did not say hello, he did not say can I help you find anything?. Nope, the only thing he said to us was, I'm closing in a few minutes. If it would not have tremendously disappointed a small child, we would've turned around and walked out. Someone needs to teach this young man about customer service. read more

I went in 10 days ago to see if I could get a quote for a new heater and electronics system for my pool (about a $6,000 job). They told me that it would cost $74 for someone to come out to give me a quote and they could not come out for 10 days. The other quotes I received were free and quick. I received a call on Friday night that they would be here between 8:00 - noon on Monday. I called back to confirm and to let them know that I needed to take my kids to school in the morning if they could make the window from 9:00 - noon. They said "no". I said that I would make arrangements to have someone here. My husband stayed home from work so someone was here from 8:00 - noon. At noon no one had showed up. I called corporate and they said that they switched my time to afternoon. When I asked for a refund, they told me I had to talk to the store. When I called the store, they said that I had to come in to the store for my refund. I have wasted 10 days when the project could have been done by someone else who cares about customer service. I will never do business with Leslie's. read more
