Our friends recommended Orange County Night Lights and we could not be happier with our decision…read more Matt, the owner, was amazing from start to finish. My wife and I communicated with Matt for a few days before deciding on the final project. We sent Matt photos of the front of our home and he sent us a mock up of what he recommended for our outdoor light installation. We went with his recommendation and were so pleased with the experience and the end result. Matt came out to our home the following week and completed the installation in one day. We decided to work with Matt because he is an artist. Matt is not simply a landscaper or electrician, he is a designer skilled in the utilization of lighting to elevate the curb appeal of a home. Matt is a professional that takes pride in his craft and is simply the best. Beyond that, he is kind and genuinely wonderful to work with. It has been a few weeks and my wife and I continue to be in awe every time we pull up to our home. We can't wait to work with him on future projects and recommend OC Night Lights to anyone looking for the best design & installation team for landscape lighting!

Only issue with the company is I sent in 1 request with 2 repairs including pictures. The quote was pretty high for (1) connecting a hall LED light that was already purchased and (2) changing a motion detection light switch to a normal flip switch (which I did not have the parts for). When the technician arrived, he informed me that the quoted price $350 was for only one of the items. He wasn't aware of the additional repair and would normally have to charge me $175 but would give me a discount and only charge $125. So a total of $475 for less than an hours work. I'm buying a new home that needs a new breaker box, canned lights and additional plugs installed. I can't give them that work because I can't imagine what charges/up-charges I'd be looking at! Yikes!

We had already selected our appliances, cabinets, quartz (color palette) and showed him our renderings. I explained I was looking for a simple yet stunning pendent lamp to hang over our dining room table and was considering the ginger black and white pendant lamp by Marset. Glen took the time to sit with us and reviewed our plans and offered his opinion. We were happy to hear he thought the lamp would work. When it arrived we were so pleased. When I was in need of Glen's expertise once again in terms of the approximate placement of the lamp above the dining room table he responded quickly. He took into consideration how the light should shine on the table. Both my husband and I were very happy to work with Glen.

Other companies either told me what I wanted wasn't doable or flaked on the scheduled appointment. I told Jody I needed a Tesla Wall Mounted into the garage. it was a complicated process because of old panels but the work around was to make a sub panel dedicated to the EV Charger. I asked if he can slide me in his busy schedule rather than waiting a week. He asked why I was in a hurry to get it done and I told him "I HATE CHARGING AT SUPER CHARGERS and I'm off on Thursday" .... Needless to say, Jody slid me in his schedule 2 days later instead on Thursday and got the job done in under an hour. I highly recommend Jody .
