    The worker there on Sunday appears very unhappy. The young guy I see on week days is nice, though.

    I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received with balance wellness…read more I had my first prenatal massage appointment November 21st with Tammy which was a lovely massage and booked a second appointment for December 20th. A few days after booking I realized I was unable to make the appointment, because I had family in town and called to cancel November 28th. The call went to voicemail and I left a detailed message to cancel the appointment and why I was no longer available. I never received a call back. A few weeks later I called again to try to rebook a couples massage and the call went to voicemail. I did not leave a voicemail this time as I was running errands and wanted to speak to someone about the booking. I received email for the missed appointment and was charge for $164. I called to discuss what happened and got their voicemail again. I left a voicemail for their manager to call me back and received a called from Julie a couple days later telling me she'd speak to Ben the owner about it. I sent them a screenshot of my call log, so they could see I made the calls. Julie called back to inform me that there's nothing they could do about it, except offer me half off a couples massage. Julie added they have had issues with their phone systems, but didn't know the dates they were having issues. If you are having issues with your phone system that's not my fault. You should take accountability and make it right for the customer. If you don't have a receptionist to answer calls and you have known phone system issues you need to provide others ways of booking/canceling appointments.

    will not return and would not recommend this business…read more I chose Aurora Medical Spa based on its positive reviews, but my experience was the opposite. I went in seeking treatment for dark circles under my eyes. After a consultation, I proceeded with Vitti Pure and Dysport injections at a cost of $1,200. At no point during the consultation was I informed of potential side effects, only the expected benefits. Four days after the procedure, I began experiencing significant vision issues, including double vision, blurred vision, light sensitivity, balance issues and a feeling that my eyes were misaligned. On day six, I contacted the spa because my symptoms were not improving. At that point, they acknowledged that these side effects are known risks and said I "should" have been informed beforehand. I was not. Had I been properly informed, I would not have moved forward with the treatment. I then visited an eye doctor (out of pocket), who explained that these symptoms can occur if the injection is placed too deep or in the wrong area, weakening the surrounding eye muscles. I was told the effects could last approximately six weeks until the injections wear off. In addition to the complications, I have seen no improvement in the dark circles I originally sought treatment for. I was told results would require more time and additional treatments, which I will not be pursuing. This experience reflects a lack of proper disclosure and has resulted in both physical discomfort and additional cost. Based on this, I cannot recommend this business.
