I did all that, than was told that it might be the cover causing the leak, "Really", finally I was told that it would be several weeks before someone could come out and was given an appointment date. On the appointment date, I was told that it was canceled and I was push back a week because someone had quit, it was pool season and someone should of call to tell me. Finally, someone did showed up only to tell me that they couldn't find the leak and that it needed to be drain and put on blocks so they can see if it was leaking under the center and that it might be the cover since it was foaming up when the pump runs. I told the technician that it isn't the cover and we can drain and fill the tub back up so he could see for himself but he didn't want to do that and said that he wasn't going back and forth with me on the matter. He said that he would call it in and they will set me a new appointment. I call service only to be told that it would be several week again and that I needed to drain and fill the hot tub up and let run 24 hours to see if it was still leaking and if so, to call for an appointment. I expressed my dissatisfaction that I spent $10'700 for a defective Hot Tub that leaks and can't get quality service. As of today, the problem is still not resolved.

When I contacted them about the issue, they initially wanted to charge me both a restocking fee and return shipping--even though the error wasn't mine. After some back and forth, they agreed to waive the restocking fee, but still insisted I pay for return shipping. The shipping cost is nearly half of what I originally paid, which just doesn't seem fair considering it was their mistake. I expected better customer service and accountability. Mistakes happen, but customers shouldn't be the ones footing the bill for it.

We knew this project would not be an easy and relatively average pool installation because of the shape and drainage issues we have. We found it interesting that every contractor had different ideas and opinions on everything from the overall layout to the equipment and upkeep. After all was said and done, we narrowed the selection to Mid-South Pool Builders and Serenity Hardscapes. Both fell directly in the middle of the quote range and were only $70 apart on the final quote. After careful consideration, the final decision was not that difficult. June at Mid-South Pool Builders was dead on with her 3-D rendering of the completed project. We made a couple minor changes, but they found a way to give us exactly what we had envisioned as the completed project. I would recommend them if you are in the market for a gunite pool. They are also A+ rated on BBB. We are looking forward to getting this started. We will post updates later.

I wish I had thought to take the picture before I turned on the hose! The pictures show what it looked like after filling up for an hour! Quantum Pool said they "would see if the could get someone by in the next few days. In other words, they couldn't care less. I called Precision Polls desperate to find someone to fix the problem Dane took my call and was at our house in about an hour, immediately realized what was happening for the most part and fixed the leak before leaving. I had to ask him if he would take over servicing the pool! To say he didn't hard sell me is an understatement. Precision Pools is very consumer conscious about fees (even recommended that we drop to two visits a month until the weather gets hot again, saving me a ton of money. Dane in one day made me a fan and I already called someone I know at Quantom Pools to tell them about this Precision Pools and how easy they were to deal with. The really great thing is they also do landscaping work. I have found a company that can two jobs to replace people I have been frustrated with in the past.

Our pool pump decided to quit…read moreon a Friday night just as we were about to get extremely cold temperatures in the next few days. I couldn't get ahold of our pool builder and most pool service companies were closed for the weekend. Major damage could have occurred with our pool without the pump running for freeze protection. I got ahold of Justin at All Clean Pools on Saturday morning. He said he had a pump in stock and quoted us a fair price for the repair. His technician wasn't able to get to our place until it was getting dark because they had other pools to service. The technician worked from 8pm until 10:30 in the dark and bitter cold to get a new pump installed and everything is now in working order. They really saved us from possible major repairs and I highly recommend All Clean Pools.

I went back - when I got there the store was open, but completely empty. After about 5 minutes, the person who was supposed to be working walked in with a cookie from Subway. She blamed leaves or rain, neither of which have been a factor, since Saturday. I asked her what we needed to do and, mid-question, she turned to answer the phone without any regard to the fact that she was helping me. After she finally got off of the phone, I started to ask her again what we needed to do, when another customer walked in and I again got her back, mid-sentence. After waiting 10 minutes for her to finish with the other customer, I left. There are plenty of other options in town. As much as I like to support businesses in my city, I will not be back to them and will take my business to Bartlett.
