We wanted to compare the results with what Mario's Pool Supply said. So on the same day we brought in water to have it tested at Mario's. We were told that only one thing was wrong...the calcium levels. We believe him because we have seen calcium spots in the pool. We ended up spending $49 on what we needed. We felt like they were knowledgeable and honest and didn't try to sell us products we didn't need. We will definitely be trusting Mario's with our pool supply needs!

I've got to say, "Travis" (the Manager), was extremely helpful, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and their prices were better than my usual pool company. He was very happy to allow me to demo the pool cleaner and he took his time to make sure I had all of the information to operate the demo machine and that I had all of the literature and information to make my decision going forward. After my experience with Pool Sharks and Travis I can't help but think that the one bad review of "Travis" (written by Matthew B" must have been some personal vindictive situation because the "Travis" he described in his review was nothing like the "Travis" I experienced in about three occasions while shopping at Pool Sharks. We knew this project would not be an easy and relatively average pool installation because of the shape and drainage issues we have. We found it interesting that every contractor had different ideas and opinions on everything from the overall layout to the equipment and upkeep. After all was said and done, we narrowed the selection to Mid-South Pool Builders and Serenity Hardscapes. Both fell directly in the middle of the quote range and were only $70 apart on the final quote. After careful consideration, the final decision was not that difficult. June at Mid-South Pool Builders was dead on with her 3-D rendering of the completed project. We made a couple minor changes, but they found a way to give us exactly what we had envisioned as the completed project. I would recommend them if you are in the market for a gunite pool. They are also A+ rated on BBB. We are looking forward to getting this started. We will post updates later.

Pricing was somewhat negotiable but don't expect anything greater than 10% in discounts. Delivery - Spa was set up and delivered. Expect an all day delivery window initially then a call to narrow down. Placement and set up was quick. This is where the service/delivery rep flunked and needs to go over controls, filling, draining, filter replacement, warranty, etc., with the customer. The rep only showed me how to fill it and that was it and he was in a rush to go. Warranty - Have had a couple of issues, one minor (due to incorrect procedure explained by service rep over the phone), the other caused the Spa to be unusable.
