I was a little apprehensive about trying Pool Sharks due to the one (at the time) Yelp review I…read moreread from "Matthew B". However, I tried them during the COVID-19 Pandemic in the midst of my search for a new robotic pool cleaner. I've got to say, "Travis" (the Manager), was extremely helpful, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and their prices were better than my usual pool company. He was very happy to allow me to demo the pool cleaner and he took his time to make sure I had all of the information to operate the demo machine and that I had all of the literature and information to make my decision going forward. After my experience with Pool Sharks and Travis I can't help but think that the one bad review of "Travis" (written by Matthew B" must have been some personal vindictive situation because the "Travis" he described in his review was nothing like the "Travis" I experienced in about three occasions while shopping at Pool Sharks. I've had multiple Great customer service experiences with Pool Sharks!

I went back - when I got there the store was open, but completely empty. After about 5 minutes, the person who was supposed to be working walked in with a cookie from Subway. She tested my pool water and told me "everything" was wrong with it. I asked how that could be, since they just told me how to "fix" it on Saturday? She blamed leaves or rain, neither of which have been a factor, since Saturday. I asked her what we needed to do and, mid-question, she turned to answer the phone without any regard to the fact that she was helping me. After she finally got off of the phone, I started to ask her again what we needed to do, when another customer walked in and I again got her back, mid-sentence. After waiting 10 minutes for her to finish with the other customer, I left. There are plenty of other options in town. As much as I like to support businesses in my city, I will not be back to them and will take my business to Bartlett.

From the install and having to double check their every job to having to make them redo several things that were not done to specs, to having the city inspector failing the electrical 5 times- we do NOT recommend this company. I couldn't get ahold of our pool builder and most pool service companies were closed for the weekend. Major damage could have occurred with our pool without the pump running for freeze protection. I got ahold of Justin at All Clean Pools on Saturday morning. He said he had a pump in stock and quoted us a fair price for the repair. His technician wasn't able to get to our place until it was getting dark because they had other pools to service. The technician worked from 8pm until 10:30 in the dark and bitter cold to get a new pump installed and everything is now in working order. They really saved us from possible major repairs and I highly recommend All Clean Pools.

For those interested in learning the great sport of SCUBA, you will not find a more knowledgeable group of professionals. As awesome and safe as SCUBA is in the 21st century, without proper training it is still dangerous. So, when one's life depends on skills and equipment knowledge one should seek out those who can impart those life preserving skills the best and that would be The Dive Shop! On top of that, Randy and his crew, across the board, treat everyone like family and long lost friends as soon as you walk through the door! Their service department is second to none as well, so if you are already certified and just need your equipment brought up to date you can count on them to do it right and do it quickly.

If you're reading this - you probably fit under one or more of the following: 1) You're considering becoming a diver, 2) You're a diver new to the area; 3) You need to find a local place to service or buy equipment. I think I can recommend them on all these points. I got qualified as a diver there in 2008. They've answered my questions, given me advice. The training has prepared me for events both expected and not, thus enabling me to have fun instead of fear. In short, they've literally kept me alive. They have instructors with varying personalities. I think it's safe to say that all of them have the skills to help you gain certification/improve. However, they all have different personalities. I'd recommend asking about that - perhaps even going as far as interviewing instructors to gauge compatibility. They've arranged purchases and travel, even when I wasn't buying from them. Some items can be bought cheaper through the internet, but we will always need a local shop to provide pool training, fill our tanks and such, so I frequent them to help keep them open. They organize group dive trips to exotic locations at a fair price. During the summer they get small groups to go to local quarries so you can both practice and gain friendships. I met my primary dive buddy in this manner (having a dive buddy allows you to dive more often!). They're not perfect, but they're all about encouraging/enabling you to get out and dive. Can't ask for more than that.

Overdue review for marble kitchen counters and island installed in May 2014. The marble itself…read morewas beautiful. However, the marble backsplash was NOT even close to parallel to wall. Their offer to "fix" it included a couple of teenagers sloppily squirting caulk into uneven gap, which collapsed within 45 minutes after they left. I ended up inserting pieces of wood into gap to support caulk and caulked it myself. This looks okay, but the gap goes from flush with wall on one end of kitchen counter to a full half inch or more gap on the far corner. American Granite assured me this was not their fault, it was because "my wall was crooked." Ummm, okay, maybe this is true but not obvious to naked eye. Even if true, after speaking to other experts in field my gut instinct that this was horrible excuse was confirmed. Original countertop WAS flush with wall, so seems something that should have been taken into account during measurements. I am very trusting and busy person, so made mistake of paying in full up front. Because of this, their management had no incentive to ensure my satisfaction and frankly did not seem to give a s*** about how horrible it looked and how condescending their excuse was. The clearly thought I was an idiot. Not a general contractor, but I am quite intelligent. Only reason I did not take this to court was because not worth time or energy to me just to make a point out of principle. My recourse is telling my story. I have NOTHING to gain, not in granite business and gave up on AGM doing anything to make this right over a year ago. I work in pharmaceutical industry. I have no one else to specifically recommend. I will again say granite itself was beautiful, so may be good source of granite if you can get someone else to make measurements and install. The installation will be done by young men of questionable skills, not the business owner or manager (Mark) who you first meet with. Mark shook my hand, looked me in the eye, and promised the work would be top notch regardless of whether I paid upfront to save myself a trip or held 50% final payment. Mark seemed like great guy until after work was done and his check cleared. I also understand they have many great reviews--which is why I hired them. Just don't pay in full up front, because once Mark is paid he couldn't care less about your satisfaction (actions speak louder than words). Maybe if you threaten legal action, but I did not.
