Went back in on Sunday to have the same lady keep her back turned to us while another individual test our water. The individual told her that she is the one who recommended doing what we did when the lady asked, "Who told them that??". She would not look at us or acknowledge us. Rightly so when you see the shitshow we are dealing with. A guy came up and suggested we drain our pool.... Along with the money we spent on chemicals in the nasty pool water. As several folks mentioned, Richard is very nice all the way up to signing a deal (you can get in contact with him anytime). But, once the contract is signed, good luck. Mr. Arrogant comes out! Usually if he doesn't answer his phone, it's because he made promises and doesn't keep them. So, naturally you call the office to get answers, then he get's mad. His office folks said this is a huge complaint from customers. Often times Richard referred to his Hispanic employees in a derogatory way. I caught him in numerous lies. For instance, after numerous delays, he was supposed to be at our house for tile tile/coping/stone work but told me we were on hold waiting for tile. So, I called the tile company. Guess what, the tile company told me the tile has been sitting there waiting for pick-up. Here's some but not all issues related to the pool construction we encountered; Numerous items were not completed according to contract or verbal agreement, Richard dumped dirt/concrete on City property without the City's nor my permission (I gave the dirt to the city after numerous promises by Richard to remove it. He has yet to pick up the concrete), stone from concrete wall fell, water does not drain on concreted walk around pool properly, he installed 3 LED lights instead of 4 per contract, Sheer descents were placed in incorrect position per diagram, rebar was placed in cinderblock for stone walls but they were filled with dirt rather than concrete, overspray from concrete on brick & furniture has not been cleaned, final grading of yard was not done, I had to get an electrician to wire smart panel, the office tried to overcharge us for electrical,. I could go on & on. Bottom line, I wouldn't recommend Richard to my worst enemy. I wonder why he changed company names multiple times? Um...... According to the BBB; Cobblestone Pools & Construction does not have a TN Home Improvement License. This license is required for home improvement projects costing over $3,000 in several Tennessee counties.

Precision Pools is a life saver. I woken up up Friday to a half empty pool. I wish I had thought to take the picture before I turned on the hose! The pictures show what it looked like after filling up for an hour! Quantum Pool said they "would see if the could get someone by in the next few days. In other words, they couldn't care less. I called Precision Polls desperate to find someone to fix the problem Dane took my call and was at our house in about an hour, immediately realized what was happening for the most part and fixed the leak before leaving. I had to ask him if he would take over servicing the pool! To say he didn't hard sell me is an understatement. Precision Pools is very consumer conscious about fees (even recommended that we drop to two visits a month until the weather gets hot again, saving me a ton of money. Dane in one day made me a fan and I already called someone I know at Quantom Pools to tell them about this Precision Pools and how easy they were to deal with. The really great thing is they also do landscaping work. I have found a company that can two jobs to replace people I have been frustrated with in the past.

Over the past couple months, we have been working on getting quotes from pool contractors for a…read moregunite pool installation in our back yard. We knew this project would not be an easy and relatively average pool installation because of the shape and drainage issues we have. We found it interesting that every contractor had different ideas and opinions on everything from the overall layout to the equipment and upkeep. After all was said and done, we narrowed the selection to Mid-South Pool Builders and Serenity Hardscapes. Both fell directly in the middle of the quote range and were only $70 apart on the final quote. After careful consideration, the final decision was not that difficult. June at Mid-South Pool Builders was dead on with her 3-D rendering of the completed project. We made a couple minor changes, but they found a way to give us exactly what we had envisioned as the completed project. I would recommend them if you are in the market for a gunite pool. They are also A+ rated on BBB. We are looking forward to getting this started. We will post updates later.

The people doing the work are just there for a check and don't care about you or your equipment, or your pool. Wally is a small business owner and he definitely cares.
