I mentioned to Chris that something went awry after we tried to secure the cover of the Nest thermostat (it was loose from the wall). The AC had worked before but after doing something with the cover, the AC stopped working. Chris quickly found the problem (a fuse had blown out). Chris was very professional, gave me some ideas on a Honeywell thermostat (we're not BIG fans of the new NEST thermostat), showed me how to read the error codes on our furnace (watch the number of red light flashes and compare it to the brochure left with the furnace). It was easy, peasy, even someone like me who has no HVAC experience could do this. I can't thank Chris enough for his great personality, true professionalism, answered my questions, taught me a few things (learning something new is always good) and even loved on my 2 labs (turns out we both love animals). He did what seemed like field surgery on our 30+ year old furnace, ending at 10pm on a Saturday night! Not only he did restore heat to our home, he may have saved our lives.  He discovered a gaping hole in the exhaust pipe that was hidden, which could have been deadly!  We'll be calling him in the spring for a quote on a new furnace.
