Annual A/C service. Arrived on time. Friendly and professional technician. He even helped my wife catch our runaway dog! We are always happy with Roper. read more

They came to inspect our HVAC, claimed it was leaking and out of refrigerant. Told our Home warranty that the whole system needs to be replaced. Turns out it was just faulty air filters. Total cash grab by this company trying to rip off our warranty company and then tried to get us to pay for it! read more

From the initial contact to them leaving my driveway, was an exceptional experience. I called Monday morning to request an estimate. The lady I spoke with actually saved us from making a HUGE costly mistake. Kudos to you girl! That afternoon they arrived to check our system. SO glad we followed their suggestion. The estimate was way more than fair. Count us in! Thursday, they installed (fast) I expected a much longer wait. With temperatures rising this was a concern. Their shared concern for our wellbeing was the selling point. The gentlemen arrived and got to work. I pretty much didn't really notice their presence. They were thorough and timely. The areas were left clean, and all trash was removed. Polite, knowledgeable. It's always a concern to me to have strangers come to our home. These guys put me at ease. This experience was exceptional. I will recommend Ropers to everyone. Thank you, Ropers for an excellent experience. read more

Not only do they provide excellent customer service and support, but they do spectacular work. Ropers kept my almost 30 year old HVAC going for as long as possible with numerous repairs and maintenance, and just installed a new unit at a very reasonable price with monthly payments that my fixed budget can afford. I can't say enough nice things about this company, especially Vanessa who helped so very much! I've used other companies in the past, and they are by far, the very best! read more

I saw the ad on the side of a "Roper" service truck driving home in Dayton. ! noted they are local, CC, NV. Called Jamie & set up an appointment for a service request for HVAC. Joe, the Tech, showed up on time & completed a check on both heat & air. He found 2 minor issues & repaired them & came back later that day as it warmed up to recheck the air. Very please with the service & Joe explaining all his work to me. Very satisfied with the work & cost. Gary W. read more

Upon a home inspection I was told that I needed a new heater. After calling my home warranty company and finding out that they would not pay to replace it I called Roper's. Jamie was so helpful. She got me a new heater and in record time. Trevor and Jared came out to remove the old one and install the new one. They were very professional and courteous. I finally have peace of mind. BTW I still haven't heard from the warranty company. I would highly recommend Ropers's. They are all awesome. read more

Excellent response. I called this morning to schedule a tech, the receptionist asked me to hold for a moment and said she had a tech already in the area. Boom! Three weeks ago, my wife and I meet with Dirk Roper (owner) to obtain a bid to supply heating and air conditioning to our new house we are building in Wellington. We were there for over an hour going over the plans. Dirk was taking notes as we went over the heating and cooling units, insulation, ducting of fans and hood vent, etc. He stated that he would get right on this and get back to us next week. Two weeks later, I have not received any response. I called and talked to (I think) the office manager. She stated that they were closing in 15 minutes, and she would call me in the morning. Again, no response. Today I went to retrieve our plans and I thank them for returning my phone call. The office manager went ballistic. She started screaming and cursing at me. I said, "you were the one that said you would call me back". She followed me out to the parking lot calling extremely vulgar names. Dirk had told us that he had wonderful employees and excellent service. If you choose to do business with Dirk, hope you find his wonderful employee and excellent service. read more

If I could make this six + stars I would. We have been using adopters for the last couple of years and have been very pleased with every service call. I decided to write a review because they really earned it. Today's call was to do annual service on our home's central a/c unit. The price to do so is fair, and the two technicians who came could not have been nicer and more professional. Raoul and Jared made a good pair to get the job done fast and fight. These kind young men actually made our day! Please consider using Roper's. If you're lucky, they will send Raoul and Jared. read more

Great service and great staff! They responded in a timely way to my need for service. The technician knew exactly what was needed.

Roper's just installed a brand-new heater/air conditioner in our office at my place of work; Rupert's Gemcutting, and they did a great job! They were very professional, friendly, timely, reasonably priced and just really great to work with. Mr. Roper himself came over for the initial consultation and he was thorough, kind, and very professional. He and his whole team were really great to work with. We couldn't be happier with the service they provided! From one long standing locally owned and operated small business to another; thanks, Ropers!!! read more

I highly recommend. Friendly and fast service. Very caring. My ac unit is working Great! Thank you so much Mr. Roper you are Awesome!!

I had James over yesterday to do an HVAC inspection on a rental I'm selling. He was courteous, fast and thorough. He removed his shoes on the new carpet when he saw me do the same. So appreciated. I mentioned the home inspector noted smelling gas by the drier, and he offered to check with his gas detector. Definitely above and beyond. When you call to schedule, you'll talk to Jamie who is very professional and efficient. She even scheduled some time for me to talk to owner Dirk about the business. Can't go wrong with Roper. I'll use them again and refer them to clients whenever there is a need. read more

Called for an appointment to diagnose a commercial air conditioner not working. The tech Anthony (very professional and honest) was there the next day and diagnosed the problem quickly. He gave me several options to proceed based on costs. I chose the least expensive option and Anthony added refrigerant and in less than an hour the A/C was working great. He also changed the filter for me. All in all, this experience could not have gone any better and I will return for any AC/Heating needs. UPDATE: After 2 days of use the air conditioner stopped working. Previous tech said it may have a leak so I assumed the worst. I had another local shop take a look at it and they said there was no leak at all but a relatively inexpensive fix and they fixed it after another $200. Should have caught this the first time Roper's so I am changing my review to 3 stars. read more

I have always used and liked Roper's, but we had to get a new boiler installed recently and I am happier than ever! It's obvious that they take pride in their work and their problem-solving skills are off the charts! Now for the shout-outs...Raul and Trevor are not only good at their jobs, but also excel at customer service. Joey, Kevin and Lance were also there to make a huge job successful. This review would be incomplete if I didn't mention the consistently friendly office staff who were helpful and informative. They also went above and beyond to squeeze our installation in a very important day early. read more

Our furnace went out mid-Feb. 2017. Anthony came out and performed the serviced. We were charged a fair price for labor. Part was a little on the high end of the price range from what I can see online. Anthony was very thorough. During post install tests he found our unit was putting out 6ppm of carbon monoxide. Good to know but over 70ppm is cause for concern so I feel he was trying to scare my 86 year old father into the replacement estimate of $6k. Also, come summer the A/C wasn't cooling. Called our regular guy and for free he reconnected the wire. Hmm prelude to a summer service call. Seems fishy to me. read more

Try anyone else but them. Salespeople are commission-based & try to sell new unit, not to repair. They quoted repair $450 but I could buy a new unit installed for $1,000. They quoted $2000 installed for new unit. And the worst thing - call out charge $66 which is ok BUT then $120 for labor when they didn't fix anything. Maybe Hardesty's in Yerington to cover Yerington and Fallon? read more

These guys are the best... we just bought a house, it has hydronics (hot water is the heat source) and the control board and air handler were some weird old system from a company out of business. When it went bad, I had no idea where to turn. After two companies came out and went away with no answers, Darryl and Fred came out and re-designed a new system. The price was fair, they were punctual, polite and professional... everything was documented so I'd be able to address any future issues with some baseline. Highly recommend these guys, and I don't Yelp often. read more

I just recently had my air-conditioner unit serviced at the salon that I own and their technician Anthony did quite a lot to my unit. Anthony clean the coils, changed the filter and ran new wires from the unit on the roof to my thermostat in the salon.they also put in a new thermostat.Anthony was very thorough, competent and most of all courteous. I would also like to add that I didn't get raked over the coals financially. I'm definitely going to keep using this company. read more

We have no problems with the work that was done, however, the price was outrageous! Less than 2 hours was spent for a total labor charge of $289., plus a diagnostic charge of $79. (although we knew what the problem was), for a total of $368.00 ! We will not call them again. read more

I had an unusual ventilation problem involving indoor air quality. The installed ERV was not doing the job. Fallon sent out a knowledgeable rep who made actual measurements of the existing system and recommended a supplemental system. Our installation was a little unusual too, but they were very creative at finding effective solutions. The quality of work (installation) was very good as was attention to detail. In the end, their solution worked better than expected. They were a pleasure to work with. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is that they were a little slow and the installed price was a little higher than they originally quoted. It was worth the extra money. read more
