The service was handled unprofessionally and resulted in significant damage. Initially, they brok a lug nut while attempting to remove the tire. It was agreed to let them attempt to drill out the wheel stud, which was successful.  Unfortunately, following that, a  hammer was used with such force to free the rim from the hub that they split and cracked the rim.  Instead of providing a proper replacement or compensation for the damage they caused, my original chrome wheel was replaced with an inferior, mismatched part. I now have three chrome wheels and one that resembles a spare, and I have received no compensation for the damage to my car. As their incompetence caused the damage, I would expect they would replace the cracked rim with an identical, high-quality chrome wheel or providing full financial compensation for the replacement cost. While speaking with the manager, he offered nothing to make this right. Don't let this shop work on your car! read more

Had filled up my tires, due to the temperature change at a new air station at the local gas station. The air chuck compromised two of the air stem valves, on my tires. Took it to Les Schwab the next morning and the got both repaired. Alejandro was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He had the issue diagnosed promptly and did a thorough inspection of all four tires. He is truly the example of what a model, service tech should be. Excellent experience. I came in sure that my drum brakes were down to the steel because of the LOUD screeching when braking. I was quoted a very accurate wait time, and it was acceptable, especially since I didn't have an appointment. The service was great, and the Tech that helped me was very knowledgeable, and able to convey that knowledge to the customer in a simple, straightforward way. Purchased tires at discount tire for two of my cars and they do not do alignment. My wife and went to Les Schwab with each car one hour apart. We were told that both cars needed control arms with springs - cost about $900 for each car. They cannot align without doing all the work. Both cars had just been serviced at the dealership within a few weeks and nothing noted. I am now sitting back at the dealership (within a few hours of being told this news). Dealer has just told me that none of this work that was required for alignment at Les Schwab is necessary and they have performed a 4 wheel alignment. read more

I am an older lady and probably looked totally worn out. Looking all morning to get car in shape. Needed ac recharges, needed brakes and shocks check out. Had been to several places .Got oil change at one place, thought for sure when tires were rotated they could look at the brakes and shocks to let me know if worn out or not. NOPE. So went to another place, no help, they were short of mechanics and 3 weeks out. So went further down the road to LES SCHWAB, and they had plenty of mechanics working . Went in, everyone was friendly and so asked about the AC recharge, but they don't do that. But one person heard the conversation and said if I go down to the auto store, pick up the can of AC RECHARGE, said he would but it in for me. He didn't have to offer, he was just being helpful. So I did what he said and he did the recharger for me. Told him I was going into office, immediately said there's no charge. I told him I understood that, I am going in to make appointment for the other things I needed checked out. And then He said they are not high pressure sales, they will let me know honestly if anything was worn out and if I needed anything right now or not. AWESOME. That's when I decided, they won me over. I had this place do a lift and tires on my truck. I brought my own wheels which I bought direct from the factory. No this place is not the cheapest in town for tires. But the labor for installing shocks and the lift was very reasonable and they did a good job. No scratches on my chrome rims so I am very pleased. I had GCR Tire shop in Greeley steal stuff out of my work truck and then I talk to other customers who had the same thing happen. But Les Schwab didn't disturb anything inside my truck. read more

I booked an appointment online for an oil change for my Jeep. I had to input all of the specifications for my vehicle before being able to book the appointment. When I arrived the employee knew the exact year, make, model, engine, etc. He found my appointment as well as my vehicle in their computer and asked if I wanted the full synthetic oil change and I asked "how much would that be?" He said $105 so I agreed. When I picked up the vehicle the cost was $196. When I asked why it was $196 instead of $105 the employee indicated that the vehicle required a type of full synthetic oil that was $20 per quart. Considering they had all of my vehicle information before I even arrived, they should have known exactly what oil was required and given me an accurate quote of $196. Had I received a quote for $196 for an oil change I never would have had them do the work. When I commented to the employee that the price was "double" I never received any type of apology nor any acknowledgment from him that their mistake cost me $91. I looked online and amazon has a 6 pack of what I believe is the same oil they used. Amazon is selling 6 quarts for $46, vs the 5 quarts that cost me $100. Because Les Schwab is so close by I thought I would give them a try and possibly purchase tires there in the future for three vehicles, but after this experience they have definitely lost me as a customer. If others choose to go there I would highly recommend getting a written quote before any work is done, and that you get them to agree to contact you before doing any work that will cost more than the written quote. read more

I had to replace a loose cable on the cv axle that Les Schwab in Greeley had installed on my car last October. They honored the warranty and replaced the entire cv boot at no extra cost to me. The Assistant Manager, Sam, was so helpful, he even delivered the car to my home the following day after we found out they had to wait for the needed to be delivered from another town. Would not stand behind their word or warranty. Went in on Friday for an estimate on front-end work. They put on the estimate shocks for the front and rear. So when I went in for warranty replacement of the front shocks they would not do it after having said they would. They would have gladly charged me for them had I had the front-end work done for an outrageous price. Typical loading up an estimate with parts not necessary. Not a good place to do business. Con artists STAY AWAY! Got new tires from them 1 blew out the side wall in Denver which was on the front drivers side. Tried to claim warranty on it which still had 5.32 tread left and tire had even wear. I had an alignment done when I bought the tires and 6 months afterward as well, both times they did mention the rear alignment was slightly off but they couldn't fix but would not affect the warranty since it was very minor, yet when trying to claim warranty on a tire that blew out with even tread wear they blamed the alignment and would not honor their end of the deal. read more

They checked the balance sbd removed all 4 wheels and balanced them. It was part of the purchase agreement and there was no charge. This place is a RIP off. Up charged everytime I went in. During inspection said everything was good just needed brakes the next day when they changed the breaks said the front rotors were bad. Well why did you say they were good yesterday when you inspected them. Went from a couple 100 bucks to $800. Couple weeks later breaks started rattling couldn't get back cause of covid for 4 months now they wanna charge me for back rotters. I thought everything was fine upon inspection. NO THANK YOU! Great experience! We took our older vehicle in for a flat (slow leak) repair. We knew the tires needed to be replaced but we not interested in replacing the tires because we were going to sell the vehicle anyway. They didn't charge for the flat repair even though the tires were not originally purchased there. They gave us a quote on 3 different options to replace the tires. Good, better and best and explained the differences well. After comparing prices elsewhere, we returned and purchased 4 new tires for the vehicle that we didn't originally plan to but the price was worth it and we were happy the new owner of our old vehicle gets brand new tires! read more

I had squeaky brakes and am going to be driving to TX in a week. I called in and I believe Spencer assisted me. He was so kind and helpful and I took my SUV in and they did an assessment right away. They looked at front brakes, rear brakes, tires, etc. They gave me a thorough recap of my vehicle in preparation for the long drive. I ultimately did not need new brake pads or tires but I would have certainly purchased them from Spencer at Les Schwab. They were honest, customer oriented, and FAST. Most overpriced tire store in the state. I went in for a tire quote for a Camaro. They immediately tried to sell me all season radials in a brand only they carry. I explained this is a V8 SS Camaro and I run seasonal tires on it - performance summer tires and dedicated winter tires. So, they pulled up some prices on some Nittos and wanted over $1,700 - tires I can buy elsewhere for under $1,200. I asked about OEM replacements which are Pirelli PZeros. They quoted me just under $1,400. Discount tire quoted me $855 for the exact same tires - down to the part number - and the Chevy dealer will do them for well under $1,000. This is the second time I have priced tires at this store. They always try to push their proprietary brand tires first. When you get them to price a quality tire from a known brand, their prices are consistently 40% to 50% higher than anyone else and they act completely flabbergasted when you tell them that fact. They know they are overpriced. You will get a better deal on tires anywhere compared to here. read more
