Went into Honda for my oil maintenance and afterwards the service advisor told me that my struts were blown. They typically need replacement anytime after 80k miles (we had 128k) but I was not prepared for the major expense and a reschedule. Long story short, I was in a bind and explained my situation (time, money, and my daughter needed the car) to Mike; he did a few preliminary visual checks, squeezed me into his tight schedule, quoted me significant savings and also gave me a AAA discount, finished by the end of day, and provided me a loaner. How they confuse a 2019 Camry with a 2000 Ford Explorer is beyond comprehension..... We called for an estimate on trans flush and availability for the Explorer, discussed it detail. Called back a few days later to book the appointment and again discussed in detail with an estimate. Go in to drop off the truck and they had a Camry in system, no documentation if ever discussing the truck and called back later with an estimate of $100 more. They were more expensive than neighboring shops with similar reviews. No, I would not use or recommend this shop. It's like going to a surgeon and they operate in the wrong side...... read more

It feels unfortunate that I am giving such a poor review, but here I am. First off I would like to start on a positive note. Mike the service advisor was a complete professional and the shop completed the service in a timely manor and I thank you. For the not so positive is an issue with the what they charged for the work done. Example: To replace a serpentine belt tensioner on an 02' passat they charged $646. The break down they gave me was the part was $170 (which is a little high comparatively to what I could find at $95 see link below) But the point could be made they only use OEM parts and that's what they cost.... which is well and good..... but the remainder of the cost of $476 is what they charged for approximately an hour worth of labor (see link below). The tensioner is held in with 3 bolts. I have performed this repair myself several times so I know exactly what needs to be done. When I had the conversation with Mike about the cost and explained I was aware of what was needed for the repair to be completed and approximately how long it should take, he said that was book rate and couldn't adjust the cost of labor. I was unaware repair shops had no control over what they charge their customers. Lesson learned. In short, they were honest and upfront with me about my car's condition. It was totaled because it was in need of replacing the engine. They explained to my why it happened in terms that I understood. During a period of time that they were very busy they got a chance to see a visual inspection of the car and got back to me within the day. Something they should fix next time is they did not inform me that the visual inspection and just trying to start the engine was a charge of $60 for me and they did not inform be before they already performed those tasks. Next time I hope that they let me know what charges I should anticipate before they start on my vehicle. read more

They will do an end to end inspection of your car and let you know everything that is wrong with it without pressure to address the other problems. This is the shop the other mechanics bring their cars to have things done that they don't want to do themselves. I guarantee you have never been to a place like this. Our check engine light came on and we got the codes read. The warranty we had through Carmax referred us here as a preferred mechanic. Mike and John were excellent through the process. I was quoted over $800 for a solenoid and a sensor that my auto parts store was selling for $150 for the same two parts. My advice is to at least check online for prices on any parts quoted before you agree to the work. After driving it off the lot and breaking down two blocks away, just as it had before bringing it in, I called them. They came over, looked at the car and said "well we replaced a part we found to be broken. sorry it wasn't why you brought it in." They offered no compensation and now that I'm unable to pay for further repairs I'm without a car. Review edit: After posting a negative review I was contacted by the owner, Phil. After several conversations about the car and service I received he offered to further look into the problem without charge.
