Went to the location and talked to the manager to find out if they wanted to check the car. He reviewed the reciept and brought to my attention that he had noted oil pan striped on it. He told me he could give me some oil and send me on my way. Had my mechanic come out and check the car, and he discovered that the wrong oil filter had been installed and that was the only problem. Since this was obviously the installers neglegence and they would not check out the car, I think they should have to pay the mechanics bill, or at the very least refund the money my son paid them.

I could not have been more happier with going to Scott's, from the first phone call with Bradley and working with Carson, they provided nothing short than some of the best customer service I have come across in a very long time. The staffs willingness to take my vehicle in within the week to perform the task was just awesome, you rarely get that anywhere here in Phoenix, and so that alone told me a lot, because an inspection fee is typically not much but it requires time, so for them to drop what they were doing and perform what was needed AND to the detail in how they reported their findings was world class and utilizing current technologies to illustrate the checklist of items needing inspected, was awesome! I wanted to fly to Greeley to ensure the X5 upon sight and feel was the car for me, but instead of just going to the dealership first I had to thank the staff and meet Bradley and Carson, and that I did, and they were true to their service over the phone, two very nice people and class acts all the way. Alex didn't have most of the pieces and tried to piece it together with crap they had laying around the shop. The axles he supplied were both damaged, the transmission wasn't the one that was initially with the engine, wrong shifter linkage and didn't even have to ecu nor correct engine harness. Alex promised he would drop off the ecu and mounts and after 3 weeks I still haven't heard from him. This shop is a joke, avoid at all cost and don't buy engine swaps from them. Shame on them for running a shop and won't stand behind their word

I had to take the motor back out of the car and take it completely apart again to find that the head was absolutely butchered. The intake and exhaust valves where lose, the decking was off, valve job was crooked, and the threads were taped crooked. On top of that the motor had rust in the bottom of the piston walls and an oil sprayer was broken off. The bearing are completely trashed from 30 minuets of run time. Females beware. I…read morewalked into Discount Tire to get a simple nail removed from my tire. That's it. A nail. Not a new car. Not a full tire makeover. Instead, the associate immediately informed me I needed all four new tires. When I calmly explained that my tires still had plenty of tread, he confidently told me I was wrong. Apparently, my eyes and basic understanding of tire tread were no match for his sales pitch. I told him I was not interested in spending $1,200 for a full set and seemed visibly annoyed with me. So instead of removing the nail (the actual reason I was there), I left. Took my vehicle to a competitor and guess what?!? They removed the nail without theatrics and confirmed my tires are perfectly fine. Later had my oil changed at the dealership, and they also confirmed my tires are good. Funny how that works. I came in for a repair and got a sales lecture instead. If you're a woman walking in alone, be prepared to advocate for yourself OR just save yourself the headache and go somewhere that listens!!

Someone should talk to them about the lack of coherency and consistency in the quality of street-planning. Despite the confusion and the odd angle at which it is set, Debey's seems always to have plenty of customers. The number of returned customers alone tells us something about the quality of the work. Furthermore, I can vouch that the owner is not one of these types of mechanics that wishes a robot would deliver the vehicle to be repaired so he wouldn't ever have to talk to people. Martin Debey is a friendly fellow, doesn't make you wait an inordinate amount of time, and so far has priced his work competitively. (That means, they are not too expensive.) Also, if something doesn't quite work out, say a repair is made, but the vehicle still shows signs of the problem or of a problem that might be related, Mr. Debey doesn't hesitate to take the vehicle back and work on it again until the problem is solved. We've had better luck calling ahead and making an appointment. That probably makes their lives easier, too, as that way they don't have twice as many cars handed over for repairs on Friday as they do on Monday. All's fair in love and auto-mechanics. But you should still play fair in both places. Good work. After they completed my engine repairs my serpentine belt began to squeal and my AC was drained. I've had them replace the belt 3 different times since the repairs, and it's continued to squeak each time. When I called in today to remind them that they never refilled my AC and that I was on my way in so they could make it right, Stuart became angry and began to yell at me to which I responded by hanging up immediately. I'd sooner pay someone to fix your mistakes than ever bring my vehicle back to Stuart's shop, which is what I'm now doing. In March my girlfriend brought her 4Runner in cause she was having what we thought was an alternator issue. She was told after they did a diagnostic it was in fact just her battery. When she went to interstate to get a new battery they also did a diagnostic and told her it's the alternator not the battery. The man at interstate battery also said that whoever had done the initial diagnostic wasn't the brightest bulb on the tree. You literally plug it in and the computer tells you what the issue is... Unless you like wasting time and money, or being yelled at for asking someone to fix something they broke, this is not the garage for you. Stuart should remain in the garage, and not be allowed to talk to customers because he has the communication skills of a 6 year old, no wonder he has his mom answering the phone for him.
