It takes way way to long to get anything done anymore. les Schwab use to be all about customer service and speed they would run out to your truck get on the job fast and get you out the door with free beef lol. For real tho I waited for 5+ hr to get a new set of $1500 tires on my truck then came back thinking a simple rotation would be fast made sure to show up 9am only a few people in the store waiting made sure to ask if they had time and tell them I only have a hour tops to spare then sat there looking at my truck for 2.5 hours while the place filled up and people came and went. Finally at 2.5 hr the guy got in my truck and did the 20 min job and I left thinking this is a sad day I might never come back after 30 years of using les Schwab. A nail had punctured the sidewall of one of the factory tires on my year old SUV. I had no idea how difficult it was going to be to replace the damaged tire with the same type and brand of tire to match the other four that had less than 10,000 miles on them. After checking at five other tire centers, not one person did a whole hearted search for my requested replacement tire. Only one tire store actually called me back to tell me they had no luck finding my requested tire. I realized I had not checked with Les Schwab so I stopped at the 11th Ave. location expecting the same treatment I received at the other tire stores. I was lucky enough to have a gentleman by the name of Bruce look for what I needed. He was very professional and didn't stop looking until he found the actual tire I wanted on my vehicle. He was able to have it delivered to his store within 72 hours and contacted me to let me know it was ready for installation. I had made arrangements to go in the next morning as I had an appointment the day Bruce called to deliver the good news. Luckily my appointment did not take as long as expected, and Les Schwab was on my way home so I swung in and asked Bruce if there was any way they could replace the tire before their shop closed at six. Bruce went above and beyond and was able to get my tire installed and on my way in less than a half hour! I have already decided that when I need all four tires replaced, this store is definitely getting my business! The entire staff seemed to be happy and hustling to get all of the vehicles serviced and returned to the customers in a timely manner. Great service only. My biggest dissaointment was the tech I pulled. Everyone is wearing masks and doing safety precautions. But the guy I got keeps his mask below his nose so it is useless. This is what happened to me. I bought 4 new tires on 4/1/25. As far as I know everything was fine. I couldn't afford an alignment at that time , but went back on 4/11/25 to have it done. They took my truck, then called and said to pick it up. When I got there they refused to do the alignment.Before they would do it they said I needed an inner rod, outer rod. Inner tie rod socket on rack and plnon-installation, all thrust alignment Dom/imp, thrust angle alignment for $429. I have not been to this location in years. I was pretty impressed with the remodel. I'm not sure when that took place, but it sure looked nice inside. I took my Acura here not long ago because the battery light kept coming on after I had, had my alternator done. I figured my battery was dead. I had to have my car jumped before I brought my car in. It didn't take them long to get my car in, and they said my battery was fine. Well after taking it to Acura, and having it there for almost 2 weeks to track the problem it was fine. It ended up just being a battery cable. So I really appreciate the honesty, and how quick they got my car in to tell me it wasn't my battery. They very easily could have lied, like some places, and tried to sell me a battery anyway. So thank you very much for your wonderful customer service. read more

I sat for a while and saw multiple people coming after me and receiving help, I went to ask the lady at the front counter and she stated quite rudely that they had appointments but a couple of them came on for new services. I had a tire that needed repair, which they did for free. The repair failed less than a month later and they were unable to repair again. They ordered me a new tire and did not charge for the tire or the service. Great customre service! I was expecting to at least pay for the replacement tire. Was a fan le Les Schwab, having bought tires through them in the past and had good experiences, but that came to an abrupt end today when they refused to honor either the online price I was quoted and had selected, as well as the verbal quote they gave me after that, which is a very shady business practice. Now, I wasn't upset about not honoring the online quote that was given to me when I made the reservation. It did make me wonder why they didn't let me know before I came in that they didn't actually have the tires I had ordered in stock, or make efforts to get them in stock beforehand (the reservation was made days in advance, so there was sufficient time, and the online system said that they'd be ready at the time I selected). But I was informed, a bit condescendingly that that's not what the reservation system is for. Weird, but all right, not the biggest deal. So the salesman then proceeds to tell me he can get me a different set of tires for only a few cents difference in price. I agree to that, and then wait for a bit over an hour while they install them. Only once they are done do they tell me the actual price they expect me to pay, which is over $100 more than the price I'd been quoted online, quite a bit more than the "only a few cents" difference the salesman had quoted me verbally. When I pointed out the notable difference in the price, the salesman very condescendingly explained that the price I was quoted online included a rebate (which I was aware of, and was happy to go through hoops to collect), but the new tires didn't have a rebate, and since the rebate wasn't something the store handled, he decided he didn't need to mention that I'd lose that when he said the price would only change by a few cents. I pointed out that it was notably more than a few cents higher for money coming out of my pocket, and he explained that didn't matter to him because the store wasn't involved in that. Not sure if Les Schwab really cares so little for its customers that how their service affects us really is viewed as not their problem, or if the salesman was intentionally being dishonest, or a combination of the two. Then to top things off, when I asked them to put my old tires back on, they very childishly waited nearly an hour before starting on the task (I could see into the garage where they were working from where I was sitting waiting), holding me and my car hostage the whole time. I'd say I wasted over 2 hours today, but at least I learned the lesson to not do business with Les Schwab again, so I guess it wasn't entirely wasted. Follow up: I received a call from a manager after they saw the above review. They asked if there was anything they could do to still get my money. I let them know I'd already purchased a new tire set through Discount Tires, and they immediately lost interest in talking to me further, and might as well have hung up on me. They didn't even apologize for what happened. Really confirmed that this was not a one off thing, and is how they feel about their customers. Will say that at Discount Tires I was able to get better quality tires for about $100 less, the service was better, the installation itself was way faster, and I still get the free tire rotation every 5k miles. read more

Went in today to get my daughter's tires checked. The minute I walked in I was greeted and checked in. They were helpful and recommended the before trip check since I told them we were going to be driving back home next month. I waited 30 minutes (cause I had no appointment and it was 10am). They checked the car, and Rodney came up to me and explained to me what they found. The car it self was fine but the reason I went in for (tires) was what I thought. He explained to me the cracking was tire rot and wasn't that bad but needed to be kept an eye on. He went so far as to show me on a good tire what could happen if the cracking continued, what the tire should feel like and what it turns into once the cracking gets worse. He was very knowledgeable and didn't miss any details. He even talked to my husband on the phone and re-explained the findings. My tires weren't in stock and I had to wait for my tires to come from another shop. I thought that was going to take forever but I was in and out with 4 new tires and an Auto report in 1.5 hours. I will definitely go back to this business and recommend them to anyone who asks. Very pleased with Rodney's assistance. He was awesome and his attention to detail and helping me understand everything I need to have done was great. He answered all my questions and melted me informed as things happened. I've been going to Les Schwab, since I started driving at the age of 16. I've taken my cars to them for over 35 years. Always wanted to support a local company. I've spent thousands of dollars on tires, brakes, lift kits, and batteries. Got the 'free beef' a couple of times. Hell, I've even read Les Schwab's book. Loyal customer until today. No loyalty from them in return. Recently, I purchased Continental tires (absolute junk that they highly recommended) that had a sidewall issue after barely scraping a curb last night. Tires have less than 800 miles on them. I took my car in today and they refused to do anything about it and said it was a 'cosmetic issue', even though the sidewall ripped. Obviously, a defective tire and a safety hazard. I've never asked for any sort of warranty/guarantee work before and the one time I do they refuse. I'm now going to take my five cars and RV to Discount Tire. Losing my business over the wholesale cost of one tire...oh well, their loss. Not a smart business strategy. Rodney T, who I guess you could say 'helped' me, was about as helpful as a liberal arts degree. He gave me a condescending lecture about how side walls don't stand up to curbs and that this is 'normal'...funny as the Toyo's I used to buy from them did. Sorry, Rodney, a sidewall shouldn't tear from scraping a curb. Sad to see how far their customer service and product line has plummeted. Service is on-par with the DMV. All of the long-term employees at the West 11th store are gone...telling in my opinion. Les Schwab built his brand based on customer service. He used to say in commercials, "If we can't guarantee it, we won't sell it." Torn side wall on a subpar and defective Continental tire doesn't count, I guess. He also said, "Our business is earning your trust." Well, after 35 years you've lost mine. Maybe, all of the new staff at the West 11th location should read Les Schwab's book. Good place to start. Terrible service, terrible product (Continental Tires...do not buy them), and they don't honor their guarantee (dishonest). Not the Les Schwab of old. They shouldn't be allowed to use his name. Buyer beware! Be smart and take your business elsewhere...Discount Tire, Goodyear, Auto Pros, Point S, Walmart, Costco...all have better customer service and will honor their guarantee. read more

I'd give these people negative stars if I could. I went there traveling across the United States because my breaks were making terrible noises. They checked them out and then gave me some crazy estimate that was almost 600 bucks because they don't do just one set of breaks they do front and back. Well there was nothing wrong with my front just the back. I said no thanks I'll check around. When I find a place that will change the back breaks they cant get the lug nuts off my tire. Why???? Well that's because the incompetence of the Les Schwab employees made it where my lug nuts were cross threaded. It took this other place half the day to get the lug nuts off then charged me 160 dollars for just that job. That didn't include the brake change. They had to use 7 different bits to get the lug nuts off. I'm pissed and out of 160 extra dollars. read more

I leave the car there to have them fix it few days later they call saying it will cost $4,000 to $5,000 dollars to fix and they can't do it and I need to tow it away now and they will not refund my $760.67 that I paid. I got new tires from Les Schwab a several years ago. Then, every time I went for the free rotation, they'd tell me I needed new brakes. I declined. Then I had to take my car for another repair elsewhere and asked them to check on my brakes while they were at it. I was told my brakes were in great condition. Then, I took my car into the dealer a couple of years ago for AC repair and they also told me my brakes were in pretty good shape. Last year, the dealer repair service told me they were starting to wear, but they didn't need to be changed. Recently, I was told the rear brakes needed replacing, (which I had done), but the front brakes were still in pretty good shape. I am so glad I didn't let Les Schwab rip me off and will never go there again. read more

Best Les Schwab I have ever been to. I live in North Eugene, but I will drive the extra miles to go to Les Schwab on W 11th because the service was A+. I was greeted as soon as I arrived. My vehicle was serviced and returned to me spotless. The waiting room is very nice and there is even a popcorn machine. I was going to leave my vehicle, but the wait was not very long, so I was able to wait. Everyone was very courteous, and I could not have asked for better service. read more

Didn't realize they had included it in the price until I asked why all 4 were off the vehicle instead of just the 2 new ones. Most of the time at Les Schwab's in PDX, their service is super slow (far longer than they estimate), and they can charge an arm and a leg for some basic services that you'll find cheaper elsewhere. However this one in Eugene was faster (maybe better since I got there right around opening instead of 4pm), had great service (the first time anyone ran out to help me despite their ads claiming it's the norm), & it was clean. Sadly, no wi-fi (quite nice when you have to wait 30+ minutes for tires to be rotated), and they can still try to oversell you on some things, but at least for now, I hold out hope this one is at least a bit better than the rest. read more

I was just in to have a new wheel mounted and it went great for me. Price was what I expected and service was fast as soon as my turn came up in the queue. I should also add that earlier in the day they diagnosed the problem for me for free. I went to another location to buy the wheel because it was cheaper. The drawback for me was that a saw a little old lady get robbed of $60. They recommended she get a service done on her tires that is entirely unnecessary. Siping or Microsiping has not been proven to be effective in anything they claim and they are entirely upside down on the heat aspect. I suggest you do your own research on this if it is brought to your attention when buying new tires. They'll charge $15 per tire and you don't need it. Unless you plan on only driving in snowy areas in which case I would say you should buy snow tires and still not get them siped. read more

Went in to have non Schwab tires rotated. Was acknowledged immediately and There was no charge as usual. They recommended an alignment due to unusual tire wear. They did alignment and showed me the before and after readings. The entire job took 30 minutes and the car handles wonderfully. My girlfriends Jeep Patriot was sounding like the rear wheel bearing was bad. We took it in and had then look. Yep, the left rear was bad they said to fix that it would be $226. We set up an appointment. We took it in and dropped it off. We immediately got a call. The guy said the right rear bearing was bad too and the struts have oil on them and need replaced. The brakes were bad and need replaced and the ball joint was bad and need replaced and the tires were wearing out and need replaced And on and on...... when my girlfriend said no to just fix what we brought it there for the guy would not stop and just kept in trying to sell her more...... Aside from being one of the largest and cleanest Les Schwab centers I've ever seen, this one holds a special place in my heart for being a location in which I got to play an extra in a commercial. Granted my presence on screen lasted for a whopping 3 seconds, in commercial terms I was in the shot for a good 1/10th of the time. Aside from that, the whole production looked incredibly cheesy and the eventual result was even cheesier. Beyond all of that, this location is spacious and has a lot of tires on display for folks to choose from. Not all Les Schwabs are built the same clearly and the expanded garages here allow for multiple cars to be worked on at the same time. Service is good here and the prices may break the bank depending on the kind of work that needs to be done. read more
