Well can't say that I'm overjoyed with my experience here. I've never had such a lack luster pedicure in my life. Especially not one that falls under the "deluxe" title? Maybe it was just my technician Emy. They focus on oils and lotion instead of heel clean up. No toe dividers...she put my slides on before my toes were dry. Of course one needed cleaned up. When I mentioned it to her she fixed them but preceded to tell me that she didn't do it bc she doesn't like how it feels to her. Kevin did my Sns nails. Nothing to write home about here either. My cuticles were not cleaned up. Both were friendly but maybe if I come back I'll request one of the technicians mentioned in the great reviews. Needless to say in and out in a hour so and I still typed them both. read more

I got a nails done today in here by Kevin. I showed him the picture that I wanted first. Actually I had an acrylic nail, so I had to take them off first. It was pretty complicated and took a long time but he still focused on my nail and did his best. The nail shop was clean and comfy and I like its atmosphere. The first time that I came here I went to Tommy and had an excellent experience. He was very professional and did an excellent job on my nails. However, I came today and Tommy was busy and they were closing soon so I opted to have another technician do my nails. He was rushing and in the mist of him rushing he spilled finger nail polish on my shoe and even dropped acrylic glasses near me luckily they did not shatter. In addition,I always get two regular gel colors and a third glitter color. I was informed by him that it would cost me three extra dollars. I told him last time that I came I've never paid that anywhere extra for regular colors. He and the receptionist both insisted that it has always been a three dollar up charge for three colors or more, and that Tommy did not charge me last time because he is new. And that he will always do in future.They were both very rude about it and insisted. So I opted to just do two colors because they were just being too Extra in regards to coloring. And in the mist of him rushing he spilled the polish on the ground almost throwing the bottle at me and hit my shoe. Now my shoes smells like alcohol and nail polish remover as we both were working to get it off of my shoes. And then they hurried me out with a thank you on my way. Needless to say as much as I like the way that Tommy does nails I will never visit this establishment again, I do not like my service being rushed nor do I like being charged extra for a very small part of service such is picking out One or 2 additional colors. I always recommend them to everyone who ask me about my nails. The stuff here are always so friendly. I have been to other places that charge way to much for horrible nail job and rude stuff members. We stoped in Duluth for a few days, trying to ride out the hurricane and thanks to yelp, were able to find this salon. I had a gel mani/pedi ($27/$25) and my mom had regular mani/pedi ($12/$25) services. I don't know the name of my pedi tech and the service was ok. I didn't love the way she filed the nails or applied the polish but the callus removal and hot stone massage was amazing. My gel nail tech was Jenny and she was very good. I chose a dark color and she didn't take the polish till the very tip. Over all the pricing for the service was ok. My mother had a similar experience with her tech but was happy overall. For gel they use OPI, perfect match, and mood changing polish. I think the color selection was pretty decent but some of the color and numbers didn't match up. If I'm ever in the area, I would definitely come back. read more

Just over a week ago, I came here for the first time -- last-minute decision to get a pedicure for my graduation -- and I had a great experience. As a walk-in, I expected a longer wait, but it wasn't bad at all. Maria did my pedicure, and it's one of the best I've ever received. She was both meticulous in her work and gentle with my feet. She gave me just the look I wanted for graduation! This was my first time here. The place is clean and the service was quick. I didn't like the mani and pedi I got. A piece of my toenail broke off within a few days (that's never happened to me after a pedi) and my fingernails were filed down in an acute angle on the side (also, never happened to me before). I've been doing my nails here for over 2 years but unfortunately today I have to write a bad review. I showed a picture of nail design to a lady that did my nails (don't remember her name) and asked if she could do that,she said yes. While she was working on my nails she did a few mistakes and was asking her coworkers what's the best way to do it.Anyways it was supposed to be a 3D design but she was adding gel and sprinkling it with SNS powder to make it look similar,I asked her if she could top it with a clear gel so it would hold better but she promised that it's gonna hold great and if she did it there would be no design visible. After 3 days my nails looked like a mess,the color washed off and the texture was gone so I came back to them to fix it.They did not want to fix it and were blaming me,after asking for a manager (that wasn't in that day),arguing with me and going back and forth I got them to fix their mistake but this was the last time I went there and I've never experienced such a poor customer service and they should not be treating anybody the way they treated me read more

I am very disappointed with the service I received at this place. I get sns done regularly and was looking for a place closer to home. The technician attached a nail tip wrong and claimed that my nail-bed is crooked. Never in my life had I had this problem or had been told I had a crooked nail-bed. To "fix" it he attached another tip on top of the wrong one. My nails were never filed narrow enough to my liking. Every time I asked him to shape them more narrow, he had an attitude, even after I mentioned that I didn't care if there was an extra charge. My nails felt mediocre and overpriced when I left the salon, and I planned not to come back. Over the weekend I noticed that the nail with the badly aligned nail tip was really badly shaped. The left side seemed to be rising up and the right side was angled down, like a ramp on my nail. In the center of this nail there was also a dip where the tip had been attached. I went back to the salon and asked them to fix it. At first they refused to accept there was anything wrong. They then agreed to shave it down and re-apply the clear coat. The uneven tip is still visible and now the problem nail is thinner than the rest. They did not re-dip my nail, and even questioned if I had gotten my nails done there to begin with. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place at all to anyone. read more

I went into this nail salon because it was the closest one from my work. I wanted to get holographic nails that I saw pictures of on yelp. I went in and ask for acrylic holographic nails and the price was about $72 with tip. I agreed upon the price although I feel like it was overpriced. From what I remember, the acrylics were $35, $18 for gel polish, and $15 for the holographic (+ or - a few dollars) the total was $64. Normally the salons I've been to charge $30 for acrylic and additional $5-$10 for gel polish. I've never gotten holographic before so I can't really make a price comparison. I agreed upon the price thinking that they will do a better job that other places I've been to. Anna did my nails and she did a pretty good job with the acrylics and everything. I am very personable so I like to talk to people. She didn't really seem willing to talk to me as much but its okay. I'm paying for the nails not to socialize. The holographic nails are cool but I don't think they are worth it in general. The nail salon did a good job but the holographic does not last at all. They scratch pretty easily so I had to change the color in less than a week. I'm not blaming the salon since it is all about the look but the price for it is unreasonable. Also, one of my acrylic nails broke and another nails cracked so I had to go back to get it fixed in less than a week also. I went back and asked them to fix it and change the gel color. Andy did this service and it wasn't any better. When he fixed the acrylic nails, they were so thick and uneven with the rest of the nails. Also, I got white gel polish and there is visible dust embedded into the polish. So my nails look dirty. I wanted to like this place but I don't think I will be coming back. Went for eyebrow wax and my eyebrows were not only thinned out but was also burned really bad to the point I had to get medical attention because it was a second degree burn on both eyebrows. My eyebrows were in pain for a few days. The lady knew she burned them because she kept putting cream on them before the procedure was over and never said anything to me and just kept going with the waxing procedure. When I went back they simply said to cover it with makeup and that they'd only cover my expenses up to $200-$300 without insurance and throw in a $50 gift certificate to come back. I never received an apology or refund after spending $128 there for services including the wax. I had a wedding to attend the next day and was to be in it. This is the worst experience ever and they did not show any sympathy. They seemed to only care about getting me out of the way rather than recognizing their mistake. I will never come back here again and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

Extremely expensive, $40 for French and they only use white tips and white powder. The quality was crap to. Known or the white tips matched in size and they didn't clean the undernail. I do not recommend for French and shitty quality. The usual place I go was out of the way and they charge less use more colors and pink and white powder and do an amazing job. First time here. I called to make an appointment on the same day. I got there on time and was told to wait. That's ok, it wasn't too long of a wait so I went to pick out my colors. It was a guy who did my Mani-Pedi. This is the first time a guy does nails for me. I think he was a little too rough in the whole process. My middle finger was bleeding when he trimmed my cuticles. Jen is the truth. I hadn't been to get a pedicure since winter broke so she had her work cut out for her and she handled my pedicure very well. She took her time and made sure it was right and never complained. Everyone in the shop was nice and the shop itself was clean and they are careful to make sure that what they use is clean. These people are obnoxious. I called them on the phone, a lady answers and tells me to come at 7. I asked for her name, she said "don't worry, you will see me. I will be waiting for you." When I get there at 7 as asked, she says "I can't take you." I said, "but on the phone, you told me to come at 7." She goes, "Yes, but these people just walked in." I look at the people she's pointing to and remember them walking in just before I did!" I said, "But I called you." Now, another lady joins her and they are both shaking their head! I felt awful for having driven all the way for nothing! I said softly, "That's not fair" and just left. As I drove away, I remembered they had done the exact same thing to me a year ago, which is why I had stopped going there despite filling up my Loyalty cards and having visited them at least 30 times before that event! Is this the way to treat their loyal customers? It's so disrespectful and humiliating to be told they won't see you after they tell you to come at at a specific time! It was my first time here and it was definitely my last. Jessica I believe her name was, was in a rush to attend another customer who came after me. She cut my finger and made my nails slanted so they look horrible. I commented on them to her and she ignored me. When she finished my nails she told me to wash my hands, in those few steps I took to the sink she grabbed my purse and moved it so that she could attend the other customer. You do not touch another woman's purse, even less without asking or saying. And I still had a couple belongings there such as my phone and she sat the customer there as if nothing. To top this all off, they made me pay for the nails fully, I will have to have the nails removed because they are not worthy of keeping on. These cuts burn like hell too. She also used some tools over my bleeding cuts, and that's disgusting. That's unsanitary for the customer and for their shop. My girlfriend who also came in for a full gel set did not get what she wanted. She was charged the extra five dollars for the shape when the nail tech Henry gave her square she was specific to mention that in the beginning but he just keep doing his own thing. She mentioned to him that the nail shape was off and he tried to fix it but didn't do much difference. When it was time to be charged I mentioned to him all this stuff and they both got mad and started talking in their language which is absolutely fucking rude to do I front of their customers. I don't mind paying the price for the gel set but square , but being charged for something I did not want and received something also is not okay. I will share this on all my social media and let all my friends and family know that this is not worth your money. read more

Overall the salon is very nice and clean. I came in right when they opened at 11am on Sunday. The wait wasn't long, and the lady at the front desk was very nice. Jessica was my nail tech. She was very nice, but it seemed like she rushed through my manicure. She kept looking up at the door and not paying attention to her work. I got SNS powder, and when she was filing (with the electronic filer) the top of my nails she kept hitting my skin, which hurt, she did that to almost every finger, and she kept say "relax your hand". It was hard to relax with my fingers being constantly pinched by the filing. My nail color came out very pretty but there are definitely inconsistencies in some of the nails. I should have pointed out the parts where she messed up, but I didn't, because my fingers were sore, and I didn't want her to have to do anything else to them. I really like the look of the salon and the atmosphere, so if I go back I will make an appointment and be sure to choose someone else who is more comfortable with SNS. read more
