The owner Gibran started talking to my daughter about making her a custom T-shirt and she said she wanted a velociraptor on it He said " how about a T Rex?" And she said "no a RAPTOR!" He and my daughter sat down (found a raptor template) and designed her shirt and when it was done she loved it. Then next time I went in, I was shopping for myself. I gravitated towards my normal looks, then Gibran brought me a few items. At first, I was like this is totally not me, I will look terrible in this and I tried it on and boy was I wrong. Everything he brought me looked amazing. There were a few things I was not convinced about, only because I didn't think I could pull them off, but I ended up buying two awesome sweaters and one shirt. Today my seven-year-old and I went in to check out some of their new things and again Gibran helped style me. He knows that I wear tights/leggings all the time, but that I want to expand my look. He showed me pieces that I could wear with leggings and new things that were a little bit different. Not only did he do that, but he explained why certain things looked good on my body type. I bought a few different pieces, including one that I wasn't sure about last time. My 7 year old asked for another custom shirt and she snagged a cool tiger hat. I got a Phinney Ridge hat for my 14 year old son too. This is the place you can go and know that what you are walking out with looks amazing on you and It's not just some sales person saying "oh yeah you look great" when you clearly don't. I bought a t-shirt and a little top here totaling $320. It became an undesirable shopping day. One of the three sales people was really great. I had several pairs of pants and a few tops pulled and I was to return from a quick medical appointment and complete my purchase. I return and all the pants were rehung throughout the store. No problem, I decided I would decide among the tops and call it a day. Rather, I was again plied with a bombardment of slacks to try on and almost none included what I had pulled before. There was a whole lot of talk and not much help. It was that cloying feeling I last got in my 20's of "thank you for your money, dummy." The store did not reach out after I left an authentic and obviously real review before. Yelp does seem to reward commercial customers by helping filter out alleged untrustworthy reviews that include clear details and a warranted rating that also reflects other customers' experience. This is what happened to me with Les Amis too. I have no plans to visit this store again. read more
