I made a last minute appointment here after the ophthalmology appointment I had at an alternate…read morelocation screwed up the location. I was initially told by the receptionists that they needed my insurance information which was fine, and after being on the phone for approximately 15 minutes they told me just to come in but they still hadn't been able to reach and verify my insurance. At the time the doctor was ready to see me, I told them I would just pay out of pocket so I could be done with it and the doctor diagnosed a conjunctivitis giving a strong antibiotic / steroid ophthalamic solution. I advised almost the entire office that I would be out of town for about the next month and I was told to call with an update after being on the medication for a week. When I returned to california, I contacted the office to schedule a recheck and to advise I wouldn't be able to come in within one business days' notice and asked if the doctor wanted to continue the medication in the meantime because I was out. I was very rudely reminded that I was supposed to call with an update which was shut down immediately when I gave them the exact date and time I called, reminded them that I left a voicemail, and then politely reminded them that absolutely not a single person ever called me back. I then asked why I paid $100 for the consult out of pocket just for them days later to turn around and bill my insurance $250. They insisted they totally planned on giving me a refund but never once told me either in office or over the phone that they were billing my insurance and at the time I was leaving the visit told me I was paying the consult fee out of pocket and that was the end of it. I was shocked when the cost was more than doubled to my insurance without my knowledge or permission and can say very confidently they had no intent on contacting me to refund me for anything. I know this because when I started asking questions, I was put on hold three different times by someone named Monica. Sometimes when I was mid sentence. I liked the doctor, although I do not believe this is a conjunctivitis given the severity of the symptoms and ongoing nature of the symptoms, but unfortunately the receptionist's lack of communication and failure to notify the doctor that I called with an update resulted in me terminating my care at this location. They seemed to care more about the money, did not communicate they would also be billing my insurance, did not return my call when I called (as requested) with an update, and in my opinion, had no intention on refunding me.

Like many others, I considered LASIK for years but never pulled the trigger to get consultations on…read morethe calendar. My friend had SMILE done by Dr. Lee about 9 months before I began diving seriously into the procedures. I met with 2 other clinics, but ultimately chose CCRS because of the fact that my fiance and I met with Dr. Lee during the consultation itself. He stayed with us for almost an hour to walk me through my options and his recommendations. He appeared to be intelligent, empathic, humorous, and above all, he was straight with me. Other clinics with a dedicated marketing operations team are a lot more sales-y, so I felt more comfortable with Dr. Lee, and all my appointments have been so streamlined and efficient. I was a good candidate for either SMILE or LASIK, but based on my preferences for longevity, I went with LASIK. Paperwork and pre-procedure instructions were sent to me in advance, and overall I think it went smoothly! I wasn't bothered at all by the lasers as I knew what to expect. I'm currently on days 5-6 of recovery and will be seeing Dr. Lee in another follow-up appointment next week. My vision continues to fluctuate a bit but that's a normal part of healing. My fiance is also interested in getting his refractive surgery done by Dr. Lee, and I recommended a family friend to him recently too. CCRS has free parking onsite, located nearby excellent Korean food, and facilities are super clean. Staff are friendly and highly efficient. So far, I'm happy with my results, which I hope will continue to improve.

I had Lasik here twice, can't remember the exact dates but it was many years ago. My Rx was very…read morehigh at the time, legally blind perhaps, and after the first Lasik surgery I had 20/20 vision after a couple days of rest. However, a couple years later, one of my eye regressed very quickly to a point where I couldn't see clearly driving (pretty much driving reliant on my one good eye). So I decided to return for a 2nd lasik procedure. The first time I didn't feel any pain and thought it was a very fast procedure. The 2nd time, however, there were pain and I was actually squirming trying to hold off the pain. Procedure went well for another couple years. Fast forward to today, the vision in one eye is very bad while the other eye is slowly regressing, no longer 20/20. I know I had bad astigmatism but I was under the assumption that it would at least last many years before it regressed again. My questions are , do you guys offer free post touch-up laser surgery? I would love to get a fix or and adjustment. I work night shift and it's making it very hard to drive at night, especially with the halos and headlights. My 2nd question, do you recommend any other procedures besides Lasik for a permanent fix? I feel like a 3rd lasik procedure would be risky and cause too many side effects.

I would highly recommend coming here for LASIK. As someone very scared of anything having to do with my eyes, I felt very safe in his care and being able to see 20/20 is life changing!

When I went in for a consult, I was unfortunately not a good candidate for LASIK. Dr. Feinerman suggested another procedure called EVO ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens) that I was a good fit for. Despite the higher cost compared to LASIK, I was totally on board. I scheduled my surgery appointment afterwards and I was given instructions on how to prepare for the procedure (I had to put eye drops in beforehand). The surgery center Dr. Feinerman used was in Tustin (Barranca Surgery Center). I had a very early appointment and I didn't have to wait too long. The procedure took what felt like 10 minutes, but could have been way longer (the anesthesia worked like a charm!). I had my sister drive me home, there is no way you should try to drive yourself home after getting this done!! Immediately after the surgery, my vision had a noticeable improvement, with sensitivity to light. Over the next 3 months, my vision stabilized and I don't have dry eyes as often anymore. Dr. Feinerman and his entire team were a pleasure to interact with. Totally recommend this place!!
