    The RV site

What a wonderful and nice campground! Because of the location near Key West (4.5 miles of Duval St) it is a bit expensive. The bathrooms are suprisingly ordered, nice and clean. The sites are a bit small but still good. There are quite a bit long-term stayed RV's. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The WiFi is free. That helps non-US citizen ;-). A ride to Key West is 8 min, $2 by bus (single fare) or $18 by Uber. Reserve your camp site before arriving.

    Mangroves behind us!!!

This was my first time camping, like, for real camping in a tent. We had slept in our car about a year ago at a campground during a trip, and we thought we were total badasses. This was a whole new world for me. I bought my little tent on Amazon and we set off. We were only here for one night, so I figured it would be a good run at camping. We had the tent up in about half an hour *uncontrollable excitement* and we were told it'd be fine to leave it there while we went to dinner (which was good because I didn't want to pitch a tent at midnight). Our little site was set just behind a mangrove, which surprisingly wasn't mosquito-ridden (and this was June). The restrooms were clean and I felt comfortable there, both at night before bed, and early in the morning. My only complaint is that the sites are pretty close to one another so you can hear everyone else's conversations in the middle of the night. The farting contest that the mother-daughter duo next to us at 3am was no exception. We will, however, be returning for sure if we make a trip back.

Our site (#9) located next to the lake and sun deck that has chairs and tables to use.

Great place to camp! It was small enough where there wasn't people everywhere and you didn't feel cramped in. Staff was so friendly and helpful regarding what to do around the area. It was also very clean (bathrooms were superb). They also have a great deck on their little lake you can lay on. They sell stuff like ice, toiletries, etc in the office. I definitely will stay here again when I come back to key west! Wonderful experience. Can't wait to come back!

Very nice place. It does not have a pool but you don't even miss it. So many little activities to do around here and it's only a few minutes for Duval st. Everything was very clean and well kept. The best price for Key West. Will definitely stay here every time I come. Everyone was very nice. I added some pictures of the place because I feel like the ones on here before didn't give it justice. If you come to key west this is the place to stay.

This R.V. park was like paradise. Small R.V. park about 10miles from Key West. We chose a canal…read moresite because we love to fish and figured there would be better fishing on the canal side. The lot was big enough for our 30ft motorhome. We had our own private tiki hut, porch over the canal, fans, outside tv, and lots of privacy. Very dog friendly. Clean park. Only cons was each site is privately owned. Some owners take better care of their site than others. We were at canal site 3. Our lawn chair was broken, only 9 lights in the tiki hut actually lit up ( we still had enough light), and the solar lights on the dock were broke (no biggy). We still had a blast and can't wait to go back. They have a small pool at the end of the park which is not busy at all and perfect for a quick cool down. From our spot we saw many fish, string ray, two nurse sharks, and a seahorse. This truly is a paradise R.V. park and I highly recommend it.

That's not 5 star when information is given disrespectfully. Your staff needs new training. But if you're that booked with other people that tolerate it because you are expensive because of those side outdoors living areas. I just you can treat people badly when they are just calling you for information and pricing. If you don't want to deal with questions maybe improve your website so we don't have to call with questions.

We have a 2 week stay here scheduled for August when lobster season opens. I recently found out through a voicemail that the marina is closed for upgrades. I've been trying to call to find out if they will have boat parking. I've called the marina once and the front office twice and left voicemail messages. I've not received a call back. my other issue is that no-one told me the marina would be under construction before I paid over 4,000 dollars for my spot.

We were escorted to our site, and literally were parked steps from the water. We enjoyed hanging out in the water immediately, and also loved all the wildlife present everywhere on the campground, including an iguana who liked to bask in the tree right next to our RV, numerous pelicans and herons (or egrets? I never know the difference), schools of thousands of little fish, and more. I loved swimming in the area off the swimming dock. The water was cool and refreshing in the heat. Every day, I marveled at the beauty of this place. The clouds and sky looked like cotton candy at dusk. Sunsets were magical. Bahia Honda State Park is only 5 minutes away. I almost didn't go, because this campground was so nice, but fortunately, we went, and of course, that was breathtaking as well. We have starlink so I didn't have internet issues, and we didn't use the marina services, so can't speak to that.
