The AA Optometrist female Dr here is rude, unkind and impatient. Took my young son who was having his eyes tested for the first time and he was very nervous and fidgety. She got impatient, didn't even try to calm him or talk nicely to him (he's a child for goodness sakes), next thing she was angrily saying we are wasting her time, ASSUMED my son was special needs and proceeds to recommend us to optometrists who cater to special needs. Very unpleasant experience. Will not recommend! read more

My experience was initially okay. The issue occurred when my husband and I received our glasses. We were unable to see with them. The front desk told us to come back in two weeks for our eyes to adjust. We waited three days, and it was unbearable. When we returned, I was informed we would have to pay a copay. I informed them I had never had to pay when my glasses needed adjustment. I was informed that it was because it was over 30 days. It was not over 30 days from the glasses being received, but from the order placement. The technician spoke with the doctor, and she agreed to give us an appointment to check our glasses because the technician was not in the office to check them. I never went back and never used the expensive glasses. I returned to using my older glasses, which were prescribed from another location. I returned to my favorite location and will never return here. Do not go here. They act nice until there is an issue. The overly nice sales lady didn't even acknowledge my existence when I returned with the wrongly prescribed glasses. read more

This place sucks dont go here!! 1. I booked through Zocdoc which showed me docs in my area who accept my insurance. I get there and she says I'm out of network..but their other location takes my insurance?? The doctor who did her exam was being weird for no reason her convo was like wtf are you talking about? She couldn't understand my reason for being there.. even after telling her several times my daughter couldn't read the eye chart well at her pedicatric appointment and said her eyes hurt sometimes when reading. 3. They want your kids full social security # the insurance card isn't enough for them..they could have told me that upon scheduling be cause who walks around with SS cards on them?? 4 I saw them turn a man and his son away (who had booked a appointment) because they "don't see kids under 8 yrs old on Mondays" the boy was 7 yrs old gimme a break!! the dad was pissed!!! I don't blame him. The whole staff that works there are creepy like they hate reach other or something. I don't know its a weird vibe totally not going back. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before going here. I scheduled an appointment during the morning so they wouldn't be too busy. I went in and they called my son back for his appointment. He was done 30 minutes later. At that point, I didn't know if he was done or what was next. I waited as more people came and left. Finally, I asked the girl at the front and she had to send him back in to check for dilation. Now, he's finished and we are looking at glasses, but she says/does nothing. One of her friends from high school comes in 30 minutes after us, but he's already checking out and getting glasses. Not once, does she look up to talk to me or tell me what's going on. Finally, I flag down her co-worker and she prints the prescription for me. By this point, its been over 1 1/2 hours and I leave without glasses. My son had picked out glasses while we were waiting, but no one ever approached us to ask if they could help. Not from the Dr's office and not from Lens Crafters. I'll just pick up a few pairs from Zenni Opticals. read more

Had a great experience with the optometrist who was absolutely amazing but the sales people are a whole other ball game. Not sure if her name but older lady with spiked grey hair walking around is very pushy and gives me a not so fresh feeling. Ended up buying my glasses at Warby Parker. They were bad ass! read more

I spoke to employees of this office twice in the week before my appointment. I have never worn contacts before and told them both that. I get to the office for my exam this morning and am told that they can't give me contacts on Saturdays because there is a 1 hr "training class" that I have to attend, and it is not offered on weekends. I offered to sign a waiver or something as I have two children and a very busy schedule and would not be able to come back. I was told that they could do they exam but they would not give me the prescription until I came back for the class. No one told me anything about this In the multiple phone calls that I had with the office . The receptionist was beyond rude as well. read more

My mom and I had the worst experience at this location. A lady named Curleta was extremely rude and unprofessional towards us because of the number of frames my mom was trying on. She started yelling at us because "she had to clean them afterwards". Told us to limit the number of pairs she's trying on. The way she treated us was absolutely disgusting!!! It was completely ridiculous, she started yelling and shaking and dropping things on the floor. This was the worst experience we had ever had anywhere!!! We did make a purchase after all this happened, which we shouldn't have done. We went back last week to pick them up and they had the wrong prescription on it. The manager tries to convince my mom that this is the way her glasses should be and that's what her prescription says. We told him that she's been wearing progressive glasses for years and she shouldn't see blurry!!! Then he proceeds to look at them closely and said that they didn't do it correctly and said he will be sending it back to get them corrected. We went back today to pick up the corrected glasses, and again she does not see clear with the new lenses. Curleta is again the one helping us with the try on of the new lenses, and my mom tells her that she still see blurry with them, then Curleta gets angry about it and tells my mom to go to her doctor. She tries to blame it on the doctor and on her prescription, when in actuality it's the lenses that are not done correctly!!! I told Curleta that she doesn't need to continue being rude like the last time when my mom was trying on the glasses!!! She continued to raise her voice, and that's when I decided that this was enough, and asked for a complete refund!!! DO NOT go to this location even if your life depends on it!!! I'm still in shock how someone can have the audacity to treat customers in this manner!!! Being a business owner and in the medical field, NO Business should let their employees treat their customers/patients this way!!! Do not waist your time bringing them your business!!! We had a wonderful experience at LensCrafters working with a delightful associate that helped find the perfect pair of glasses for my grandmother. She was anxious about finding a stylish frame that fit her face and complexion, but we were able to do so in a short amount of time. The associate was very patient, helpful and made great suggestions. I would highly recommend this store. read more

My appointment was scheduled for 0920 arriving 15 mins early as directed in the email. 35 mins after my scheduled time, 50 mins total, I am still waiting. I looked around for glasses as I waited and tried to ask the associate a few questions in regards to pricing etc. She stated she was too busy right now and would get with me soon (still waiting). I will not get my glasses from this location and will find another LensCrafter moving forward. read more

***The Appointment and Billing person (Renata) DECEIVED me and LIED to me. I called and stated that I wanted to schedule an eye exam that would be covered by my insurance. When I arrived I gave her my insurance information. She waited until AFTER the exam to tell me that my insurance would not cover the exam. I would not have gone otherwise. I asked her to send the bill to my insurance company, which might pay it. She told me that she sent the bill to my insurance company several times and it was declined each time. I later found out that the bill was never declined by my insurance company, she NEVER sent it. Meanwhile, they have sent me several threats to send the bill to collections. AVOID this company! ***DON"T BUY HERE! They tell you to pick out glasses after your exam. They don't ask you if you want any, they just want your money; and OVERPRICED they are. Their frames alone cost you between $150 and $300!!! My Raybans (frames and glass lenses) only cost me $60 at a retail eyeglass store, and the frames are better than what they sell. Yes I over paid, but you do when you buy a name brand. Eyeglass frames only cost a few dollars to make (for real nice ones). BUY YOUR GLASSES AT THE DRUG STORE instead, and save $100s! You can get cheap eye glasses for $1, but the lenses are poor quality. They are good for spare, lie around, in the car, etc.; but not for all day use. Spend $5-$10 and you'll get a nice pair like what Lens Crafters will sell you and you'll save $200- $300! I used to pay $100s for my eyeglasses, thinking that the eye store had better glasses; but after researching it, getting 2nd & 3rd opinions, and inspecting and testing them myself, I found there was no difference but the price. What a mark up the eye glass stores charge! [FYI: I am a scientist and former Professor of Human Anatomy & Physiology. I used to teach students going into Optometry and Ophthalmology about the eye and how it works]. read more
