It cost $60 for an appointment without insurance, depending on your insurance you might be paying $10-$20. If you want to do additional eye tests it's additional charges. They were doing a sale and my fiance's insurance gave him a $180 limit, he ended up getting new glasses & new sunglasses. The experience was decent. The wait was pretty long, but we weren't doing anything. The front desk team was very nice and helpful. The lady prepping you for the eye exam seemed like she was force to sell you on using their new technology to take pictures of your eyeballs. And the doctors visit felt rushed. I guess the past few times I've visited the eye doctor they always ask of I have concerns or stuff like that, this lady didn't ask any of that. Makes me think they're aren't really doing this for the care of people's eyes but for sales. We'll see how it goes when we pick up his glasses.

From the check in person and billing person at my check in both were kind and informative even though the AC was out in their area ! Once I was called back in about 15 minutes. They took my friend to the other waiting room bc it had ac The nurses that did my initial set up were great! Leigh and Susan were very good to me as were the others but I didn't get their names. Dr. Willman is excellent and he tells the truth but in a way that's not upsetting if that makes sense. Due to my eye condition there was no choice for me I had to do the laser, plus Dr. Willman had to chip away too. The staff make sure that you are comfortable with blankets etc etc. Plus they take them off when you get hot. Everyone was friendly and kind. I let everyone know that when I'm nervous I tend to talk a LOT but they didn't seem to have an issue with it. My actual surgery was scheduled for 11 but I didn't go back until 11:30. I had the best BP readings in my life at a doctor's office!! The nurse also used the vein that I wanted her too. Once she got the needle in my blood started going and went slightly overboard but she cleaned up everything making sure no blood got on my clothes. She even changed the dressing bc she said it was too messy for her liking! My follow up is tomorrow and my right eye is scheduled for 4 weeks. My eye feels irritated and scratchy under this big eye shield but not painfully so. I'll be glad for the shield to be removed tomorrow at the follow up. The surgery center was immaculate so bright and clean. I highly recommend CarlinVision!

But I came back home, mainly because they performed my LASIK and I felt my eyesight was detonating and I should start wearing contacts/glasses again. The office is always clean and they have a huge waiting area with plenty of seating and refreshments while you wait to be called back. The lady (I didn't get her name) I spoke with suggested I see Dr. Thornhill, after I told her I would rather see a different doctor than the one I saw the past couple of times I was there. I am so thankful for her because Dr. Thornhill restored my faith! He was very charismatic, funny, and just overall great energy! He answered all my questions and addressed any concerns I had. He also recommended eye exercises I can do since I'm constantly staring at a computer screen during my work day. So if you are not sure which doctor to see, I definitely recommend Dr. Thornhill.

After speaking to several friends about their experience with their LASIK surgery and how happy they were with it, I decided to take the plunge, and am soooo glad I did! I decided to go with mono focal surgery and have one eye done for close vision and my dominant eye done for distance vision. I had tried it before with contacts and had no problems with it, my brain works it out and I don't notice any difference unless I cover one eye. I had the surgery 2 days ago and am already seeing things better than I have in a long time! Dr. Wild was super patient with me, taking his time to answer all my questions, explain the procedure and what to expect, even what could be done later if I didn't like the mono vision. Dr. Smith was great, explaining what was going to happen during surgery and even telling me what was going on during the surgery. He and the tech made sure I was comfortable and had enough numbing drops in my eyes that I couldn't feel anything that was happening. All of the staff from the girls that checked me in at the front, to the techs that helped me through each process were extremely friendly and helpful with any questions I had. They put my mind at ease about having surgery on my eyes. I was referred to LASIK Plus in Duluth by a friend who had his surgery done there over 10 years ago and will be highly recommending the Duluth location and their staff to everyone I speak to about My LASIK surgery!!

Several months ago, I visited this practice as my longtime eye doctor retired. My appointment was…read morescheduled for 8:30. I waited 45 minutes before being seen. At no point did anyone update me. As part of te exam, the doctor changed my contact prescription which happens from time to time. No big deal. However, he also changed my brand. I agreed to try out the new prescription and the new brand. Neither worked. From April - June, I left no less than 5 messages without a return call. I finally received a call back indicating they could revert to my old prescription and contacts' brand. 3 weeks ago, I stopped by the office again. New contacts were allegedly being ordered. Again, I have followed up multiple times via text and voice mail...no response. Not only will I not be returning, but I also strongly encourage anyone to find somewhere else to go.
