And whenever I have went to the Lafayette Road location I have always felt uplifted. Everyone there is great. I moved to Indiana 4 years ago and I have finally found the place to get my annual exams at. Here the staff is quick, the doctor is SUPER friendly. The facility is clean, organized, and high tech. I definitely will be back here next year. I booked my appointment online. Called and they immediately confirmed that everything was set for my appointment. When I got there they had already ran my insurance and let me know what I would be paying for my exam. At check out they let me know how much I had saved. I was out of there in 30 minutes! read more

Vision problems are a part of life, and they really aren't any fun. I've never met anyone who looks forward to going to the eye doctor and subsequently being bonded to a pair of glasses or contact lenses. If you're like me, you want your eyes to be properly and expediently examined. You may also want stylish frames that are quickly delivered - all at a reasonable price. I go to LensCrafters for all of these reasons. The staff at this LensCrafters location is great. Appointments are easy to get, and you won't spend eternity in the waiting room. I've seen both Dr. Hubbard and Dr. Conway, and I have enjoyed my interaction with them. I felt very welcomed, comfortable, and thought that I was able to build a nice rapport with the doctors. I have no doubt that I was given quality optical care. I also was very pleased with the customer service I received from the store manager. He was quick to correctly fit me with a pair of stylish Ray-Ban​ frames - and he seemed very knowledgeable​ about men's fashion! I only wish this location carried the Persol line... My only gripe about this location is their hours of operation. Sure, they have weekend hours, but during the week, the store is only open from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This makes things rather difficult for people who work traditional hours. Not wanting to delay picking up my glasses until the weekend, I was forced to leave work early. Once they get your money they don't care about you. Last year we bought Four pairs of glasses with them at a Premium price buying tons of add-ons, then they couldn't deliver the glasses for 6 weeks!!! This year we went back solely because of the Clarifeye for the kids, bought same upgrades / add-ons and even paid extra so we could get them same day as They promised. Once again, they couldn't deliver even within 24hrs!! Then they refused to refund any of the premiums &/or do anything about their negligence besides give us a couple throw away wipes for cleaning glasses which we already have Tons of!! One hour lenses??? LMAO Yeah, right! Will NOT return to this location or any other location. DONE with their lack of Customer Service! Willing to pay Twice as much even for decent Customer Service! The staff is extremely friendly here. I am always able to walk in and get an appointment, no matter how busy they are. Plus all the employees are very knowledgeable and willing to help out! Highly recommend paying them a visit if you are in need of glasses with a one hour service. read more

Great staff there!! Always earns extra stars with me. They can get pretty busy there when i went it was hectic. They carry top designer frames which will cost you like polo, brooks bothers etc. The facility is very clean and comfortable. They also offer the digital sizing which is another added plus. The place is clean, nice looking and has many pairs of eyeglasses. Their exam price is average. However, my exam sucked. The guy had the perfect lenses on the examining machine, I was really crisp and clear, and then somehow, the lenses he gave me to wear were really blurry. He pointed me at an eye chart and he said, what's the bottom line you can read. I perplexedly said "uhhhh... second from the top" and he seriously was like OK Seeya! read more

Had the most pleasant and efficient eye care experience of my life at this location. Walked in for a scheduled exam appointment at noon and walked out with a fresh pair of specs just under one hour later. They had looked up and confirmed my insurance before I arrived. Great selection of frames. Service from Waunya was pleasant and beyond the call of duty - he even fixed up my old pair while I waited (15 minutes!) for the new. Minimal out of pocket costs as they are in network with Aetna Federal plan. 10/10 will patronize again. read more

So I'm fighting a cold with a some Saline nose spray last week when a rouge squirt sprays my glasses. I go to wipe the lens and SNAP. Oh Snap....Right on the bridge of the nose my four year old spectacles bite the dust. I dig out my 9 year old Army issue horned rims and rock those for a few days while I wait out the inevitable expense of either repair or new glasses altogether. Sadly the snapped frames were beyond repair so my wife (the household negotiator) calls up Lenscrafters to explorer my options. She was able to talk with a very helpful Lab Tech, Kelley. As it turns out since I had bought my glasses there 4 years earlier and they still had the frames in stock I would be able to switch out the lenses and pay for the new frames. This of course, was the best case scenario, though I was dubious. We arrive, speak with Kelley and sure enough, she was true to her word. Now, once the sales staff caught wind of this I had miraculously qualified for a brand new "free pair" (free, meaning only the frames, I would have to shell of for the lenses and and the eye exam as my prescription is over two years old.) I politely declined this offer and don't begrudge them for trying, otherwise they would be crappy sales people. So I walk out having only to pay $32 after insurance for the same frames I had and was able to shelve the the brown-Army issue-wannabe-hipster frames for the next emergency. Great service Lenscrafters crew you, though you have already had it thanks to you're one stop service at an affordable price, have earned all future business from my family. read more

I made a appt on Saturday or so I thought for new glasses. My appt was supposed to be today at 2:40pm. I arrive there n I'm told I DO NOT have a appt. I told them I spoke on the phone Saturday afternoon n the lady took my information down. Apparently she never saved it. So I now not only do I not have a appt but they said my insurance was not working. I was told they did take it. I was being treated very rudely n disrespectful. I will never go back. Very rude n not reliable! read more

I accompanied a family member to this location earlier this week. I was absolutely horrified with the curt attitude and dismissive way the front receptionist Bradley handled them. Not only was she rude, but she loudly discussed the insurance information of the person who I came in without asking them to approach the desk to talk in private in clear violation of HIPPA standards. This location needs more in-depth training. read more

Bradley is RUDE! I visited the Lafayette location today for an appt. When I arrived I was as greeted friendly by one of the staff but when Bradley (f) assisted me with checking in things changed. Bradley was very short by telling me I was "already 10 mins late." I apologized as I thought my appointment was at 4:30 not 4:20p. I ignored her attitude and thought that she was just rushing since I was late. She told to me my insurance needed to process before I could see the optometrist. No problem so I waited. She then announced from about 12ft away, "Your insurance didn't go through." I went to the counter as there were ppl waiting to be seen who could clearly hear her violating HIPPA. I thought nothing of the insurance issue as I have never had this issue before and as I told her this insurance is fairly new to me so I wasn't sure what I had (VPA or Spectera). I also stater this when I made the appt. I asked her what do I need to do and was met with a blank stare and told it isn't working. I decided to check for my actual vision ins card online. I sat down and sure enough was able to find it. I waited in line 6ft from a couple checking out and the optometrist stood next to Bradley whispered something and Bradley "whispered" something like she's checking it out. FYI masks are not sound proof. It was my turn and I said kindly I found my ins it's Spectrea. Bradley announces, with the optometrist present, "We don't take that!" "You can't use that here." I stood there blankly and said ok well as I stated before wasn't aware of this and no problem. I asked if this applied to all Lens Crafters and she announced, "Yes, it's all of them. No one will take it." The optometrist stood there with blank eyes. I said ok and left but not after making eye contact with the older woman who witnessed all of this. This woman watched all of our interactions like watching ppl volley in a tennis match... HIPPA or courtesy much Bradley and op? When I left I felt Bradley was very rude. I called on my way home and told her I thought she was pretty short with me and didn't appreciate it. I told her she offered me no assistance when I said I didn't know what to do. As I'd told her earlier and when I made the appt I am a life-long Lens Crafters customer. I told her I felt comfortable coming back to LC after trying a new place last year and getting crappy service but I did not feel that with her. She rudely said, "Well I asked you what insurance you had and you didn't know!" I told her her tone was unacceptable and rude. I told her I'd hoped she understand how I felt about my visit but with her silence could see she didn't care. She said, "Agh Ok!" and hung up. Wow what an experience Lens Crafters. Maybe Bradley needs to take PTO or permanent time off. This was unacceptable. I would have gladly rescheduled for the inconvenience of me being unknowingly late OR appreciated her saying hey try calling your insurance and we can see what happens but that did not occur. Fyi LC they have my address and phone number on file after I had it sent over from the other crappy place I tried so I fear retaliation but have to post this to help others. read more

After being told to sit down and wait, I explained that I would have to come back; the (customer service driven) store clerk SLAMMED down her IPAD and told me to "have a nice day". Oh, I did receive a call 2 hours later and the same (pleasant) clerk told me that the frames and lenses would be $900. Thank you LensCrafters for the pleasant experience! read more

I visited this store as a return customer for almost 2 decades. The poor treatment was due to Manager Alex who was training new staff. They redid my glasses several times and still didn't get it right. I was never offered a refund. After I went to Visionworks, I finally found out what was wrong. The pupillary distance was wrong and the staff couldn't measure it without a computer, so they didn't even recognize the problem when it presented itself. Alex was beyond rude. He was a bully. I only gave them a single star because it is requied. GO TO VISIONWORKS. They are trained in the business and they listen. read more
