Dr. Kimbery Forniss is so professional, caring, and welcoming! I felt totally at ease with her the moment she stepped into the exam room. She explains your condition perfectly in layman's terms. I was in the market for a new optometrist, when I called for an appointment with Dr. For iss but I couldn't get before my vacation and I was out of contacts. When I told Tish, the optician, my situation, she said "We can't have you on vacation without contacts . She put in a rush order for sample contacts that would last me until was able to get in for my appointment. I was so happy they took the time to help me when I wasn't even a patient yet. My contacts arrived well before my vacation. Well.. I am a patient now! read more

I've been putting off going to the eye doctor for some time. I haven't been in forever. I was happy to find Forniss Optometric was in network with my insurance. I called to check and the front office staff were very friendly and immediately checked my insurance. Not all places do that especially while you're on the phone! Once I went in the the staff was very friendly and helpful! They made check in easy. It wasn't a long wait. The eye doctor was kind and informative. She answered all my questions and explained everything well. At the end I was taken to a room in the back and shown the glasses on the wall that I could try on. I didn't feel rushed doing so and they had many options. The only thing I wish was a bit quicker was getting the glasses themselves. I was told it would be 10 business days from the day I was seen. I was called later and explained the tech who took my order had to leave due to something. Totally understandable with covid going on, so I'm hoping I get them soon! read more

This is the second year I have been here for my eye appointment. You are able to get in fairly quickly for an appointment. They have a large selection of frames and never pressure you to spend more than you are able to afford. During they eye exam they are very thorough and want to know history. I learned some family history this year and they said they will continue to follow it closely every year. If you choose to order glasses they have always come in very quickly. I cannot explain how grateful I am with Dr. Kimberly Forniss. She and her Mother were literally an answer to my prayer, heroes without capes. I hurt my eye and being not from this area I didn't know where to go, after some praying I dial her office number and her mother answered. She was already closed for the day but she made an exception, her mother called her and Dr. Kimberly made a special trip to take care of my emergency. When in need of an Optometrist don't look any further when you have true diamonds in the area. Dr. Kimberly and her mother are the true reason why you should never loose faith in humanity. I liked Dr. Forniss. I thought she did a great job giving me a thorough eye exam. I was seen on time, and felt comfortable in the waiting area. I needed new contacts, and I was pleased that she sent me home with a trial pair that day. Usually, with others docs, they have to call in trials for me to pick up a few days later, but she had a stock in the back. It was great. My contacts were in very quickly, which I appreciated. My wife called the office because my glasses were broke. Dr. Forniss called back and said my glasses were past the warranty but I could drop them off and she would see Wednesday she could do. Dr l.
