Dr. Till, Brooke and Riley are THE BEST! All 3 of them made my experience so wonderful! Riley did all of my preliminary testing and immediately made me feel super comfortable being in a new office around people I've never met before. I came in wanting to try out contacts (which is harder to get used to when you're 26 and have never touched your own eyeball before) and Dr. Till and Brooke were SO patient with me when I was practicing how to take them in and out. They answered all of my questions and made sure I felt confident with my new contacts, before I left. If you're looking for an optometrist, I would highly recommend this place!! They had a huge selection of frames to choose from, so there were plenty of styles to browse. Nathaniel was especially amazing throughout the process. He was super friendly, patient, and helped make several modifications so I could find the perfect pair. I never felt rushed, and he really took the time to make sure everything felt right. They also had a bartender serving espresso martinis during the event, which was such a fun touch. I ended up having a chilled white wine and enjoyed it while trying on frames. It wasn't planned as I was just going to browse, but I did end up purchasing glasses, and honestly, I've never spent this much on a pair before or added so many personalizations, but it truly felt worth it. They carefully fit the glasses, made sure the lenses were correct, and sent me home with a cute bag, case, cleaning cloth, and lens spray that can be refilled anytime, which I thought was such a cool perk. Located on the first floor of the Saleforce Tower in the heart of Downtown Indy, Moody Eyes is an affordable destination for purchasing glasses with lots of great options to choose from. We've been coming here for many years now and much prefer it to Lens Crafters and the other pricey alternatives. Dr Moody himself is such a kind man with a great sense of humor and I dread the day he retires. I don't want to go anywhere else! After looking at some frames i was told that with my "you have amazing vision insurance", I would still be required to pay nearly $100 for just a pair of single prescrition glasses. After several minutes of being intimidated by who I assume is Mrs. Moody, I then calmly explained how I normally do not pay for frames at the place I had previously gone. She responded with a look and tone that I can only describe as "unnecessary" and asked "well why didn't you go there then'? She was not nice, she absolutely meant it to be rude. I then said that I would not be getting glasses today and that i just want to pay for my visit. "Ten Dollars" are the only words she says next and I quietly handed her my payment, asked for my prescription to which she says "well we aren't going to give you measurements", which i replied with silence. I then proceeded to leave while promising never to return. I have never been treated so poorly by someone at a doctors office. I want to believe that I took things out of context or the wrong way but body language and tone said everything. As if they are angry because I can not afford their overpriced Luxottica frames... I will take my "had to do a double take your insurance was so good" and go somewhere better.

I was so excited. I explained my story to them and they let me know that those glasses were discontinued and they didn't have any in the store. They pointed out a few that looked like the ones I was interested in and I tried those on. I didn't find exactly what I was looking for so I started to head out. Before I left the lady at the counter let me know that she had made a few calls and had found the frames I loved at another store and was having them shipped to the Indy store! I was thrilled! 2 weeks later I popped back into the store with some friends and purchased them on the spot! Paid extra for the wider field of vision and the field of vision is still so narrow that I can't turn my head in the slightest before everything goes out of focus. I have now gone somewhere else and much happier with the lenses. My guess is they have a cheap lens grinding machine that just does a terrible job at getting a prescription right.
