I scheduled a road trip from Baltimore to St. Louis in such a way that I could visit this business specifically, and I was not disappointed! I had ordered three pairs of eyeglasses from the St. Louis store (now closed) over the years and needed this last pair adjusted to fit. Over 2 years ago I walked into the store and found the perfect pair of glasses. I was pumped! I was with my partner at the time and after I showed him he the glasses he made it VERY clear that he hated them and thought I looked terrible. After bickering for a few moments, but trying not to create a scene I gave in and put the glasses down and walked out of the store. Flash forward 2 years and I am once again in the market for new glasses and walk back into the store. After looking around and not seeing exactly what I am looking for I ask them if there is any chance they have my info in the computer and the list of glasses I tried on AND THEY DID!! I was so excited. I explained my story to them and they let me know that those glasses were discontinued and they didn't have any in the store. They pointed out a few that looked like the ones I was interested in and I tried those on. I didn't find exactly what I was looking for so I started to head out. Before I left the lady at the counter let me know that she had made a few calls and had found the frames I loved at another store and was having them shipped to the Indy store! I was thrilled! 2 weeks later I popped back into the store with some friends and purchased them on the spot! See is a bit more expensive than some of the other frame stores but their glasses are unique and fun and their customer service is out of this world. Would recommend to a friend! read more

Lisa is the greatest and sweetest girl in your office at Keystone, Indy, IN. I usually have so much trouble getting my glasses adjusted to be at the perfect point that it's frustrating. (Am very difficult and picky) I order my new frame and she was caring and genuinely care about my concerns. My last frame was purchase from your store but I had to make a dozen trips for the adjustments. Lisa hit all the adjustments in one visit. Very impressed with my first SEE experience! I was in the market for some fresh new frames and saw Brittany S. + others' rave reviews and thought I should check it out. It's located in the Fashion Mall nearest the Nordstrom side. It's a small boutique -- I was expecting a larger place -- but that being said they have TONS of options. We're talking hundreds of pairs. More eyeglass options that sunglasses, though. We were greeted quickly and I explained I didn't know what style/color I was looking for or what complemented my face shape and the stylist gathered some pairs for me to try and let me explore myself. The best part: the prices. Frames + lenses + reflective coating for me ran in the $200 range, although some frames are pricier than others and bifocals are more expensive, as well. If you don't know your prescription, no problem! You can sign a release and they'll contact your eye doctor and find out for you or they have an eye exam room in the back. Customer service was great, but the first individual who gathered options for me didn't return to check on me like I was expecting, but I did appreciate that no one hovered over me, either. Also have a loyalty program where after you buy 5 pairs, you get the 6th free (based on the average price of your previous purchases) and a warranty program where within the first year, if you damage your lenses or frames, you get 50% off the total tab. I loved all of the affordable and colorful variety of frames in the store. I was greeted right away but not pressured as I took my time checking out the wares and trying on a bajillion pairs. Once I was ready to get more serious in my search, Raquel jumped in to help me. Raquel was incredible! In a world of Ray Bans and Warby Parkers, it is way too easy to walk past someone wearing the same glasses as you. Yuck! Fail. No. SEE sells one pair of each of their frames, which are unique, sassy and right up my alley. The staff is delightful and does not pressure you to make a purchase before you are ready. I've gotten my last two pairs of glasses at SEE, and they often have Groupons as well. After purchasing my second pair, I even got a hand-written card from Kristen, the lovely staff member that helped me along the way. This quality of thoughtful service is (unfortunately) unheard of nowadays, but much appreciated! Thank you SEE friends, I'll be back soon. read more

Maybe I don't look hard enough locally, but I have had a hard time finding modern, black hipstery glasses that fit my face and abnormally small ears. I visited SEE with my partner, with a glimmer of hope, after checking out its website. Happily, I found many frames I liked, so much so that I had difficulty in making the final selection. The staff was friendly....maybe a little too friendly and clingy. We were hoping for a moment's solitude while I tried on frames, but an overly friendly attendant followed us around with commentary, a little awkward in the small space. My only other minor criticism is that I was not contacted when my glasses arrived and had to reach out on my own, so would suggest a different delivery mechanism. Overall, I liked SEE's shop and customer service, but loved their frame selection. read more

0 Stars. Ordered $300 glasses that were a poor fit. Had to get them adjusted more than once (4 times) because they would feel alright initially but would eventually give me a headache or slide off of my face. The staff became progressively more annoyed and flippant and less helpful each time I came in even though I was very polite and apologetic. After the fourth visit I felt like crying because I felt very embarrassed when the staff looked at me as if something was wrong with me. I just gave up. read more

Oh my gosh, coolest optical place ever! Completely different frames than what are normally available at your optometrist's office. If you're a fan of the retro, cat-eye 1960s look, SEE is absolutely necessary! The frames aren't cheap, but well worth the price. Huge selection, attractive displays and helpful staff. I visited the store exactly a week ago, where I got beautiful frames and lenses all for $159. It is a bit pricier than Warby Parker. However, they seem to have more frames that fit my face (I have a smaller face and the Warby Parkers I had tried all seemed a little too big). Also, you get to try them on and get them fitted in the store. Anyways, since I live in Bloomington, they did everything for me: Call my optician and send the glasses to me by Fedex, all free of charge (and within a week's time!). I got an email from the store with the tracking number, and they were extremely nice and remembered some things I had asked them. I couldn't be happier, and the glasses look beautiful on me! The service was amazing, and the girls who work at the store are incredibly nice. Thanks! read more

I worked with Raquel and she was wonderful. I am usually very picky with selecting my glasses. I want large frames with black in them, in odd shapes. I found a couple of frames that I liked but the color was unavailable. I was advised they get new stock monthly and glasses are on a first come first serve basis for availability. I will be back at the beginning of the month to see if there are any new frames I enjoy. Raquel was willing to remove sunglasses lenses to see what I might enjoy with regular lenses. No other optical place has done that for me and I have been wearing large frames for over 10 years. She also made recommendations for lenses as well. I really felt bad about not purchasing anything she was that good. read more

Awesome selection of eyewear. This was the Indianapolis store grand opening and the staff was enthusiastic, friendly and accommodating. Great customer service. Both Janelle And Jennifer were helpful with my sunglasses selection. I ordered prescription sunglasses and can't wait until I receive the end product. Kudos to the Fashion Mall for this eyewear store addition. I will update my review after receiving my glasses. For now I give 4 stars for excellent customer service and extraordinary frame selections. I'll let you be the judge on pricing. I thought the frames were very competively priced for fashion wear. I haven't had to purchase prescription progressive lens in years so I don't know whether the additional cost for this add-on was comparable to other eyewear stores. Last Saturday morning I woke up to my Great Dane eating my glasses for breakfast. I had planned to visit the ophthalmologist during the week to get a new pair but really did not have the time to take off work. After being driven to the mall by a family member for an unrelated errand (could not find my contacts), I stumbled upon SEE and was delighted to find that they could give me an eye exam in store right away. The eye exam was easy peasy and felt like I had gone to my regular ophthalmologist. Jennifer was so helpful in helping me select glasses that went well with my face (I always struggle with this). She also found a special deal for me to allow me to be able to afford a 2nd pair for backup in case of any future dog incidents, lol. All around it was a pleasant experience that allowed me to save money and get my new glasses ordered over the weekend! I could not be more please and will definitely return.
