So when Warby Parker announced a retail location in Indy...I was PUMPED. And it did not disappoint! The sales manager, Alex, greeted me and walked me through how the store operates and the glasses are organized. I found it very easy to navigate - eyeglasses on the left, sunglasses on the right, broken down by size/shape. Glasses are gender neutral and not organized by men's/women's. I appreciated that staff was there for questions and suggestions but let me try on and shop at my leisure. When I found the eyeglasses and sunglasses I loved, Alex handled the easy checkout. I had my prescription on hand but they will happily call your eye doctor for you. Eyeglasses are $95 for frames + single vision prescription lenses, and sunglasses are $175 for the same. AND it's free shipping to your house - no in-store pickup necessary (though they can adjust your frames if needed). AND for every pair purchased, they donate a pair to someone in need. AND if you're not satisfied, you can return/exchange within 30 days for a full refund. AND there's a 12 month guarantee on lenses. You scratch them? They replace them. Oh, and they take FSA, HSA and insurance. This place rocks. Great, affordable, stylish frames and fabulous customer service.

When we tried to ask her a question she spoke over us and said we were blocking a mirror for the lady she was helping. (but there were currently 5-6 other open mirrors) She wouldn't help us. Such weird vibes. The other staff members were kind but we were uncomfortable and left after this interaction.

I have already had a minimum of 4-5 exams/checkups and 5-6 visits with the lens technician in an attempt to get new glasses with a new Rx. Unfortunately, every visit with this office has been a disaster from day one. It started with incorrect eye appointments, lack of measurements by the technician, wrong lens prescriptions, incorrect lens/bifocals placement, and the inability to make a workable pair of glasses. I CONTINUE TO BE UNABLE TO SEE OUT OF THE CURRENT GLASSES/PRECRIPTION and have not had any resolution. The medical service, customer care, and technicians' ability to provide adequate lenses for a pair of glasses is way below standard for any office and I have voiced my concerns, suggested options, and continue to be ignored by the office staff, not getting a response or resolution. I am disappointed in my selection for services at this office. I decided to get a second opinion with another optometrist and provided the new results to Whitson Vision on 4/2/26. It noted the bifocals were not lining up, the Rx is different, and it is not even 20/20 vision with the lenses. When I provided this document to office staff, I was told I would be contacted. I did not get a response. I did stop into the office and ask for an update on 4/16/26 and still have not had a response to date. The treatment I have received and the inability to provide a satisfactory basic service by this office is unacceptable. I am requesting a complete refund of the purchase of the lenses only with totals $880. A staff member finally called back, weeks later, after I stopped in several time to talk to someone (no assistance) and they said they could make another pair of lenses if I would give them the Rx I had gotten from my second opinion. I asked for reimburse for those costs if I gave them the new Rx - they said no - so I did not agree to give them the new Rx. I did not get a response or resolve this issue by 4/30/2026, so I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office for assistance and to get some resolution from a scam of a business. Action is pending to date -as Whitson Vision is not responding to the AG's office either!! DO NOT GO THERE - there are better more honest providers!!!

    I had a terrible experience. They ruined my lenses because the woman at the front cracked the…read morecoating when she was trying to change the frame fit. She didn't apologize or admit to it which was extremely frustrating. When I reached out to their clinic manager, they offered me a discount on the lenses that they ruined. They never followed up during each time point. I was the one stuck reaching out multiple times (via email and multiple voice messages) until they called me back. To this day, they still never got back to me about how much the replacement lenses would cost (with their "discount"). They refused to pay for their mistake and now I, as the patient, am stuck paying for it. Not sure why they think they can justify that they can profit from my mistake that they made. When ordering my contact lens trial since I got a new prescription, they never called me to let me know the trial lenses arrived. Again, I was the one reaching out to ask about whether or not they came in yet. Then when I showed up at to pick up the trial lenses before work, the lady was standing in front of the TV, changing channels multiple times before tending to me. The communication to patients is poor and they will treat you poorly as well. Extremely disappointing experience overall.

    WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME!!…read more WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE!!! I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Eyeglass World that I feel compelled to share. I brought a friend's pair of glasses to their store for repairs, trusting their supposed expertise. They assured me they could fix them, but instead, the glasses were broken by one of their employees. To make matters worse, the employee giggled and said, "I'm sorry, super glue is now your best friend," without offering any compensation or a proper apology. Taking my grievance to corporate seemed like the right move, so I did, but a few days later, the store manager's response was equally frustrating. Instead of compensating for the glasses their employee broke, she offered to cover the cost of an eye exam and insisted we pay regular prices for new glasses, with a buy-one-get-one promotion that's already available to the public. When I expressed my frustration and argued that I shouldn't have to pay for glasses they broke, the manager coldly replied that comping the glasses or the eye exam was against company policy. She said I could either accept the eye exam or receive nothing at all. It's against company policy, yet she offers me one anyway; she can do both. This blatant disregard for their responsibility was appalling to me. The situation was made worse by the manager's attitude, rudeness, unprofessionalism, and flat-out dishonesty. She claimed that her employee had warned me about the risk of breaking the glasses, which was an outright lie. If I had been informed of any risk, I would have taken them elsewhere for repair. When I asked for proof of their supposed terms of service acceptance, she caught an attitude and lied through her teeth about having video evidence and refused to show it. She then contradicted herself by saying customer service, not she, reviewed the footage. This experience has shown me that Eyeglass World is not only unprofessional but also deceitful. They failed to take responsibility for their mistake, lied about the circumstances, and treated a loyal customer with utter disrespect. I will never trust or recommend Eyeglass World to anyone. They are a complete disgrace and a huge disappointment. Avoid this place at all costs!
