I was able to easily schedule my appointment over the phone after a few rounds of phone tag and found a lovely appointment at the end of the day on a Friday to make for easy work scheduling. All three of the staff I encountered were professional and answered my questions about COVID safety precautions and cleaning processes. They also took my temperature upon entry. This particular visit was just for an eye exam but it's worth noting that they have a fun lineup of prescription (and non) sunglasses and glasses. Invista Optical is conveniently located a little over a block from the Cultural Trail and Mass Ave action making it especially handy for downtown dwellers and employees. Would recommend!

The security guard at the meridian location is rude and treats you like a criminal just for knocking on the door. I paid the deductible in cash in full before the surgery. Then they bill me for more money afterward without any mention of extra charges before hand. I refused to pay it as a result. Now every time they resend the bill it's for a different amount. I've been having trouble with my eye's ever since and see reflections out of the corner of mu right eye and I see what looks like a hair floating around in my eye but it's not a hair. I'm barely getting by on retirement and I can't afford this. They have just sent me a letter telling me they are handing it to collections for $155.00. This place sucks

The prescription was not the same as my sample lenses. Because the lenses were purchased at Costco and one used before, I realized what was wrong, I was stuck with $200 of contacts I could not wear. They asked me if I would like a re-exam and I refused, what good is it going to a Dr. who already screwed up. Temple was kind and understanding but limited on what she could do. I received a questionnaire from the corporate office and filled it out with the facts (as above) It stated they would like to talk further and asked if it was ok to call. Of course. That call got action. Temple, who had already been so caring called and explained who the new Dr. was. What he would do before selling contacts and they offered a free eye exam. I agreed, with some hesitation and embarrassment. It was not necessary as they were welcoming, and the new eye Dr. spent about 45 minutes making sure the new contacts would fit. He even recognized I did not want daily wear contacts and gave me a test pair that were really comfortable. As fate would have it my husband hit my hand when I was placing a contact in my eye, and we have never found it. Upon calling, Temple, I was given a new pair and explained I didn't feel I was reading menus as well as I could. They included another contact to try, after talking with the Doctor. Contacts are now comfortable, and I am able to read a menu. I am going back again. Great difference with a doctor who knows what he is doing from one who does not.

It turns out it may be a double entendre as it is Dr Moody's optometry one stop shop. Located on the first floor of the Saleforce Tower in the heart of Downtown Indy, Moody Eyes is an affordable destination for purchasing glasses with lots of great options to choose from. We've been coming here for many years now and much prefer it to Lens Crafters and the other pricey alternatives. Dr Moody himself is such a kind man with a great sense of humor and I dread the day he retires. I don't want to go anywhere else! His wife, Connie, also works with him and together they make a great team! It's easy to schedule an appointment online. Highly recommend it!

She responded with a look and tone that I can only describe as "unnecessary" and asked "well why didn't you go there then'? She was not nice, she absolutely meant it to be rude. I then said that I would not be getting glasses today and that i just want to pay for my visit. "Ten Dollars" are the only words she says next and I quietly handed her my payment, asked for my prescription to which she says "well we aren't going to give you measurements", which i replied with silence. I then proceeded to leave while promising never to return. I have never been treated so poorly by someone at a doctors office. I want to believe that I took things out of context or the wrong way but body language and tone said everything. As if they are angry because I can not afford their overpriced Luxottica frames... It took several days after that for me get my summary. I was told my glasses would be in in 2 weeks, but they were not. After 3 weeks I called inquiring about the glasses. I was put on hold and waited for some time. The person came back to the phone and asked me for some personal information, and I was put on hold again. That person came back and let me know that my glasses were in and told me the they had not been displayed yet. I asked her how long that had been at the shop she implied, for some time. The optometrist I saw, Dr. Fiechter, was SO professional and nice, and took the time to explain the intricacies of my eye health to me -- no eye doctor had ever done that before. She even showed me images of the back of my eye, and explained what we were looking at. She wasn't just going through the motions. I wasn't planning on getting my eyeglasses here, but this place has so many different brands and styles of glasses that I ended up finding the perfect pair here. My glasses were ready a whole week earlier than scheduled, which was just perfect. I can't recommend Progressive Eyecare and Eyewear enough!

They informed me that it would be $169 just to be connected to the on call doctor. I find this to be absolutely absurd that for an eye emergency I can't even talk to someone. What absolutely terrible customer service, I have never once had to pay in order to talk to someone for an eye emergency. Shocking, beware if you're thinking of becoming a patient there, hope you never need someone after hours.

The front has the building's address hidden into an eye chart and a brown eyed man with glasses on and the colorful waves behind the eye chart and to the mans right. The left side of the building has a blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman, yep, you guessed it, with eye glasses, looking at the colorful waves that are in front of her. I like the colors used in the mural. The colorful waves contrast very well with the background. And even though it is somewhat basic, the artwork is on point, Olson is very talented. The mural is in excellent shape and looks pretty fresh. Parking here to get a closer look is pretty simple. You can pull into the clinic's parking lot or snag a free spot on the street, get out and look as long as your heart desires. I just parked on the street in front of the clinic. Anyway, as with most murals that I have visited and reviewed, this is not a long stop. I was there less than 5 minutes. So, you may want to consider planning out additional stops at many of the other attractions in the area, or making this stop part of a larger itinerary to maximize your time and trip.

Really? Interesting, considering I received no voicemail and never spoke to them on the phone once. That review will be forthcoming and will very likely have a far different tone and tenor than this one). They went above and beyond to help me pick up the mess that the eye surgeon's office left me in less than a week before the surgery, so I was extremely appreciative of that. A little pricey, even for Fishers. Hard to get a prompt appointment. I called up and told them my vision was blurry and I had headaches by the end of the day every single day. See you in two weeks.
