Terrible terrible store. The manger Riley and assistant manger are rude, unprofessional and have no customer service skills. I would advise anyone to never shop at this particular location ever again. When I asked for the general mangers contact information or whoever overseas this store Riley refused . The manger (Riley) yelled in my face and told me to get out of HER store for trying to make a complaint on the assistant manger for literally being rude, unprofessional, dismissive and lack of customer service skills. Come to find out the manager (Riley) was even worse. The assistant manager walked out of my face literally mid conversation and never came back out. I was just trying to gain some knowledge on my glasses about a warranty on my glasses. (That she said I had to have a printed copy of my warranty, which I didn't understand is why I was trying to gain insight, I had my warranty on my phone with my name attached and ID in hand) They answered no questions and were instantly hostile and told me to leave HER store, Maybe because I am a black man and they feel as though they don't have to show me basic human decency. I feel as though I have been discriminated against. They literally wouldn't even give me the light of day ignored me, Riley yelled at me and my fiancé while our 8 year old child was right there next to us even she was shocked and saddened. As soon as I tried to make a complaint she cut me off , The manager Riley tried to intimidate me by yelling and pointing in my face and telling me to get out of HER store which it is not her store. SHE is an employee of the store. Not the owner. I know this extremely repetitive but I feel as though I need to reiterate the severity of this situation, because this is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. I would give them a zero star if I could. I had a terrible experience at this lens crafter store in the galleria. The STORE MANAGER, Riley and ASSISTANT MANGER were extremely, extremely rude and unprofessional to me and my finance. We were in there asking questions about a warranty on my meta glasses. We were polite and respectful. The altercation started with the assistant manager I was asking question about my warranty she was extremely rude and dismissive and literally walked out of my face and went back into her office mid conversation. So I asked one of the sales associates to get the manager. Riley (store manager) took her time coming out to a customer complaint. Once she finally came out I simply stated In the most respectful way that the assistant manager was extremely rude and unprofessional and that is not how you treat customers. This is a retail store so I would think customer service would be at the upmost importance to the company. Mid conversation she literally cut me off yelled at me pointed her finger in my face and told me to get out of her store. Which I did, so now I am here to make a complaint. I will also be leaving some on Google. Hoping that no one ever spends another dollar at that store. This was frustrating, and it could have been easily avoided. I called to get the fax number so I can send my prescription in and get some glasses. When we got there they let us know the fax machine was broken. This would have been nice to know before we changed our schedule to go get glasses. Also with it being Saturday it took us 20 minutes to just park at the Galleria. Just moved to the area and was looking for a new doctor's office. Today, I went into my appointment that I booked last night, for 5:15 PM today. As soon as I got there, they stated that the appointment was not scheduled on their end and they could not get me in at my scheduled time. My wife and I drove 30 minutes across Dallas for this appointment.. They then stated when we arrived that they don't take appointments past 5:00 PM... then why was I able to book at 5:15 PM? I purchased a very expensive pair of frames even after insurance. Took them home and they were terrible. Went back to my doctor and explained and he slightly adjusted the rx. Took them back to LensCrafters at Williwbend. Picked them up 2 weeks later and they were no different. The man , I supposed he was a manager, says to me maybe we are just not the place for you. A few months ago i bought a pair of sunglasses form Lens Crafters. The Consultant, Natasha B., was beyond helpful. She was knowledge, considerate and efficient. A gem! Yesterday i sat on my sunglasses and bend the frame. I brought them in to be repair and fortunately for me and my sunglasses Natasha was working. Please reconsider ordering your glasses from here. I knew there was a reason I hadn't ordered my glasses from here in the past 5 years. The order process is absolutely terrible. Wherever their lenses are manufactured, I believe Georgia, need to be fired. I placed my order on 01/17/23 and I was told 01/31 was my pick up date. seems a little long, seeing that at the other company I would go through took less than that, but fine? whatever. I get there 01/31, and surprise surprise, my glasses aren't ready! They tell me they should be in Monday, cool I guess, at least tell me the glasses are running late/delayed? Associate: "did you get a text" Me: "No I did not!" So Monday rolls around, younger girl waits on me, I ask for my order, she looks, of course not there. She tells me "It says they'll be in on Friday, 02/10" Walk in today, Friday 02/10, talk with a female associate, she looks for my order, guess what?....that's right, not there!! She does however seems much more knowledgeable about the ordering process and she gets to telling me that my original order was cancelled and then reprocessed! WTF?! this information would have saved me so much of a headache and travel to there and from work. She was able to verify that my order was "ready to ship", which tells me the glasses are still sitting in Georgia or wherever the hell they get their lenses from. So that's at least another 2-3 days before they get here. Again, she was helpful, told her it wasn't her fault but that someone needs to hear about this. It has now been 24 days since I've placed my order and I had only received one text saying "Order was delayed" only AFTER I went in asking about it. It will be a whole damn month before I am able to see again!! another issue I had on 01/17 was the woman placing my order trying to add every single markup/add-on even after I specifically asked her I wanted to see what the base price is and I will make my decision from there. She ends up adding everything and glasses ended up being almost $700, WTF?!! then I noticed everything on there and I tell her take these add-ons off, which she only takes off 1-2, I still see the others, and I ask her again, take these off...sigh* I think I did end up paying close to $300(I only wanted to pay around $200-250) but man what a difference that was! I wont be back...well at least not after I pick up my glasses, if they ever come? Listen to your customers, Respond to your customers, Take care of your customers. read more

They will pver charge you on your lens. Will not tell you of options but just assume you want everything on lenses. A $10 co pay turned into $276 for lenses only. We switched to wife's plan so I didn't know and trusted sales rep. Told her only want what is standard with no additional costs not paid for by insurance. I didn't realize ehat she did until I looked at what our policy covered and she included insurance?!?! The yotal gor my sons designer frames should have been $108. She charged me $276 out of pocket. Complained yo manager who said it look like she gave me the best option. I told him she gave no options just pretended this is the lowest cost yo me per insurance coverage and gave no options. The reason I chose this location was due to my insurance saying they were premium providers and I wouldn't have a co-pay... this was incorrect, if you have astigmatism there will be extra charges. Also there is a retina scan that cost $39 and my insurance says they cover up to $39. They advised me that insurance didn't cover this charge. Can we not do the match people? This is just the beginning. Most of the exam was machines and when discussing contact use they tried to convince me to use a different brand that I have confirmed doesn't work with my eye rotation. I am know on a doctor direct contact use for 5 days. I only wear them for sporting activities. When going to get my frames, they advised that the insurance which says contact lenses and frames or frames and lens didn't mean that. I will be contacting my eye insurance today to review the policy, however with regards to LensCrafters, beware of the hidden fees and how they can not determine the policy correctly. read more

After picking up my glasses, I noticed that I could see numbers on the lenses. I called and asked about this and was told it was normal for progressives although I never noticed this on my older lenses. After only a month of having the glasses, the lens coating starting making fuzzy lines. I also thought that my prescription was wrong because my eyes were having a terrible time adjusting to my prescription. I took the glasses back to LensCrafters and was told the lenses were scratched from using paper towels. I explained that I never use paper towels but they said the fuzziness was my fault and that I'd have to order new lenses at my expense. I was also told my lack of adjusting to the lenses was because my prescription had probably changed. I decided to make an eye appointment at a different optometrist with in house glasses. It was determined that the lens coating was defective, my progressive line was set wrong and I did not need a new prescription. Thanks for wasting my money LensCrafters. Got eye glasses prescription from LensCrafters. My prescription used to be around 1.5/1.8 and she gave a prescription where it was 3/4. I was not able to find a decent selection at their center, and eventually got some frames/glasses somewhere else - thats when I realized somethings very wrong. But it was past 90 days since exam and was too late to redo the exam. When I called up for a new appointment, they were ready to do it if I pay out of pocket - which is okay since it's their policy, but were insisting they gave a right prescription as per the exam. This place was next door to my eye doctor, so naturally, I decided to come in. After browsing around I was approached by a very pleasant young Hispanic woman who helped me pick out some frames and was willing to go over some prices with me. I don't wear my glasses outside of my house as I am a contact lens wearer but when I purchase a pair, I want them to be nice. I wear a pretty high prescription because I have astigmatism, so naturally I want the thinnest lens they have and frames that are decent. So with that being said, I don't mind paying for a pair of glasses as I only replace them every few years. Well, after sitting down with the pleasant lady, this old battle axe comes out of no where and takes over from there. She asked me a few questions, narrowed her eyes alot at me, and basically turned her nose up at me for not wanting to shell out $500+ right off the bat right there and then. I already wrote that I don't mind spending some dough on some glasses, but forgive me if I wanna shop around a little! Sheesh! Can you blame me for wanting to think about it before I drop this much money on a pair of glasses I can get somewhere else for a little cheaper?! I mean think if the freakin economy and my access to the Internet you elderly Satan on wheels! So even AFTER receiving this abuse, I stop in a few weeks later. My sister was sweet enough to buy me my frames for Christmas so all I had to do was buy the lenses. The same older lady flatly told me since I got the frames separately, I'd have to pay full price for the lenses. WHAT? You mean to tell me the $500+ was a DISCOUNTED price? Really? Anyhow, without going into the tirade of the unspeakable rudeness this lady presented me with, I ended up going to the Lencrafters in Northpark and they worked out a nice deal and treated me with respect and sincerity and with some ingenuity, were able to get me a 30% discount overall on the glasses. I decided to start the new year with some new specs. I visited a different eye doctor from the first I went to years ago. Right next door was a Lens Crafters. I was greeted just as soon as I walked in and was able to make my picks of glasses without pressure. Once I found several styles I liked the sales lady along with the other staff helped me find the pair of glasses that looked good on me. Everyone was so nice an personable. They even tightened the screws and cleaned my Ralph Lauren sunglasses that didn't even buy from them. I ended up purchasing a pair of Prada eyeglasses and Tiffany sunglasses that I am absolutely in love with. Oh and they were able to have my eye glasses ready in an hour, but the sunglasses were special ordered song have to wait for those. I arrived back in Florida and started looking but could not find them. I took a chance and called this location and spoke with the Manager John. I asked him what the chances were to order my new eyeglasses over the phone from Fl in Tx since my new prescription wasin the system and I knew the model number of the frames. My husband originally purchased Ray-Ban sunglasses for me from Lens crafter's at Willow bend mall but my sunglasses needed adjustments so i went into this location of Lens Crafter's in Galleria mall and the Asian sales associate was extremely helpful. He restored the bent out of shape and crooked sunglasses and made them look brand new. He even gave me a free carrying case he said he had extra and it would keep my glasses safe. I went to the eye doctor of this Lens Craft in Galleria Mall. This office is not good, let me tell you...The reception girl and the doctor are the only two staff in the office. The reception girl did half of the examination work - use those automatic machine to do my test. Then, the doctor came in, do those "which one is better, 1 or 2" that kind of things. She is highly unprofessional, during the examination she put a candy into her mouth, and it became annoying when she smacking her mouth and enjoying her candy while talking to me.....While doing the paperwork, it says if i would like to pay $40 for a computerized test for the doctor to see inside of my eyes without using the traditional eyedrops (eyedrops will give blurry vision for a few hours). I checked "I want to use the traditional eyedrops", but ended up she didn't give me the test at all! The whole process is very brief, comparing to my eye examination at other office. The total time i got examined is much less than the time i spent at waiting area, although i arrive at the appointment time! In conclusion, unprofessional doctor, uncompleted service. PS: i went to the next door and checked the price. With insurance, they still gonna charge $360 for a pair of glasses - and i didn't even pick the brand name frame. Funny thing is $360 is after 40% off + after my insurance. I work at government so insurance coverage is very good. Yes I walked away without buying the glasses. read more

Maui Jim doesn't make my favorite sunglass frames anymore and I bought replacement lenses online. I brought in my Maui Jims to have the lenses replaced. John was immediately attentive, helpful and quickly replaced the lenses for me. I will be needing bifocals soon and will definitely be back due to the customer service I received. read more

Went in to get my sunglasses adjusted, which I've done at the Northpark location plenty of times. The girl took it to the back for some reason then came back and explained they couldn't be adjusted or they'll break. Another employee offers assistance and just bends the arms but doesn't adjust the hinge says that the lenses that were placed were too thick. I explained what the other location typically does and that these were the lenses recommended to me but they claimed that they were unable to do adjust them. He started babbling off about irrelevant the lenses again and tightening the screws too often. I explained that I've never gotten the screws tightened so... Guess the workers here aren't as skilled as the Northpark location. I asked about the longevity of frames if they're claiming that they'll break if adjusted and he replied a year. I visited this location in Dec 2017. When I received my glasses, I had a very hard time adjusting to the new prescription. Due to my work travel schedule, I was not able to get back to Dr. Joe's office before the end of the 30 days. I had to pay a 2nd fee on the next visit to have my prescription adjusted. Dr. Joe advised that the problem was with the glasses and not the prescription, so the LensCrafters location next door remade my glasses. I experienced the same issue and could not wear the glasses. In Sept of 2018, I visited another location with a different doctor an explained the issue I had with the previous precription. Initially, she advised that I probably didn't give my eyes enough time to adjust to the previous prescription. After she compared the results of both exams, she confirmed that the prescption provided by Dr. Joe in 2017 was way off in one of the lenses. I feel like that Dr. Joe at the Galeria location is a thief and a horrible doctor. I say this because on my 2nd visit she created a set of test glasses that I could see out of perfectly, so she knew exactly what the prescription should have been. Who knows what kind of damage that incorrect prescription could have done to my eyes. I strongly believe that Dr. Joe just did not want to refund my money for the 2nd visit. So, my boyfriend and I had came to this location to find him so new frames. The first visit was great. The first woman was super helpful and we had great customer service. Thats what the second star was for. When the glasses were ready, we went in to try them on and see what adjustments would need to be made. The two girls in the store were so rude and gave my boyfriend and I dirty looks the whole time. They just handed him his glasses essentially. They barely asked him if they were comfortable or notHe kept telling them that he felt they were crooked. They kept telling him he was wrong and if they adjusted them, then they would actually be crooked. I mean, my boyfriend knows his face better than anyone else. I know to never tell a customer they are wrong. And if he wants them like that, whats the issue? Give the customer what they want, and everyone is happy. I just dont understand, since lenscrafters is not cheap, but its not the best of the best. so im expecting at least 3 or 4 star service. Recently I bought two pair of glasses from LensCrafters at the Dallas Galleria location. A friend had recommended them. I couldn't believe how well I was treated. The staff was very helpful and friendly with their warm personalities and their professional service advice. When I told my husband about the way I was treated, he decided to buy a new pair of prescription sunglasses from them. Sometimes when you recommend a company or a service to someone it can often prove to be less than expected. However, in this case it was even better than expected. Not only were the prices very competitive and lower, but the level of service was again the same exceptional quality that I received. Needless to say, we were both extremely pleased that we chose LensCrafters and they will continue to be our go-to providers for any eye wear need. The person who helped me was new and apparently challenged. She made a copy of my prescription and insurance card and put the frames I had selected on hold. She was supposed to give me a call after she had a chance to run my insurance and see how much they would pay. I never got a call so I phoned them instead. I was told by Jessica, who acted like she ran the place, that my documents were nowhere to be found and I would just have to come back in. She was not willing to take any of my information over the phone in order to save me time when I did come back in. She was rude and unhelpful so I hung up on her. My husband called her back and asked for the manager. She said he would have to call us back, he never did. In short, I wasted a lot of time selecting frames which I then went and purchased for a lot less at Sam's Club.
