I had to give at least one start for this review, but I would prefer to give NO stars for the LensCrafters in Fairfield. I bought two pair of glasses from them, and wanted to have my old pair fitted with my new prescription, so I could have options. When the young woman waiting on me tried to take my lens out, she broke my frames. She then started blaming my frames on being too brittle, too old, too frail. Not once did she apologize for breaking my glasses. Now, I am without my old pair of glasses. I was told by the team lead that they would buy me new frames, but I have no idea what that's going to be like. This whole thing could have gone more smoothly if the young woman waiting on me who broke my glasses would have shown some remorse and apologized. Won't shop with them again. read more

Fantastic world-class service from Anthony at Lenscrafters!!! My husband's prescription Raybans were stuck. Basically, they would not close. The left side was stiff. He went in and Anthony tried to fix them but they would not close for him either. He then offered to replace them right then and there. Wow! What a delight. He popped off the lenses and switched them to a new pair that worked perfectly. So happy with Lenscrafters' service! read more

So I've had to go in 3 times to have measurements redone and this last time I went in their computers were down so they wrote everything out on a form. I said I would call in a couple days to pay, give time for the system to be fixed. I call in and they didn't have my measurements again! So I'm explaining this to whoever was answering the phone today how this isn't professional and if this happened with my company I wouldn't have customers. I let them know I was calling corporate. Her response "that's fine have a nice day sir....ASSHOLE." I said "ASSHOLE HUH?!" They immediately hung up on me. So I called back and Curtis answered. He tried to say that it was a customer calling me an asshole while I was on the phone with an employee. Riiiiiiight. He would not give me the name of the woman that was on the phone so I went in. I was greeted by two sarcastic unprofessional young kids "Jackie and Curtis". They went on to blame it on a customer and then said that the associate I spoke with left...with in the 5 minutes it took me to get there. I asked for her name and they wouldn't provide me with a first name to report to a supervisor. I then let them know that I was going to let corporate know about their unprofessionalism...Jackie then says "have the day you deserve" and then laughed so I had enough. I was driving around to several stores in Cypress looking for the perfect frames for my new prescription. All of the other stores I walked into either had poor frame selections or had a poor attitude. When I walked into this lens crafters I was immediately greeted by a gentleman who might have been the manager and I knew within 20 seconds I was going to purchase my glasses from this store. It was beautiful and clean with outstanding customer service. I immediately saw about 10 pairs that I wanted to try on and I believe Brittany is the associate that helped me. She offered to take pictures of me wearing different frames so I could easily compare. I've worn glasses for over 15 years and I can say this is the best experience ever!! If I could give this location zero stars I would. Very unprofessional staff. I walked into this location in Cypress TX today with my prescription. One of the attendants first couldn't pull up my coverage on my insurance, then had me call my own insurance to verify and ask for the coverage, for me to provide to her. I went ahead and called right in front of her and validated the coverage with my VSP insurance. My out of network coverage included a $300 frame coverage and free lenses, regardless of type. (I have very good insurance). She went and told her general manager "Jonathon". Jonathon stated to his associate that, this was impossible, that there is no way that I would have that type of coverage! He sent her to tell me this. I asked to speak directly with him and he refused to speak to me three times. He finally comes out of his office and tells me directly that I would have to call the insurance back in front of him, with the insurance on speaker phone for him to hear. That this would be the only way he would believe me. At this point I'm thinking to myself this is ridiculous!! His associates just had me call and ask and here I am doing all this again in front of him, he's pretty much calling me a liar. Even worst he's having me do this in front of of the rest of his staff and all other customers that were in the store. At this point, it wasn't even about the sale anymore, it was now about me proving this general manager wrong "Jonathon" that it was wrong the way he was treating me and basically embarrassing me and calling me a liar. He dialed the number just to make sure I wasn't calling someone else, he placed the call on speaker phone and the agent explained to him the coverages that I have, which were the same ones I explained to Jonathon and his associate from the beginning. The agent over the phone pretty much told Jonathon that I had one of the best insurances she had ever seen. You could see that Jonathons face expressions were not the best at that point. And I told him, he didn't have to treat me like a liar and discriminate against me and then walked out. I think it's amazing how people still try to judge a book by its cover. I am a Mexican American 37 year old guy that walked in with his wife. We were not dressed and were just in hang out regular shorts and T-shirt, and Jonathon and his team acted very judgmental towards us. The majority of customers in this store were Caucasian and you can see the difference on how he was treating the rest of the customers vs the way he was treating me and my wife. Complete stereo type and racial profiling from this so called store manager Jonathon. I am a proud Mexican American.37 years old originally from Los Angeles California. I make over 750k a year and drive a Lamborghini and a Mercedes S class. I am as and most likely more successful than this Caucasian store manager "Jonathon", that thinks he can discriminate and treat Hispanics different because of his assumptions and racial profiling. I would never recommend nor will I ever walk into this establishment again. I will call the news papers, and will post this statement on every media website available to ensure this never happens to anyone again!!! Again this is the LensCrafters in the city of Cypress TX, and the store managers name is Jonathon. Stay away from this place. It's amazing how now in days society could still be like this. read more

This location has not been open for very long but their customer service is absolutely amazing!! They are helpful and kind. Jonathan, the General Manager, is AWESOME!!!!! My daughter and I went in to get glasses, he fitted her and one of the other associates fitted mine. I decided to use my old sunglasses and get new lenses. Well...this caused a little confusion for the lab. Jonathan was quick to offer a solution if the glasses didn't come in soon. Meanwhile, when I would go in to check on my glasses he would call me by name every time. He would ask about my daughter by name and how she was doing with her new glasses. Jonathan was always sure to remind me that we have a 30 days satisfaction guarantee and if for any reason we were not satisfied with our glasses we could get them remade. I paid for my glasses. Not only didn't I receive any cleaning clothes, the associate offered no alternatives. I was told at another location that they were out and expecting a shipment. The people in the Cypress 290 location are not good at customer service. Jonathan helped when I ordered the glasses originally but things went downhill after that. Abbey, at the Willosbrook location was the reason why I went back to Cypress. I should have followed her. read more

Eye doctor is horrible next door. She can not get my prescription correct. Her receptionist is equally incompetent. They are unqualified, rude, and handle follow ups in the lobby as was my case. They should NOT be in this area. I now have to find another eye doctor and pay for another exam because of their lack of experience and care for patients there! read more

Eye doctor I saw were both female doctor. Both were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Clean and pleasant experience and environment
