One star! That's what they're getting from me. Hmp! Feel free to read my review.. Coz this branch is baloney!!! Went in with a relative of mine. They told her her glasses were gonna take a week so that's fine. Then their system is down so they took down all the necessary information (credit card and insurance information). They said they were gonna call once the system is up and the have the final price of the glasses (with insurance deduction). Waited for a call, nothing! Then my relative called them and said that they are still waiting for a "box" to arrive so that their system goes up and running. Mind you that this was on Thursday! We went in on a Sunday!!! Anyway, so meaning to say that the order hasn't been placed yet! On a Thursday!!! And they said that the glasses will take one week!!! Ugh!!! Whatever.. So.. one week passed, now it's a Tuesday, passed one week, called up and followed up, now they're saying that they are missing a number of the credit card info?!! Wtf?!! Maaan... and I thought they have all the information written down on their forms?!! I think they all need to get of there eyes checked to make sure that one single number of credit card information is not missing on their forms! Looks like I ain't going to this branch at all!!! Worst customer service EVER!!! read more

This was the best experience I've ever had at an optometrist. Dr Islam took the time to explain my condition more thoroughly than any Doctor previously. Their equipment is more advanced which allowed them to show me very clearly what was happening with my eyes and to detect a condition they might not have detected otherwise. Excellent customer service! From the minute you walk in the door, all through the exam with Dr. Lam, to picking out frames and working with your insurance... excellent, helpful and very informative. I came here on a Saturday after making a same day appointment. My son had his eye poked by a clothes rack at a store and I wanted to make sure there was no major damage. They fit us right in and took care of him and while I was there they were able to get me in for an exam and update my prescription. Very happy with everything. This team goes above and beyond..... it took every employee in the store to coax my son (4yrs old) to take the digital picture of his injured eye. Dominique stepped in and saved the day. I took the advice of my friend who has been a Lenscrafters customer for years, I was greeted by Anthony, who gives the best customer service in the world. He makes things easy, and he even went out of his way to try to find if I indeed did have vision insurance anywhere hidden in my insurance plan. Anthony also did the vision testing before I went in to see Dr. Ng. Dr. Ng was great! She explains things so well and tunes into your concerns, giving you a personalized answer to your questions. While the staff is polite they are not very welcoming. I called ahead of my appointment to ask if I was going to get my eyes dilated so I could arrange a ride. I was told there was an alternative and didn't need to arrange a ride. When I arrive and begin the appointment I'm told that the option is an extra $40. I specially called ahead of time. I walked out on my appointment When I had to sign a form stating that I declined both services. read more

I have been going to a local eye dr in Corona on Main Street. I was happy but always struggled with going through the exam (including dilating my eyes) then.... trying to pick out glasses when my eyes are dilated the size of Jupiter. So after my wife discovered LensCrafters shortly after they opened I thought I would give them a try. Extremely satisfied! Dr. Lam is very patient and took his time finding the right contacts for me (since I wanted to get rid of glasses). Took several appointments to get exactly what I need, but now I am so satisfied. The entire team is wonderful, from when you walk to through the door, to the doctor, and finalizing your purchase, they make sure your glasses fit well and make sure you feel comfortable through your visit. The second i walk in skinny guy comes up to me without saying hello , saying, we are not accepting cash, are system is down can't check your u Duran was, orders are taking 3-4 weeks. Extremely rude! Then I say im cash patient and again continues on saying we can't check ur insurance so we can't even process any orders today's, it's like, did you hear what I said?? Irving is his name I believe. Excellent Staff I have nothing but high praises for this business. I was a pirate for a while and had to wear one contact lens because my prior optometrist couldn't find the right fit for both eyes. The young lady that performed my exam on 1-3-21, Dr. Lam and Hugo changed all that. I'm wearing two lenses again with a little "Out Of The Box Thinking". I came here about 2 months ago. Completely unhappy with my glasses and annoyed at the fact that they try to upsell everything you DO NOT need and after I was adamant about not wanting my glasses progressive.........guess what, they are progressive. I don't think they understood or cared that it wasn't about the cost...it was about me not wanting progressive. I am not ready for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so annoyed I did not return them, simply because I would have to wait 2-3 weeks to get new ones, after I was clear about what I wanted. read more

My last and final experience with this particular LensCrafters or any other occurred on my last visit at this location. Had made an appointment in advance and arrived early. A parade of people were apparently scheduled for the Eye Doctor around the same time. After being ignored 20 minutes past my appointment time I left. Before that I had told one employee there that I needed my Prescription lenses polished because I could barely see out of them and I was told that they could not do that on transition lenses. So my eye coverage changed. I had to find an eye doc locally. I made an appt, saw Dr Islam. I was given sample contacts that were way lower than my normal rx. I had to go back a second time for dilation and that went fine. The third time I went I told them I couldn't see with the contacts they had given me to sample. This time I saw Dr Lam. They gave me stronger contacts and at all these visits kept mentioning "mono vision" which I had never heard of. I was born severely far sighted with astigmatism in my good eye. I told them my left eye was REALLY THAT BAD, my doc since 1995 had NOT USED monovision. So I ordered contacts, going to give this a chance. A year's worth which is their policy. Now I've been there four times, I still can't focus my eyes. I have to wear my progressive trifocals to work everyday. They don't want to hear about it anymore. They used my bad eye as my "reading eye". So I have a reading eye and a distance eye. They don't jive. And Dr Lam told me to buy readers at cvs to wear WITH MY CONTACTS for night driving. If you have complicated vision issues do not go to this office for exam. Very disappointing. Okay. I havent been able to see clearly since August. The contacts they recommended (with astigmatism in one eye) led to me not being able to focus my eyes. I went back three or four times. I went to my old optometrist and paid cash yesterday. I've NEVER WORN A CONTACT FOR ASTIGMATISM. The verdict? This Lenscrafters gave me a contact for astigmatism, which is very minor, and it is the reason I couldn't focus. Also, the contacts they gave me for the other eye were off by 90 degrees. Idk what they're doing but they're doing it all wrong. OMG! I CAN SEE! Dr Lam and the entire staff were so awesome. After discussing my options and examination, He switched me over to multifocal contact lens...I have worn monovision for the last 3 years..I just simply can not believe how well I can see. I was reading signs across the showroom and small print on posters as I walked by. I can read my cellphone without squinting and flapping my arm around for perfect location. I AM SO FREAKING HAPPY!!! Very helpful and polite staff. Dr Lam spent so much time explaining things to me...I wish every dr treat patients like that. read more

This was the worst eye experience ever. Ended up having to go to a real optometrist to get my prescription right. Waste of time and 3 months of my life. Save your time and money they don't know what they are doing. Went in Dec for an eye exam the prescription was way off and 3x higher than current. Told them too strong was told to wait 3 weeks to adjust. Needless to say didn't adjust. Took them back asked for my old prescription. They messed that up and still put something that was wrong. I came in just to get a spray bottle to clean my lenses and was greeted by Nick and Kelly. They were absolutely fantastic to talk to. They welcomed me in and were extremely friendly which made me comfortable right away. It was an overall great experience for something as small as purchasing a spray bottle. Caution: I gave this shop a relatively low score because I went there to get Rx sunglasses for a 6 hour drive I was to make 2 days later and I knew they made glasses in about an hour. After choosing my glasses and doing all the paperwork, I was informed they would be ready in 7-10 days. I said I had always gotten glasses in an hour at the other LensCrafters I had used. I was informed they had no lab and I said I didn't see a sign and was informed there was no sign for glasses in an hour, either. Okay. Could they transfer my order - they don't do that. Having not enough time to go elseware, I had to postpone my trip. read more

Horrible experience. They NEVER answer their phones...I literally had to drive and go to the location (sitting in traffic and wasting gas) to find out if my daughter's glasses were ready. Took 3 WEEKS to get new glasses. Staff is nice enough. Dr Lam the optometrist is good. I just don't know how you can run a business and not have a working phone system. In my opinion, save your time and money and go to Costco or Sams club for your optical needs. read more

Had my eye exam today with Dr. Lam. He was wonderful. He took the time to explain everything and he really taught me about my eyes as we went over the pictures of my eyeballs. I've been coming to LensCrafters for 3 years now and I'm very disappointed! First couple of times was okay but this week I've called over 12 times and no one ever answered nor did they return my call. I called another office to get the number to the district manager, but they are not allowed to give it to customers. This is not good business for the customers.
