My visit on June of 2025. My eye exam experience went well--the technician & doctor did a great job however overall experience was overshadowed by the behavior of the Hispanic female clerk in the showroom. Her job was to checked in and out at the showroom. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Due to this negative interaction, I chose not to purchase my glasses from LensCrafters and have decided not to return, nor will the rest of my family of five. I strongly urge management to address this behavior. There's no reason for customers to be treated with such a poor attitude, especially in a service-focused environment. read more

I'm so thankful i was helped by Ace - I had 2 pairs of glasses that needed adjusting. I went to another place first but they weren't able to help. Ace took them and knew immediately what was wrong. 1 needed new nose pads and he said the ones that were on were too small so he put new larger ones in and they fit so much more comfortable!! The second pair he knew needed adjusting as my lashes were scraping the lenses. I'm SO thankful for Ace and his expertise! not sure where to begin. my husband went in for an eye exam where he had a student doctor in person and then a doctor on zoom helping. the doctor on zoom had said it seemed like my husband had macular degeneration. which is a serious diagnosis... plus he's a pilot. If this were the case his life would change. they wanted to see him again for a follow up then gave him two options- one to keep an eye on it and come back in a few months. the other option to go see a specialist. he followed up by asking if it's a serious matter why would they even say to keep an eye on it for a few months then come back? the doctor then took what they said and yes we recommend going to a specialist and going soon... he goes to a specialist and he did not have macular degeneration. it was a complete mess. then I go to order new contacts and over a week later I still hasn't received them. I called and they told me they never put the order in. im also a pilot and need to see for work. completely unprofessional and sloppy. read more

Beware! Patient no longer sees an on-site doctor for the exam. A tech does most of the testing and at the end connects with a doctor, who is remote to select the correct lenses. When I asked how my questions could be addressed was told, "I guess one of our doctors could help you"--when, how, all remote. Will not be back. read more

My son and I have been going to this location for the past 2 1/2 years and have consistently been super pleased with their service. The doctor is great and extremely thorough as are the rest of the staff. You can tell the staff has been trained well as they are knowledgeable, friendly and patient. This location goes above and beyond in their service and is by far the best eyeglass store I have used in my many years of wearing glasses. Selection of glasses is awesome, as well. read more

My husband was told his glasses would be done in 2 weeks or less. Well at the 2 week mark we called and were told they had been shipped. At 2 and 1/2 weeks I called again and was told she "would look into it and call right back" 4 hours later still waiting for the call. So today I called about the glasses again and was told they have been there since 3/3/21. Interesting since 3/5/21 they told me they were shipped. Terrible customer service. The worst customer experience I've ever run across. Team members have attitude problems. Not friendly and give attitude like you are a bother to them. Went in for an eye exam and new frames. The girls working the desk for the eye exam didn't know what they were doing. I was asked the same question 4 times. I filled out paperwork while waiting to see the Doctor. It was done on one of their hand held devices. Gave it back once done. They lost it. Had to do it again. They couldn't find it again. I won't get into further details because that was the start. After eye exam done almost 2 hrs after scheduled appt, moved on to getting frames. Selected a pair and had to waite another 30 minutes before someone waited on me to complete my order for the glasses. Girl waiting on me acted as though her cell phone she kept looking at was more important. Took 2 weeks for glasses to come in for pick up. Got the glasses and could not see out of right lens. Prescription not correct. All blurry. Was told need to wait for eyes to adjust. Said not the case. Called and informed them still could not see or wear the glasses. Asked for a re exam. Girl on the phone did not know what she was doing. Explained to her the problem and she then asked......"did you get your glasses here?". OMG I was livid because why would I just spend 5 minutes explaining everything, why would I be calling you if I did not get my glasses there. I asked to speak with the manager. Another girl came on the phone. I asked her name and asked if she was the manager. She hung up on me. I had to have my husband call right back. He asked for the manager. I took the phone from there. Manager scheduled me for a re exam. Went in and was informed internet down and all exams could not be done. Never received a call ir text saying don't come in. Traveled 45 minutes for nothing, Girl named Lexi said she needed to check my prescription to see if they were made correct. After she took the glasses in the back she went on her cell phone and was chatting with someone for 10 minutes. Sounded like her child. She comes back to where me and my husband were sitting and gives an attitude saying......"well the prescription is right so I don't know why you can't see". I explained I could not see out of the right lens and this is why I was back to begin with. She sighs out loud and then tells me to look in the distance and cover my left and right eye. I explained AGAIN I could not see out of the lens. She didn't know what to do and spoke down to me like I was a problem, I told her I did not pay almost $600 for glasses I could not wear or see out of. I asked for my money due to talk to the manager. She said she was the manager. I knew she was not the manager because I spoke with him on the phone and his name is Ace. When I told her that she didn't know what to do. I asked for my money back. She refused saying she could not do this and that I would have to come back another day. Ok I could see if computer is down but couldn't she have taken info down on paper and entered it later? Honestly how they run the place is pathetic. I called them today to speak with the manager Ace to arrange to come in to see him for a refund. Again.......omg the girl who answere the phone was not pleasant. I just asked to speak with Ace. She sighed and said he's not in. When I asked when he would be in.... again a sigh. She was like......how am I suppose to know. I asked her to find out so I could call back when he would be in I would Never ever recommend this place to anyone. Staff needs training on public service and how to speak with customers professionally. If they find they do not like doing the job they were hired to do, they need to get out and look elsewhere. After having bad service about 6 months ago I decided to give it a try again since I need new glasses. There was only one other customer in the store and I heard one of the workers say this is the best time to come in because they were slow today. I was greeted when I walked in but after that no one asked me if I had any questions or needed any assistance. After 20 minutes of looking on my own I asked a worker if they can keep a list of the glasses in the computer I liked as I wanted to bring my husband back to help me decide. Her response.... "if you have a cell phone take a picture of the tag. Then we don't need to write them down for you." Okay... maybe not a big deal but her delivery of the message as if I was stupid for asking and for not thinking to take a picture on my own. I walked out with no one addressing me. I had some bad experiences ordering eyeglasses and lenses online, so several people suggested that I get some very basic glasses at LensCrafters. I called ahead of time, asking if I needed an appointment and asking if they needed any information other than my prescription print out from my eye doctor. They confirmed that I could walk in, get fitted, and pick up my glasses within the hour. I spent roughly 45 minutes there, without ordering anything, and was subjected to some very bad sales techniques and just very bad customer service. The "bait and switch" was in full swing, along with making me wait while they preyed on old ladies who were seemingly more susceptible to their schtick. The reason I left is that a pair of 7031 Ray Ban frames with polycarbonate lenses were $329 + tax at LensCrafters, while I paid $119 for the exact same set up online...and I would rather deal with some shipping snafus and wait a day as opposed to overpaying, feeling like I've been sold a bill of goods, and waiting only one hour. LensCrafters seems to be a place whose target market is dying. I suspect that unless they quit their terrible upselling and poor customer service, they will go the way of the dodo. read more

The Brookfield location is my only stop when I need to order frames. I go 1x a year and Ace is who helps me. Every year I walk in and he calls me by my name...how he does this I'm not sure but it is very impressive. Even more so now in 2020 when I walked in with a mask on and he still knew who I was. His customer service and professionalism is off the charts. I highly recommend this location. I was in and out fast and got my glasses in the hour they promised. read more

This business was recently remodeled. The "Grand Opening " revealed a TOTALLY impractical store. There are vast areas of space between everything. I was given a tray to put any glasses I "touched" into. But there is no place to set the trays as I tried on glasses so I had to balance them on top of the rows of displayed glasses. My impression was hundreds of glasses that all looked pretty much the same but with a different designer name on each one. Really, there is VERY little variation. And that "glasses in an hour" thing? Forget it. Other than single prescription glasses they are all sent out and require 10 days to 2 weeks. The technicians are nice and appear fairly knowledgeable, but between the virtue signaling about the sanitation (how is Covid spread?), the lack of choices in selection and the long wait for my product, I don't see any reason to continue going to Lenscrafters and probably will choose a another place next time. read more

Honestly, I expected more from my local Lenscrafters in Brookfield. The selection of frames was alright. But the service left a lot to be desired. I felt like I was on a used car lot. With the sales staff doing their best to pawn off the most expensive frames, and saying almost anything to make the sale. Urrghh!!! So I made a selection and got roped into buying top of the line lenses. Fine, whatever. Then they tell me it will be a week before my glasses are ready! Fine, whatever. So I wait a week then get a phone call telling me that my glasses won't be ready for another week!! FINE, WHATEVER. So another week later I show up to pick up my glasses and realize that they didn't make the frame adjustments I had requested. To which the salesperson replies that the type of adjustments I wanted can't be done on my frames, despite the fact that the initial salesperson had told me they could! So annoyed. But they did say "sorry" and it almost sounded genuine so I guess that makes everything alright. read more

My daughter and I were in the store a week ago and ordered contacts for my daughter. While we were in the store, everything was very nice. I received my daughter's contacts yesterday and noticed that the amount of boxes that were received was wrong. As a contact wearer myself, I know that 4 boxes of contacts did not equal a year supply. When I was ordering last weekend, I was told that, with my insurance, a 6 month supply was free and a year supply was $50. Of course, I ordered the year supply. When I called the store today, I spoke with two people, one an employee and then the store manager. The store manager was very argumentative and not willing to rectify the situation accordingly. He said that I received what I paid for. I guess, technically, I did, but that was not the order that I was promised. I paid $50 for a year supply. It is not my fault that THEIR employee messed up. So now because I couldn't accept their measly offer of 20% the remainder of my order, my daughter is out 6 months of contacts. I guess the customer isn't always right. I am quite disappointed in how the manager interacted with me. I will not be going back to this location and maybe not back to LensCrafters at all. read more

Stopped in to buy some reading glasses, when I was paying for them the clerk asked if I had a profile with them and I said no. He then wanted to set one up and I declined. He told me that if I didn't set up a profile I could not return the glasses. I said "I'll have a receipt". Apparently it didn't matter, the only way I could return them is if I set up a profile. Needless to say I walked out. All this is, is a data grab!! They can then make more money off of me when they sell the list to who knows. I bought Ray-Ban sunglasses from this location 4 months ago. I had to take them in 3 different times for the screws to be tightened as the lens kept popping out. The fourth time it happened, the lens landed on the concrete and chipped in 2 different spots. I took them in thinking LensCrafters would stand behind something they sold 4 months ago. I was wrong. They said it was out of warranty and it was my fault since I didn't buy the extended warranty. They refused to work with me and blamed it on me not the defective pair of sunglasses. I have been wearing glasses since I was 13 and I have never had a pair of glasses that had the lens pop out. But she said it wasn't defective since it was just the screws popping out. Total sham. I will never go back to LensCrafters if that is their idea of customer service. The discount eye glass places have better warranties and actually stand behind their product. At LensCrafters, you pay more for less service and no warranty. BUYER BEWARE! read more

My husband and I went to the Lens Crafters in Brookfield, WI on W. Bluemound Rd. I needed a new pair of glasses and always had good luck there. Again I found a very nice new pair of glasses. But, the real reason I am writing this review is for the sales girl who helped us. Her name is Julia M. We were both very impressed with her. She greeted us very friendly and offered her help to us. We were just browsing but in a few minutes she again offered us her help which we needed at that time. During the time it took us to write up my order, take measurements, etc Julia was also greeting new customers coming in, answering the phones, and directing customers as they needed. Not at anytime did we feel inconvenienced. Julia is a superstar employee for Lens Crafters. There were 2 other employees there but was to involved in what they were doing and I guessed couldn't multiply task. If we still owned our business we would have offered Julia a job.
