I came to the store to make a return and told the clerk why I was there. She told me there were two people ahead of me, so I waited patiently for my turn. While I was waiting, the clerk stopped assisting people with returns. Then another customer, a white woman, walked in to make a return, and the clerk immediately helped her. When I reminded the clerk that I had arrived first and had already been waiting, she told me that the other woman had come first, which was not true. I found the experience very upsetting and unfair. Based on what happened, I felt that I was treated differently and that race may have played a role in how customers were prioritized. I did not expect to experience this kind of treatment and hope management takes this concern seriously. read more

This review is long overdue! I came in wanting to purchase Meta glasses and had the pleasure of working with Athena. She was incredibly helpful and informative throughout the entire process. I knew I wanted Meta glasses, but I also wanted to fully understand the technology, the frames, the colors, the lenses, everything. I ended up being there for about two hours, and Athena was patient the entire time, answering every question I had and making sure I felt confident in my choice. When Athena was out for the day or on her breaks, her team members Mateo and Errol stepped in, and they offered the same level of courtesy and professionalism. This meant a lot, especially after having a disappointing experience at the Valley Fair Mall location. I've had my Meta glasses for a month now, and I absolutely love them. I'm truly grateful to the entire team for being so helpful, patient, and kind throughout the entire process. I will definitely be coming back for my frames! read more

OMG! Today 8/6/24 at 1:31pm. This is pathetic.. I called to cancel an eye glasses wty and the girl only wanted to debate me.. she would not give me her name and asked me why I wanted her name, seriously? I then said I wanted to speak to her manager and she hung up the phone.. This place is pathetic. Today's customer service representatives are rude, unprofessional and don't have a clue about what they are doing.. you only hope this girl never has to work in a position where her attention to detail actually matters.. read more

I was initially serviced well but my most recent two (2) visits have gone downhill. My prescription has been similar any didnt need changes but the doctor I had seen (not Rita) had been extremely pushy with changing my prescription. I have had multiple issues with my vision blurring since I had switchedy prescription and I had told them multiple times that the level and need had changed. I'm at my 3rd week with the new contacts they had pushed me to try (which I had resisted but they had stated that these were better) but I am now having my vision randomly blur when I am driving which is extremely dangerous. I'm all about "if it isnt broken do not fix it" but the doctory here had pushed the change and kept stating that my previous set-up was obsolete. I had a couple of my previous contacts and have switched them off on and off, and my previous contacts have not (over the course of two (2) years) have had theE issues. It's insane that the new set that I had purchased be a tad bit more expensive than the last set. It's something to think about when your doctors push a more expensive set of contacts than your previous prescription. read more

My actual name is Jose. I bough a Pair of lenses here January 8th. Brough my own pair because they don't carry mine in stock. Left them a previous frame I was wearing so they can use that to the sizing of the lens. Came inn with my boy , he saw me hand them the frame. Just to call the store yesterday for them to tell me I need to bring a frame inn so they can cut it to the frame size. Why do I need to do that if I already brought one inn the day I went. On top of that January 20th I called for an update they lied to me and said it was almost done. I asked for a refund. I wouldn't suggest you coming here ! I been a LensCrafters customer over 10 years and this is by far the worst LensCrafters to go too. read more

BUYER's BEWARE!!! they have such unethical business practices. The manager of the store herself told me that the corporate has advise them to go ahead and lock the prescription from patient's insurance unless the patient specifically asked them not to. What that means is if you go in for a pair of glasses and you ask them a quote for it they will lock it without your permission and you can only buy the glasses from them. If you decide not to buy from them, you will need to call your insurance and get this unlocked. Shame on them! read more

1st time non (member).. came here to try to get an eye exam that never happened. Had the expectation LensCrafters were going to be run upscale service, but it felt short of my expectations. Had an appointment set for 5:30 filled out quick paper work. Didn't get assisted until 620... the workers here seem to be unexperienced and lack of customer service. They seem to not respect your time as well. This place could be better but then again it's not worth to find optometrist in a mall to much foot traffic for them to handle and they fall short to attend to customers. LensCrafters is great at notifying customers to make appointments. However the downfall of being inside a mall is that there are too many walk in's and passerby's into the office. The sales people seem to be overwhelmed and are great one on one, however cannot handle multiple customers at times. I arrived early to fill out paperwork, yet was not seen until 15 mins pass my appointment time. This does not respect my time as a customer. They had to follow up on my insurance; The insurance should completion should have been vetted out prior to a customer's arrival, since I gave all my insurance information from the time I made the appointment. What was the point in that. The best part was Danika (eye tech), who literally turn around my perception of great customers service and also the Dr. Ahija was wonderful. Overall, just be prepared to walk a bit longer due to the location. However the quality of care is excellent. read more

If you have a high prescription, don't even think about this place. I wasted three weeks of my time waiting to hear if they could make my glasses. After they sent it out to two different labs that apparently should have been able to make my lenses, they came back and said it couldn't be done. If that wasn't bad enough, they had two different people follow up with me out of the blue to notify me that they weren't sure why the lenses couldn't be made. One guy acknowledged that there's no clear reason as to why my prescription keeps getting cancelled. Seems like bad communication with their contracted labs. Ultimately, they gave up and asked to give me a refund. First and last time I will ever go here. The people are nice but they have no clue what they are talking about. Dr. Ahuja is a fantastic optometrist! My appointment with her was quick and efficient. She addressed all of my concerns regarding my vision and on top of that, she is very friendly. I came in on Monday as a last resort. My daughter needed glasses ASAP. I didn't know they took insurance or I would of came here first. There are two Lenscrafters inside Valleyfair mall and often customers seem to get the two stores confused when leaving a review or visiting the store in general. The main location is next to Nordstrom's and have a great staff of women; I only say that because the two stores are polar opposites! While the location inside of Macy's the staff is 80% guys, the location next to Nordstrom is about 80% women. Both have great staffing in the location next to Nordstrom: Store manager Mayte, Store lead Michah Amber, Hira, Vanessa,Jessica, Jay, Lisa, Enrique and their GM Arsha just to name a few. The location inside Womens Macy's there is the store manager Rob, Errol, Jung, Alexander and Kat. When leaving a review please remember which store you had your experience in! Both stores share the same doctors and the location Brent to Nordstrom has great pretesters Merna, Yasaman and Negar who are great with the Lenscrafters exclusive Clarifye and the Macy's team has Errol and and Jung Dr. Ahuja, Dr, Yang, Dr. Tran and Dr. Chan and the two stores act as a team to provide the best experience for each customer! read more
