Clean restaurant. Decently comfortable. Live edge tables were a nice touch. Food takes a while but the stromboli and calzone's are amazing. They do have finer Italian dining selections but haven't had a chance to try them yet. Family owned and vety easy dining.

Happy after dinner at Lenoci's!

I have been here multiple times and have had multiple different items from the menu. To start, the apps are all great. The wedding soup tastes fresh out of my noona's kitchen. Salad and bread are always fresh. My personal favorite is Chicken Marsala. I have had Marsala in multiple local and Cleveland based restaurants. No one and let me reiterate no one makes a better Marsala than Lenoci's. And trust me I am picky. My second choice is always Chicken Alfredo. The alfredo sauce is chef's kiss . The chicken for both marsala and alfredo is tender, flavorful and a good size portion. Salad is fresh and home made dressings are great.Pizza is wonderful. And don't pass up dessert, especially tiramisu,it is the best. Service has always been spot on. And prices are comparable to any top of the line Italian restaurant. Do yourself a favor...don't pass up this diamond in the rough. You won't regret it.

Wonderful food, and service. If you are looking for homemade quality Italian food, look no further! The staff were attentive and courteous. We got the calzone, the bake was perfect and it was stuffed full of fresh quality ingredients!

We stopped here on our overnight trip to Cedar Point. We arrived after dinner time so the restaurant was almost empty. We all ordered salads to start with and they were good. I shared my favorite Italian dish, Chicken Marsala with my daughter. It was full of mushrooms and delicious. My son in law and son shared a pepperoni pizza. They liked it and I had a small slice which I enjoyed. Service was friendly and fairly quick. The restaurant itself is on the smaller and older side but was clean.

Eggplant rollatini with spaghetti

I have driven by for years and only thought it was a pizza parlor. My husband and I finally stopped and were very surprised at this little gem. The food was wonderful. We had the fried ravioli appetizer which was perfectly crispy with a fluffy ricotta filling. I had the chicken Marsala with a side of spaghetti. My husband had the eggplant rollatini. Both entrees came with your choice of soup or salad. We both opted for the potato garlic soup. The restaurant was very clean. The tables were sanitized between guests. While it is not cheap, the prices are comparable to any chain Italian restaurant, however the food quality is better.

The food here was awful, sauce tasted like it was warmed from a jar or can. Pasta was dry and cold in the center of the dish, and price is ridiculous for the quality. The server brought me the wrong dish and told me that I ordered something I didn't. She did take our food off the bill so there is that but what I did eat made me sick. The seating was nice but uncomfortable and loud due to the small space. I would not return to this restaurant, save your money and time.

Family sized pizza

Wanted to try some place different. Small family run business with Great Service. Walked in no reservation at 6:30 and were seated within minutes. Ordered a large family pizza for me and my son. Pepperoni on his half and pepperoni sausage banana peppers and extra cheese. Slightly sweet sauce. Got cheese bread and a side of meatballs as an appetizer. Everything was very good. Definitely coming back to try spaghetti and or Alfredo.

Great food here. I had the ny style pizza and it was great. The salad was home style which you never see anywhere.

This place was located in downtown Lorain which seems to be trying to turn itself around. We walked in and were greeted by the cashier. As I went to place an order the cashier told us go ahead and have a seat wherever we would like, the waitress will take our order. It's was a nice day outside so we decided to sit outside. I asked about the pizza's, ingredients in sauce and handed her my allergy card. Lorenzo himself came out to talk to me, he recommended the wood fire pizza, its tomatoes and not sauce. We placed our orders. We received our pizza pretty quickly for freshly made, from the first bite it was so delicious. The waitress checked on us and I asked is this the same Lorenzo's from Oberlin? I remember visiting there and loving the pizza. The answer is yes, his son runs the one in Oberlin and he runs this one in Lorain. We ordered cannoli's with chocolate chips, the order comes with 4 mini ones. Tasty as well. The bill was $38 for a medium pizza one topping, 6 slices, 3 drinks and four cannolis (mini). That included the 20% tip. This fed 3 people with two slices and we were satisfied.

The staff were so incredibly welcoming and friendly to our out of town crew. Gosh I wish I could remember all the names of the sweet girls working. But back to pizza.... The brick oven pizza crust was cooked to perfection. The pizza with spinach and the one with meatballs...I cant put into words how awesome the pizza was. It was light, airy, just cheesy enough, not too much sauce- truly pizza perfection!

Let me confess something. I have lived in Lorain County for 25 years, and somehow I never tried…read moreRosie's. My aunt lived right across the street and still ordered Marco's or Little Caesars every time. So naturally, for two decades, I just assumed Rosie's must not be anything special. I was so wrong. When you walk inside, the first thing that greets you is a framed newspaper clipping about Rosie herself. Ninety years old, making pizzas longer than most of us have been alive, crowned as the Pizza Queen and longest-running pizza maker in America. Judging by the article, I'd guess it was published around 2004, since Rosie passed away in 2007 at the age of 93. May she rest in peace, and may her legendary recipe live on through the family who still runs the place today, keeping it in the family. Walking in, I instantly understood why this place has been operating longer than most of us have been around. No cashless world, no touchscreen kiosk, no apps, no nonsense. Cash only. A building that looks exactly the same as the year it was built. The same old-school menu board that probably hasn't moved since it was hung, only the prices have changed. No cheesy bread, no wings, no subs, no "new limited time only" sides trying to distract you. Just pizza. The way pizza was meant to be. And then came the first bite. I swear I felt like I got hit with a nostalgia flashbang. My brain immediately pulled up memories I didn't even know were archived. It tasted like the pizza we grew up with before everything turned into commercialized cardboard covered in grease and marketing budgets. This was simple. This was pure. This was time machine pizza. There is something about Rosie's that a picture can't ever show. The flavor is different. The feeling is different. You take a bite and suddenly you remember being a kid, running around after school, when Friday night pizza actually meant something. My taste buds felt like they were being rebooted by a memory I didn't know existed, delivered courtesy of a cardboard box and a place that refuses to change in the best possible way. Rosie's didn't just serve me pizza. They served me nostalgia wrapped in cheese, baked in time, and sliced into something you cannot understand until you try it yourself. Thank you, for one of the most authentic pizza experiences I've ever had. Rosie's is the real deal. And I wish I hadn't waited 25 years to figure that out.

Was looking forward to trying this place out. Got there and it was closed. They should update their…read morehours.
